The location and the view to the village across the river is just unique as well as the property itself that has a great history behind. The owners in several generations are also very nice and welcoming though understandably they are watching you constantly to make sure you would not make any damages to the property that may be considered a little bit invasive. The breakfast is traditional Korean that may not be suitable for many Europeans' used to type of breakfast, e.g., no coffee or pastries or anything sweet - get some from a convenient store on your way. In addition to the above about the breakfast, we found out that the bathroom that is not in the room is actually not that close to the room either - hence, if it rains or cold outside it is rather an uncomfortable issue. Each room has actually two zones: living and sleeping divided by a door, only the sleeping one has some heating and the AC, though the other one has a heater it is just not able to warm the room enough. The parking is limited in front of the villa, so keep in mind and it is located behind the Confucius school. It is rather expensive, but I guess it is unique so it may make sense. Nevertheless we would definitely recommend to stay as an alternative to hanok or temple stay.
