Ich genossen wirklich meinen Aufenthalt in Las Camelia. Das Front Desk war sehr hilfreich und freundlich und sie boten erfreuliche Kaffee und filtriertes Wasser im Hotellobby. Dies ist großartig, weil Sie nicht das Tappewasser in Guatemala trinken sollten. Das Hotel war auch gut gelegen und wandelnd von allem entfernt. Antigua als Ganzes sehr wandelbar. Das Hotel verfügt über einen offenen, aufgestellten Patio mit Blick auf die Vulkane und das Zimmer, in dem ich geblieben war, war sehr sauber mit einer wunderschönen großen Dusche. Das Front Desk half mir, ein Fahrzeug zu buchen, um zum See Atitlan zu kommen und sogar einem Kollegen von mir, der nicht ein Bewohner des Hotels war, geholfen. Ich mochte auch die Menge an Grünland im Hotel. Es fügte einen schönen Charme hinzu. Nur ein kleiner Unterteil war ein wenig spitze WiFi im Zimmer und die Wände sind ein wenig dünn, so können Sie hier einige externe Klang. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel für Personen, die auf Budget reisen, um eine saubere, komfortable und gut ausgestattete Apaze suchen.

Beautiful colonial hotel in a fantastic location in Antigua, it has a beautiful rooftop with a great view of the city with the added feature of the “I love Antigua” sign. In the rooftop you can go for drinks, a romantic date or simply grab a bite. The room was big, comfortable and kudos to the renovated bathrooms with a great shower. Everyone was very nice, overall great experience

I stayed here 5 nights. Rooms in this hotel are very different depending on their location in the hotel. The first 2 nights I stayed in two different rooms in the same area where there is a smaller courtyard. These rooms were dark, moisty, and smelly. Beds were hard like a rock. I was also itchy and then I noticed there were small red ants in the room. I could not sleep at night. Wi-Fi connection in these rooms was poor. Per my request, they moved me to a room that was located in the courtyard located just when you enter the hotel. That room was larger and brighter, as it had two windows. It was not as moisty. However, bed in this room was still as hard as in other rooms. Also, walls were very thin, and I could hear all the noises coming from the neighboring room. This hotel has a good location. However, I stayed in much better hotels in Antigua that also have a great location. I recommend not to pay the rate that includes breakfast. The price difference is significant. They don’t explain it to you but... If breakfast is included in your rate, then you have only about 7 different choices on menus that are not good and not worth what you pay. These choices do not include bacon or sausage. If you want a slice of bacon or a piece of sausage, you will be asked to pay extra. The breakfast that I order was not tasty. It included scrambled eggs, piece of bread, and a small cup of weak coffee. There was only space left for me to sit inside the restaurant The tables outside were occupied. The restaurant was dark, moisty, messy, and unappealing. Immediately I asked to switch to charge me a rate that do not include breakfast. The difference was about $20 per night. You will be able to get a great breakfast for less in restaurants located close to the hotel. You will even have a choice to try different restaurants each day of your stay. To summarize, I do not recommend staying here. You can find way better and less expensive hotels in Antigua. Most rooms in this hotel are dark, moisty, and smelly. Some rooms have small red ants and you’ll be itchy. Wi-Fi connection can be very poor inside the rooms. Beds are hard as a rock; you will not be able to sleep. Rooms have thin walls and you’ll be able to hear guests in the neighboring rooms. Breakfast included in the room rate is poor and overpriced. You can find better hotels with great location in Antigua.
