My family stayed at this hotel for spring break and let me tell you it was AMAZING!!! Upon check in there was a hiccup and after it was addressed by upper management, our stay was flawless for the rest of the week. First off the grounds are STUNNING and very well maintained. The hotel is a little further from the city but we enjoyed that because whenever we wanted to go into town it was a quick uber ride away. The pools were amazing! We were here 7 days and we did not want to leave! The breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning, the spa was relaxing and my massage was wonderful. We had dinner on property one of our nights and the live music was a nice touch and food here was top notch as well. Drinks at the bar were great-we had a ”date night” here to celebrate our anniversary and the staff assisted my husband with surprising me with lovely roses and fine chocolates. I'm giving the hotel 5 stars because not only is it truly a luxury experience, but their staff is incredible, Isaac is GEM!!!! He literally checked on my family EVERY single day. He turned my stay into one of the best vacations I've ever had (and I travel...OFTEN, all over the world). He was warm, genuine and PROFESSIONAL! He is the reason that I will return to this property during our next visit to Panama, because we will be back! Thank you Santa Maria for a wonderful vacation and thank you Isaac for EVERYTHING!!! The visit started right: My plane was way early, so I sat in the lobby; the desk clerk later brought my room key to me. I love hotel breakfasts that don't have only typical US eggs, etc... this one had that but also had platanos fritos, rice and beans, and more. It was all delicious. The problems were in my room. The most irritating were three notices (see photos) warning me that I'd be charged for various things -- for instance, bringing a towel from the pool to my room or taking the iron home with me. (I expect that at a cheap hotel, not at one of the top hotels in Panama City.) The tall window had a crack from top to bottom, which made me nervous that the high wind during the thunderstorm might break it... probably not, but even an obvious patch would have been better than (apparently) nothing.

Wifi funktionierte sehr gut. Sehr freundliches Personal. Mein Hauptgrund für 3 Starts ist, dass dieses Hotel sich als Anschluss an Planet 21, (Link zu Accor Planet 21 entfernte Website ), bedeutet unter anderem, dass sie Lebensmittelabfälle verringern. Guck mal die Bilder hier an und du wirst sehen, dass ein kleiner Teil der Gelee in einer Kunststoff-Tasse ist, die Aprikosenschale ist in Kunststoff, das Butter ist in Kunststoff, und der Juggurt auch. Das dritte Bild zeigt Ihnen die Abfälle nach dem Frühstück ... Ich weiß, ich habe einen süßen Zahn ;) So, nicht wirklich Planet 21 ...

Ich hatte hier eine sehr gemischte Erfahrung. Als ich zuerst dorthin kam, bewegte ich mich zu 4 verschiedenen Zimmern, weil in jedem Zimmer etwas anderes gebrochen oder absonderte. Es wurde fast komisch zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt. Es scheint, als würden sie einfach nicht die Zeit nehmen, um die Probleme in den Zimmern zu beheben. Das Zimmer war schön und geräumig und das Bett war sehr komfortabel. Es war keine schreckliche Erfahrung, und der Preis war gut, aber das wäre nie meine erste Wahl.

Service: The customer service was very good! All the individuals were very warm and courteous, especially the staff at the kitchen in the mornings. Breakfast : The breakfast was very good. There were many items to choose from. They also tried to switch up the different food items/options daily. Location: The hotel is a little distant from the Tocumen airport, maybe about 20-30 minutes drive. The hotel is right beside a KFC. There are a few restaurants and a bar nearby as well. Taxis are easy to get at the hotel. Depending on your destination, fare is from 5USD up. Casco Viejo is about 15 minutes away. Amenities: I didn’t really love the amenities. They were no toothbrush/toothpaste provided and other common things that I expected as it relates to amenities. Birthday: It was my spouse’s birthday and we went out and came back and saw that the hotel left a delicious slice of cake, fruits and a letter on our table for my spouse. THANK YOU!!!!😊😊😊😊😊 The hotel was clean. The lobby area is great for photos. The check in process was smooth. The pool has a bar and restaurant with reasonable prices! We enjoyed our stay 😊😊😊

1) Die ersten 3 Nächte, der Pool wurde für Renovierung geschlossen. Rezeption sagte: ”Kein Pool verfügbar”. Nur das, dachte ich, der Pool war komplett geschlossen. Am letzten Tag sah ich, die Gäste waren schwimmen. Ich fragte die Rezeption. ”Ja, du kannst schwimmen”. Warum konnte uns die Rezeption nicht nur 3 Tage geschlossen informieren? 2) Keine Handtücher nach Reinigung. Auch die ersten 3 Nächte. Ich dachte, das saubere Team vergaß es zu verlassen, aber es war nicht vergessen, aber nicht bereit. Handtücher wurden um 19:00 Uhr zu den ersten 3 Nächten geliefert. Ich rief jeden Abend die Rezeption an und sagten: ”Wir informieren das verantwortliche Personal” und warten Stunden. Warum hat die Rezeption nicht antwortet: ”Heute werden Handtücher um 19:00 Uhr geliefert” oder uns zu Verzögerungen bei der Lieferung im Voraus angeraten? Dann musste ich nicht jeden Tag die Rezeption anrufen. Jedoch musste ich warten, bis 19:00 Uhr zu duschen. Am Freien war es 30 Grad, und ich wollte sofort eine Dusche nehmen. 3) Schwaches WIFI. WIFI bei der Rezeption war mit 96 Mbps, aber Zimmer an der Tür war 14 Mbps und im Bett, Kein Signal mehr. Auf dem Desk auch 2 Mbps oder kein Signal. Es ist unmöglich, Streaming wie Netflix oder Web-Treffen zu sehen. Auch kein intelligentes TV. 4) Mein Zimmerkartenschlüssel wurde jeden Tag nicht mehr funktioniert. Ich musste nach Rückkehr zum Hotel zu der Rezeption gehen (Der Aufzug arbeitet mit einem gültigen Zimmerkartenschlüssel). Wenn keine Gäste an der Rezeption sind, dauert es bald, aber eines Tages war eine große Gruppe da, und ich musste mehr als 10 Minuten warten. Ich hatte eine Nahrung abnehmen, und es war nicht warmer, als ich wieder ins Zimmer war. 5) Sie baten mich um eine Vorauszahlung, auch Flexibilitätsreservierung. Sie brauchen Bargeld? 6) Kein Kühlschrank in einem Zimmer.

The most outstanding part of our experience at this hotel was the customer service. I believe that it is not the absence of problems that make an establishment great, rather the ability to address them in a professional manner that is impressive. We had a number of issues. First, we were assigned to the wrong room but that was changed within minutes. The lamp didn't work and that was fixed quickly. There was a musty smell in our room from the high humidity but that was addressed by giving us a dehumidifier. The toilet stopped working and that was fixed within minutes. Every single employee was courteous, kind and helpful. The atmosphere was very positive. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Our room was cleaned every day and we had a great relationship with the housekeeper. The only thing that was worrisome was that the phone in our room did not work and they were not able to have it repaired during our stay but I believe this was out of the control of the hotel. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel. I am a terrible sleeper when I travel and I slept well every night. Our experience may have been unusual with some of the problems. I would only recommend that a room is checked thoroughly to make sure everything is working well before guests check in. However, this did not negatively impact our stay. We absolutely loved this hotel. The people make it great! The only thing I didn't like was the terrible odour from garbage I think, that was a deterrent for us to be outside at the pool. We rented an apartment style suite. There is a grocery store a short walk away and the hotel has a laundry room at no charge.
