Hotel Carmencita

Reservation booked and confirmed 2 months in advance with a credit card (2 adults and our daughter 14yrs old) .... 11 days prior to arrival July 1st 2022, manager/owner by the name Fabrizio, calls me on my cell phone (not by email) saying there were bad news "the guest occupying our assigned room was covid positive" ... instead of offering an alternative accommodation he was, just verbally canceling the reservation ... I replied send me a medical proof/certificate stating so ...he never did... Of course it was not true ... I proceeded to contact a major Travel Agency N.Jersey and another one in Rome ...both wholesale agencies, were relatives of us work ...they started to email and call asking for explanations ... long story short ...only two days prior to arrival, Fabrizio gave in and called me saying he had solved the issue and he would honor the reservation ... The room assigned was "dirty, the double bed (2 twin mattresses of different height) and Air conditioning did not work the 1st night ... A disaster place with a really deficient management concept of the hospitality industry .... DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! there are plenty of better choices in Anacapri and Capri

We enjoyed our 2 nights in hotel Carmencita. Good choice to stay in Anacapri instead of Carpri, nice area with many restaurants around and bus stop really close. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast was good and you get loads of options. The only not so good thing was the bed, which it was very uncomfortable, we could also hear all the noise from outside and downstairs. I would recommend this hotel, we felt welcomed and we really appreciate that they picked us up from the port for free.

Premetto che non ho soggiornato nella struttura essendo ospite altrove , ma ho potuto godere su consiglio di amici, della piscina che l albergo offre anche a passanti esterni. Nonostante si trovi a ridosso della strada più trafficata di Anacapri, dall’ interno non si è affatto infastiditi dal rumore che giunge lontano. La piscina non grandissima e’ molto pulita , a disposizione degli ospiti doccia calda e fredda, spogliatoi e servizi.Il personale del piccolo snack molto ospitale e gentile. Si può approfittare dell offerta ingresso più panino (a scelta tra 5/6 proposte) a circa 25 euro con lettino ed ombrellone. Altrimenti con una piccola maggiorazione si possono scegliere altre proposte di piatti. In questi giorni di gran caldo e di affollamento ovunque, io ho trovato sull isola,una piccola isola di tranquillità. Bravi!

Siamo stati presso l'hotel Carmencita a metà giugno e nel complesso siamo stati bene nonostante la semplicità dell'hotel. Ingresso e sala colazione molto datati, colazione un po' deprimente servita dal proprietario che però è molto gentile. Un po' rumoroso per via della strada su cui affaccia , meglio camere lato piscina. Camera molto fresca e pulita , biancheria pulitissima e candida. Ho apprezzato la posizione perché consente di attraversare tutto il centro di Anacapri e si trova sotto il monte Solaro. Semplice ma economico per una vacanza easy e divertente

Nous avons réservé une nuit à cet hôtel. Notre bateau a été annulé pour une alerte rouge météo. Nous avons demandé à l’hôtel un avoir pour venir à une autre date. Ils ont refusé Ils ne sont pas commerciaux je vous conseille d’éviter cet hôtel. Mieux vaut réservé sur un autre site de réservation que de passer en direct avec l’hôtel car avec les autres sites vous avez un droit à l’annulation.

A éviter, Nous avons réservé une nuit à cet hôtel…. Notre bateau a été annule à cause de la météo il y avait une alerte rouge. Nous ne voulions pas pénaliser l’hôtel donc nous avons demandé un avoir plutôt qu’un remboursement. Ils ont refusé. Ils ne pensent qu’à l’argent donc évitez d’y séjourner Si vous n’avez pas le choix réservez sur un revendeur mais pas à l’hôtel en direct vous aurez le droit à une annulation gratuite.
