Quality Inn & Suites Ames Conference Center Near Isu Campus ★★
"Nice hotel facilities"
Gateway Hotel and Conference Center ★★★
"As Iowa State alumni, the building made us feel like we were on campus. For an affordable rate, we enjoyed our stay more than the average hotel at a similar price point. This hotel offers a pool, hot tub and jacuzzi. Even though the facilities seemed a bit dated, we felt they were clean and enjoyed them greatly. The room was not so exciting but it seemed clean. I appreciated the lighting, including dimmers for night lights in the bedroom and bathroom. We tried the IowaStater in-house restaurant for breakfast. If you’re looking for a Midwest breakfast with all of the staples, they served us a memorable omelet with some of the best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had. All of the staff we met were kind and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to be close to campus."
Courtyard Ames ★★★
"I stayed with my family for the second time in this hotel. It's really very comfortable and very clean. I think it's the best hotel in the region. Thanks."
Spark by Hilton Ames ★★★
"The rooms were just remodeled so they were clean but there was working going on the main floor which wasn’t clean. The gym was closed so that was an inconvenience for me. Also, we had to be escorted to our rooms because the key system wasn’t working yet from the remodeling. All of this and the place didn’t provide any accommodations for the inconveniences."
Red Roof Inn Ames ★★
"First couple days were great, however on our last day we wanted to stay another night but they couldn’t find us in their system, so the employee said I could just stay and when his boss woke up he would come down and fix it. He also told me I could stay pass check in since we were waiting for the boss. Fast forward a couple hours boss was still not up yet so I decided to cancel reservation on my phone since it wasn’t showing in their system anyways. I got my stuff out and planned to go to another hotel and an hour later the boss called me, sounded incredibly disrespectful saying if I was planning to leave I shouldn’t have stayed past check out (11) I proceeded to tell him his employee couldn’t figure it out and that we waited a few hours for him so then I finally cancelled. He still continued to talk rude to me saying I didn’t have the right to stay and I told him his employee was the one who told me to wait and stay longer. Overall cleanliness was good, rooms were nice, but whoever the boss is, needs to either learn how to start talking with respect, or give his employees a lecture on the dos and don’ts."
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ames ★★
"Es war ein OK Hotel. Als wir ins Zimmer kamen, war das Zimmer sehr feuchte und die Blätter waren wegen der Feuchtigkeit nass. Das Frühstück war nur ein kontinentales Frühstück war nicht wert der Preisunterschied."
Iowa House ★★★
"Nicht ein Standardhotel, sondern ein Volkshaus."
TownePlace Suites Ames ★★★
"Great staff and very friendly."
Sleep Inn & Suites Ames Near Isu Campus ★★
"WiFi funktionierte nicht. Ich konnte das Wi-Fi nicht während der ganzen sechs Tage benutzen, die ich dort war."

Holiday Inn Express & Suites AMES by IHG
"Sehr komfortabeles Hotel. Ich möchte es nächstes Mal wieder verwenden."
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Ames, IA
Fairfield Inn & Suites Ames
"A very normal hotel in the United States. The room is normal without too many fancy items. It just provides a comfortable environment for a good night's sleep. The bed is 1.8 meters long and very comfortable. There is a big difference with domestic hotels. The same group and the same brand, the difference between domestic and foreign hotels is huge. Chinese people always say how bad domestic star hotels are, how the supporting facilities are not perfect, the breakfast is not rich enough, etc. I have a chance to see what you will criticize after staying here."
Baymont by Ames
"Last minute reservation, no frills but has comfy beds, and had waffles for breakfast which is really all I needed … their pool was not open."
Hampton Inn & Suites Ames
"Das Zimmer ist sauber, es mag die Badewanne nicht schlafen. Es ist einfach zu bedienen. Das Bett ist sehr komfortabel und mag es sehr, wenn man unter dem Kleid gekleidet wird, anstatt die Form des Listen-Schlauchs"
Days Inn by Wyndham Ames
"Gut zu bleiben das Haus war großartig"
Hilton Garden Inn Ames
"The room is clean and tidy, the environment is good, the service attitude is good"
GrandStay Hotel & Suites Ames
"I booked this hotel for 3 nights and i didn’t have room service any of nights. When i asked they said they did come and cleaned my room but the truth is they lied. When i forced them they replied they saw DND card on my door. I only pit DND card for the first night cause i was too tired then never put back. Horrible receptionist, his temper was too bad. In one time he started to smacking the table with his hands. This hotel employees are liar and horrible with service. Never again."
Loya's Little House Bed & Breakfast
"Loya's Little House was an absolute gem in Iowa! The atmosphere is peaceful and the story of the house is interesting too. We stayed in Loya's room, and it is very comfortable and quiet. But the best part of all was the breakfast the next morning, it is like eating in a 5-star restaurant."
