Wir haben auf eigene faust eine rundreise durch Jordanien für 14 Tage geplant, unsere erste Stop war in der Hauptstadt Amman, wir haben uns für das Hotel International entschieden aufgrund seine gute Bewertungen, im großen und ganzen eine schönes und sauberes Hotel auch gut abgelegen und weit weg von den ganzen Trubel in der Stadt, allerdings finden wir das das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht überein unsere Meinung viel zu teuer für das was das Hotel anbietet klar ist das Sauber und das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit aber das wars dann auch das Frühstück war leider nicht wirklich 5 Sterne und was für uns ganz schlimm war als gute Kaffee Liebhaber war das es morgens zum Frühstück nur eine tüte künstliche Kaffee pulver die man mit heißes Wasser aufgießt einen No Go für eine 5 Sterne Hotel und vorallem so eine Land wo Das Kaffee trinken mehr als nur Kaffee trinken ist, als ich gefragt habe würde mir dann Gesagt man kann aber auch andere Kaffee Spezialitäten bestellen allerdings würde uns das extra kosten, das haben wir dann auch getan und Cappuccino bestellt habe dann eine Cappuccino bekommen die nicht größer war als ca. 150 ml und preislich bei ca. 5 JOD lag wirklich eine Unverschämtheit . Fazit: Das Hotel ist gut zum Schlafen Essen würde ich nicht empfehlen, es lohnt sich aufjedenfall mehr draußen zu frühstücken.

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel welches ich aus unten genannten Gründen nicht weiterempfehlen kann: Dachterrasse war nicht möbliert, Poolanlage sah aus aus wäre diese schon lange nicht mehr im Betrieb und keinerlei Info dass besagtes zu dieser Jahreszeit nicht in Betrieb ist oder ähnliches. Wir kamen spät Abends an und waren froh endlich im Zimmer zu sein. Einchecken hat bestens geklappt aber dann bevor wir ins Bett gegangen sind, der Gang zum WC und dann, Spühlung funktioniert nicht. OK müssen wir am nächsten Morgen gleich melden! Wir haben versucht zu schlafen aber die Disco unter uns war so laut, dass dies nicht möglich war. Dann Nachts um 1 Uhr Rücksprache mit der Reception welche Hilfsbereit war und wir konnten 1 Uhr Nachts das Zimmer wechseln (Discobetrieb gem. Reception bis 4 Uhr Morgens) Das neue Zimmer war schöner als das ALTE aber noch näher an der Disco dran was uns nichts gebracht hat. ”Dienst am Kunden” und die Sterne nicht wert. We would like to specifically mention, that this hotel was booked on the grounds of location (we needed something on the outskirts of Amman, so that we could drop our car there and use taxi to travel inside the city). What was good: - convenient location if you would like to not drive inside Amman - spacious room - nice staff (though not too able to communicate in English at times - there're multiple employees and their level of English varies) - nice view from the balcony - WiFi was not too bad - all amenities were available Disliked · What didn't go well: - the apartment was clearly not having enough cutlery (i.e., there was only 1 large spoon, 1 small spoon, etc.) - no wine/beer or for that matter any regular size glasses. On request we managed to get whiskey glasses, which were able to use for juice - not all floors are served by the elevator - bathroom was separated by a glass wall, and it was a bit challenging, I would really suggest replacing it with a normal wall

The hotel is awful, old fashioned, smelly, they never once hoovered or cleaned the room or the bathroom! The air con/heating didn’t work, the tv didn’t work, the toilet itself was broken and each time I flushed, the toilet would flood! There were exposed cables in the bathroom and near basin area, the shower itself would ooze a horrible smell! They didn’t provide a coffee cup to drink out of even after asking several times! They were rude and told me to use the bathroom glasses/tumblers! We stayed here as part of a tour of Jordan, but it was traumatic to say the least! 3 nights of awful food, bland, tasteless, they would recycle the meals and you’d have it for the next day (dinner as breakfast etc). The omelette station guy was clueless and nearly set himself on fire a few times! I made my own omelette once as no one was around! The food was left uncovered so would have flies over them, cold most of the time, it was like eating mush every day! The hotel has a gym and pool but they let random people into the hotel to use these for a small amount of pocket change! I was in the gym one evening with others from my tour group and we were threatened by a group of Jordanians who demanded to know our room numbers, our personal details and one tried to take my iPhone! This was reported to the hotel manager who said he would take action but he never did anything and we couldn’t use the gym or pool again the remainder of our stay there! Complaints were made in writing to the tour operator, who issued compensation, but the hotel and its abysmal staff lied and tried to lay blame on us as guests! Truly shocking and I hope people are aware of everything before considering staying here! We felt unsafe, from outside people who walked in without any security checks, and also unsafe from the staff as the manager invited his friends over to watch football, who all made threats to us! The hotel is very tired, located on a dark and unsafe side street, with horrible staff, disgusting inedible food, smelly unclean rooms, and bathrooms etc that don’t work! My stay in Jordan was marred by this hotel and it’s staff, but we managed to salvage the experience with better safer hotels the remainder of our stay.
