My wife and I stayed 3 nights arriving at 4PM after being met at the TNR Airport. A nice receptionist with decent English copied our passports as the card payment was automatically processed. Another really good English speaking receptionist collected our key cards and escorted us up one of the 3 elevators to the 3rd floor. Room #303 was a perfect Radisson solution to travel, with all necessary items of a 5 star; robes, slippers, large fluffy towels, very comfortable queen with great pillows and duvet, large TV with excellent satellite reception(BBC + 19 other channels), upholstered bench, cushioned chairs, welcome tray(cookies, grapes & candy), 2 designer waters with coffee, cream and chocolate. A costly 6:30AM buffet breakfast or a la carte selections were available at the lobby restaurant. We bought muesli, yogurt, milk, bananas and nuts at the nearby Waterfront Center Shoprite, had lunch at the KFC and at the sister Radisson’s Tamboho Restaurant. I used the upscale 8 station gym and saw the small pool and the Fire Court Restaurant, all with 8th floor city views. We scheduled daily trips with hotel-arranged drivers in Peugeot cars: -50km circuit north to Royal Hill of Ambohimanga($45). -58km circuit south to La Haute Ville d’ Antananarivo Palace, churches and Lemur’s Park($72).

Sehr unprofessionelles Verhalten als wir mit unserer 20 Monate alten Tochter in das Hotel einchecken wollten und unsere Mastercard nicht akzeptiert wurde. Mit dieser hatten wir zuvor sämtliche Rechnungen in Madagaskar ohne Probleme beglichen. Wir wurden angehalten das Geld bar von einem Geldautomaten abzuholen. Meiner Frau wurde nicht angeboten mit unserer Tochter das Hotelzimmer zu beziehen. Man vermittelte uns den Eindruck, wir wollten das Zimmer nicht bezahlen. Dies war sehr beschämend für uns. Problem lag beim Hotel und nicht bei uns. Den Zimmerservice, den wir später bestellt hatten, konnten wir problemlos mit der Mastercard bezahlen. Meine Frau, die Madagassin ist, wurde immer wieder auf Französisch angesprochen, obwohl die Rezeptionisten auch Madagassin war und meine Frau versuchte das Problem auf Madagassisch zu lösen. Dies wirkte auf uns im höchsten Maße diskriminierend. Also Konsequenz für uns: Nie wieder Radisson Blue weltweit !

Wir haben hier zweimal mit ein paar Tagen zwischen uns geblieben. Unser erstes Aufenthalt war großartig! Die Zimmer sind schön, geräumig und sauber. Das Restaurant war geschlossen, aber die Außenbar servierte schöne Speisen (nur 2 Veggie-Optionen), obwohl ein wenig laut und kalt (sie gab uns Kleidung, als wir fragten). Unser zweiter Aufenthalt war schrecklich! Wir hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht, aber sie sagten, wir hatten nur eine. Wir mussten mehrere Stunden in der Rezeption warten, um das zu sortieren ohne Entschuldigung von der Mitarbeiter. Als wir heraus kamen, sagten sie, sie haben das Geld nicht von lastminute.com erhalten und baten uns, wieder zu zahlen. Ich habe Belege für die Zahlung gezeigt, aber sie sagten, sie hätten es nicht, so wollten sie mich zahlen. Ich weigerte mich! Sie baten mich, lastminute.com zu rufen, um die Zahlung an sie zu sortieren. Ich erläuterte, dass alles am Ende komplett war und dass sie es mit dem Touristenbetreiber nicht mit mir sortieren konnten. Auch auf unserem zweiten Aufenthalt war das Essen schrecklich - das Zebu-Filet war völlig unsauerbar. Als wir dem Personal gesagt haben, dass sie dieses Problem nicht einmal anerkennen.

I was traveling for work, and the first part of my trip was pretty good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even found me a doctor when I got sick one evening. The breakfast was excellent. Wifi was pretty reliable. But it was a loud hotel. Initially there was some construction going on outside the window of my room, so even when my room got a bit stuffy it was hard to keep the window open long because of the noise. Then later in the week there were about 200 young athletes staying in the hotel and it descended into chaos. It's a really well-located hotel, and so you may still choose to stay. If you find it too loud, I recommend walking around the corner to Paradise Restaurant (actually I recommend this anyway!) the atmosphere is a peaceful buzz of excitement and the food is delicious!!

My stay here was a wonderful experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and quiet, providing a perfect environment for relaxation. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making me feel right at home. One highlight of my stay was the shower—it had excellent water pressure and was always nice and hot. We also enjoyed playing a game of pool at the end of a day. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!
