Hotels in der Nähe von Lissos Beach, Anatolikos Selinos

Lage, anderthalb Stunden Fahrt vom Hafen von Kreta, in den Bergen, steiler, Auto mieten. . Da diese Stadt relativ abgelegen ist, sind wir durch die Stadt gelaufen und ich war mit meinem Mann und zwei Asiaten zusammen. Von außen sah das Hotel sehr sauber aus. Nach dem Betreten waren die Einrichtungen alt und es gab elektrische Ventilatoren. Die Schlüssel sind auch sehr persönlich, es gibt keine Toilettenartikel, das Badezimmer ist klein und das Frühstück ist nicht sehr reichhaltig. Wenn man vom rosa Strand eineinhalb Stunden fährt, ist die gerade Linie relativ nah, aber der Berg ist langsamer. Das Hotel liegt auch am Strand, die Meeresbrise ist groß und etwas kalt.

Wir hatten wirklich einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Cretan Dream Royal. Die Mitarbeiter haben alles gegeben, damit die Gäste zufrieden sind. Die Anlage ist sehr schön. Pool, Bar, Restaurant und Zimmer war alles super. Unser Zimmer, ganz normale Kategorie, war sehr großzügig und hell. Es gibt wohl noch ein Spa, dort waren wir jedoch nicht und einen Minimarkt. Auch dort war das Personal sehr freundlich und man konnte auch nachts noch an der Rezeption fragen, ob man noch etwas kaufen kann. Das war kein Problem. Ja, an manchen Stellen ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen, aber man sieht, dass Dinge die neu gemacht werden müssen, Schritt für Schritt angegangen werden. Außerdem ist alles tiptop sauber und die gesamte Anlage sehr ordentlich. Daher ist das für mich absolut in Ordnung. Das Beste war das Essen. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und morgens Buffet und abends ein 4-Gänge-Menü. Beim Frühstück gab es für mich alles was das Herz begehrt hat. Das Abendessen war der Hammer, wirklich sehr lecker, etwas ausgefallen und schön angerichtet. Wenn man vom Menü etwas nicht wollte oder mochte, hat das Serviceteam Alternativen vorgeschlagen. Außerdem gab es einige Themenabende z.B. Cretan BBQ und Meat Lover. Auch hier war alles sehr lecker. Wir hatten ein super Tomahawk Steak. Beim BBQ Abend hat außerdem eine kleine Band griechische Musik gespielt und es gab dazu griechischen Tanz. Da wir früh abreisen mussten, haben wir ein kleines Frühstückspaket mit einem Wrap, Brötchen und Marmelade/Honig, Apfel, Kuchen und Trinkpäckchen bekommen. Als letztes Abschiedsgeschenk gab es ein Glas Honig aus dem Ort, wo der Besitzer des Hotels gebürtig herkommt. Einziger negativer Punkt ist ggf. dass die Umgebung nicht die schönste Ecke ist. Den Strand fanden wir eher nicht so gut und zum außerhalb Essen gehen gibt es sicher auch schönere Orte. Die Nähe zu Chania und vergleichsweise auch Balos fanden wir aber toll, da uns beides sehr gut gefallen hat. Vor der Tür ist auch eine Bushaltestelle, haben wir jedoch nicht genutzt, da wir mit einem Mietwagen da waren. Genug Parkplätze waren vorhanden.

Tolles kleines Hotel direkt am Strand. Wir waren als Familie dort und haben uns die ganze Zeit über wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten Frühstück mit hinzu gebucht und waren mit der Auswahl die angeboten wurde zufrieden und glücklich. Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit und sehr fleißig.Besonders die beiden Kellner Stelios und Kosta waren sehr hilfsbereit und immer für einen Spaß zu haben. Manoli und Andreas von der Rezeption kamen uns auch mit ihrer griechischen Gastfreundschaft immer zu Hilfe. Der Großteil des Personals ist wirklich immer sehr hilfsbereit und sehr fleißig. Wir werden nächstes Jahr auf jeden Fall wieder als Gäste zurückkehren.

Schön freundlich kleines Hotel mit erstaunlichem Personal. Große Zimmer und Badezimmer - unser war ein zweibett mit massivem Balkon (kosten ca. 5 £ / Woche mehr als ein Bett!) Die Kraftdusche war erstaunlich - Wasser von 5 verschiedenen Punkten! und Wasserdruck und Temperatur perfekt. Sehr schöner Pool und Garten, obwohl es ein wenig cool war, als wir besucht wurden. Sehr schöne Aufzug auf die oberen Stockwerke - mit Glasseite so dass nicht klaustrophobic wie die meisten kleinen Aufzüge. Frühstück sehr gut für ein solches kleines Hotel (nur ca. 5 Zimmer in Betrieb, als wir geblieben waren) mit einer großen Auswahl an Weidereien und kontinentalen Dingen, die ich normalerweise nicht essen, aber diese Zeit eine große Ausnahme gemacht. Das Hotel ist nur 200 m vom Strand und den Busstrecken entfernt. Einige anständige Restaurants in der Gegend oder gehen Sie nach Chania (ca. 1.15 Stunden) oder einen Bus. Hotel neu und ohne Platzreinigung, angemessen WiFi und andere Einrichtungen einschließlich fantastische Kaffeemaschine (aber hätte eine Kettle bevorzugt) würde definitiv empfehlen und würde sicher zurückkehren, wenn ich wieder Chania besuche.

We arrived in beautiful Chania and were dropped off on the main road opposite the little track up to the Nireas. I had read TA reviews so knew to expect that Christos, the owner, would offer us a room upgrade but we were happy with our original room which was Apt 24 on the ground floor with a fantastic large balcony opening straight onto the pool area. We paid €5 a night for air con which was really powerful, and €10 for the safe. The room was dated but more than adequate for us as we are used to Greek accommodation. There were 2 beds pushed together and then a single bed near the door which my son slept in. There was a 2 ring hob, microwave and kettle and basic utensils but we only ate breakfast in the apartment so it was more than enough. I think you would struggle to conjure up a Cordon Bleu meal though but with so many fabulous restaurants on the doorstep, it wasn’t a worry for us. There were a few things that made us chuckle…. the apartment door had been hung the wrong way so the handle was inside the room and not on the outside 🤣 and the usual Greek plumbing scenario with the shower head on the wall but the shower screen on the other side of the shower meaning the floor got soaked 🫣 but hey, it’s Greece 🇬🇷 The maid came in every day except a Sunday and the sheets/towels were changed regularly. There was a drying rack on the patio for hanging wet beach stuff up. Plenty of socket points and the beds were super comfy. The pool area was quiet but we only used it in the afternoons once we came back from the beach. There were always sunbeds and Christos was either there or available by WhatsApp. The WiFi worked fine in our rooms and by the pool. Kato Doratso is a residential suburb just 4km outside of Chania so a perfect location for us. Just down the little road from the hotel is a supermarket on the corner for all your essentials/bottles of water. There were 4 beaches within walking distance and we chose Sunset Beach due to the stunning clear water. It’s a bay so no tide and it was shallow for a great way out meaning our son could happily swim and play without us worrying too much. There was a bar on the beach and the owner did a mean Freddo Cappuccino ☕️ 👌🏽 You could buy salads, hot snacks and sandwiches, ice creams, crisps and drinks there. There were also chargeable sunbeds and parasols and you could hire a kayak or paddle board. There was another shop near the start of the hotels to the left of the bay. We bought a couple of parasols from the shop and lay on the beach. It was full of local families and we thoroughly enjoyed mixing with them. The bus into Chania is the #21. Come out of the hotel, down onto the main road and take a right along the path. Just past the car garage there’s a bus stop and a ticket machine. You need the exact change and it’s €1.10 each into town (€2 if you pay on the bus) When you are is in Chania, as you get off, there’s a ticket machine and a kiosk to buy return tickets and you can catch the bus back
