Only three minutes from downtown, and nestled in the historical Washington Park neighborhood, our quaint Mother-in-law suite is ideal for travel nurses, couples or even small families looking for a safe & comfortable place to rest after a productive day of exploring. The suite is literally a stone's throw from the School of the Arts and walking distance to the Elevation Church/YWCA building, Salem College, Camino Bakery, Convenience Stores, etc.The suite is furnished with a King sized Bed with memory foam for a comfortable good night's sleep. The accompanying folding bed provides additional sleeping space as needed. It also has a dedicated workspace desk with a lamp, high speed internet and a Playstation 5 for break time. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials needed to prepare a wholesome meal as well as a curiously interesting portable dishwasher. For those traveling with infants or babies, there is even a crib for parent's peace of mind and the bathroom has a tub (and shower) for bath time. As far as entertainment, the suite is equipped with a 65 inch curved Samsung TV where you can sign in to you streaming service of choiceThe mother in law suite is in the back of our main building which is a historical 1910 home and is used by the owner and other Short Term rental guests from time to time. But the back yard and deck are shared spaces available to you.For those with electric cars, we also have a level 2 fast charger that is available for use. So if you are in town, come give us a visit.Guests have access to the mother-in-law suite, the deck in the back and the backyard with swing. Note that for safety purposes there is a video doorbell on this listing which turns on only when it detects motion outside the front door. The main unit in the front also has a video doorbell at its entrance. There are no cameras inside the unit. Quiet, home-style stay in historic Washington Park neighborhood. We are a homey apartment in a two-family house with a mix of some luxury and casual living. Humble, clean, and comfy, in walking distance from Washington Park, UNCSA (we're 1 block from the Uni), Acadia Foods, East of Texas, Lesser Known Brewery, and several other new and trendy spots. 1 mile to 4 of the best coffee shops and downtown, all walkable or a 4 minute drive. Garage access included! (Free coffee coupon at SaySo!)We are a fully furnished home-styled 1 bedroom apartment located in a charming duplex three blocks from Washington Park and 1 block from UNSCA. Fully stocked kitchen. With microwave, electric stove, coffee maker, pots & pans, and everything else you'll need if you want to cook away from home. Also, lots of lovely plants. Access to garage parking, if desired! We hope to observe quiet hours during the week after 10PM--your hosts are also your neighbors! We're married and nesting ex-artists working in the industry now though one of us still plugs away at their book (some day!).Very sunny in the morning, the bedroom contains a plush bed, mattress, sheets, and duvet!
