Annecy itself is an absolute gem. What a beautiful historic town surrounded by a stunning view of the Alps sitting behind the sparkling lake. The hotel is in an ideal spot in the old town with plenty of shops and bars and cafes to try. However, this hotel is disgusting and although we plan on visiting Annecy again we certainly won't be staying here. This is a budget hotel to say the least, the price was cheap however I have stayed in plenty of budget hotels and although basic in their presentation they are usually at least cheerful and clean. This hotel is dark and dismal, the corridors smell funny, the room itself is dirty, even my ten year old was concerned about walking on the carpet! The carpet is old and stained and needs replacing, the curtains were hanging off, there was hooks for a shower curtain but no actual curtain on the hooks, we had half a toilet roll (if that) the one and only electric socket in the main room was coming away from the wall, the door handle in the bathroom is falling off, tiles missing, black stains in the toilet, the toilet brush - gross!!! Breakfast was ok but not really worth the money, was seated next to a lovely dusty window with cobwebs. The noise is horrendous on a night - it's on a main street so expected noise but this was from within the hotel - you can hear every door and voices carry very loudly. Just because it is a budget hotel doesn't mean you shouldn't have pride in your business!! Lots of maintenance work and a good old clean required here, such a shame for a lovely old building in the prime position of a gorgeous town! Definitely won't be coming to stay in this hotel again.

The location of this hotel, in the heart of Annecy, is the best thing. I booked a room without shower, but with toilet, for 45 euros and I think it is a good price. I slept very well despite of the noise during certain nights, but I really like to be in the centre. The room was good, but there was no hooks for the towels, which is a bit strange. The cleaning could be better too. There is a French breakfast that I liked a lot: bread, croissant, plenty of coffee, yoghurt and orange juice.

Great breakfast included and perfect central location. Helpful staff and family run. Rooms a bit small and no elevator but location -also close to parking lot and all the action in the crowds. I really enjoyed the city itself as well. Lots of food and activities

Excellent food cooked and prepared well at a fair price. Very relaxed and friendly loungy feel. Great location next to the river canal. We will definitely be returning with friends and family when we just want a nice meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

Le genre d’établissement traditionnel, un peu vieille France où l’on s’attend à des produits de qualité mais nous avons été déçus. Formule plat + dessert à 30€, nous avons choisi une entrecôte et une tarte fine aux pommes. La viande était de qualité très moyenne accompagnée d’une sauce au vin qui n’avait pas été annoncée (j’aurais vraiment préféré nature) et de très peu de purée de pommes de terre et de haricots verts, à se partager à deux alors qu’il y avait juste ce qu’il fallait pour une personne. Service moyen. Bref, le minimum, qui ne justifierait pas de renouveler l’expérience. Il y a sans doute mieux ailleurs à Annecy pour 96€ pour 2 personnes.

super emplacement au bord des canaux, c'est top. nous avions demandé une chambre côté rivière pour la vue ce qui était chouette mais en fait le bruit du barrage en bas de l'hôtel nous a empêché de dormir. car oui chambre non climatisée donc fenêtre ouverte la nuit sinon il fait trop chaud. salle de bain un peu vétuste mais correcte tout de même pour un bref séjour. personnel un peu froid aux premiers abords mais qui se détend au fur et à mesure de l'échange. petit déjeuner classique installé lorsque l'on arrive dans le petit salon. une chose est a déplorer les yaourts sont sur les tables depuis les 8h du matin donc suivant l'heure à laquelle vous descendez..... nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant préférant bouger un peu dans la ville le soir. en résumé, le cadre est chouette pour 1 ou 2 nuits mais pas plus que ça. si nous devons retourner à Annecy nous testerons un autre hôtel
