The pillows are very fluffy and the place is new and super clean however there is limited horizontal space in our rooms for our items. The side tables are very small along with the bathroom sink area. There is another small table for the kettle, water, sweets and a book. There's plenty of room for a desk in the nook and for larger side tables. I love the little balcony but ours faced the street which was quite noisy. I think we would have been happier with the small private yard. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We all loved the pool and jacuzzi except the day the jacuzzi was very cold. Ongoing construction in the parking lot. Hope to get a fantastic sunset shot on our last night.

Step inside this storybook space and relax! Azores Book Hotel will rejuvenate you with: 1) luxury decor and author-themed rooms (we loved the Romeo and Juliet suite) 2) attentive staff 3) walkable distance to all the heritage sites 4) a plentiful hot breakfast buffet ! General manager Lara is elegant and caring. The shared area features 5000 books, a wine and beer “bar,” comfy seating and snacks. Highly recommend! 5 stars ⭐️

Beautiful new hotel with many extras! Rooms were lovely, fruit in the room every day, at least 4 usb ports, Finishes were modern, elegant and clean. Part of Azores getaways. Highly recommend. Wine by the glass or bottle in the evening, breakfast was included and a lovely selection

This hotel is brand new , just opened in August and 2nd phase of property is still under construction. What is finished is top notch. Rooms were well equipped, wife loved the hair dryer and ironing board availability. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful with tourist recommendations and restaurants to try. Outdoor seating and attention to detail to the finishes was very notable. Breakfast was very good, perhaps some fruit or salad would be a healthy addition. Location is very good and on site free parking was available. Owner toured us through the new development under construction - will be outstanding when completed later this year with Spa, indoor and outdoor pools, gym and relaxing areas.
