Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel

Amalfi|0.47km vom Stadtzentrum

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for 5 nights. We had one of the renovated suites: Jr Suite with Terrace ( Room 3) . What a wonderful experience! From the super bright room, staff, service, food. We’ve arranged all transportations with the concierge including day tours: 1 full day private car to Ravello and to a winery tour, And 1 full day private boat tour to Capri, Nerano, Positano and near by swimming areas. This hotel had so many pluses: Transportation to Amalfi town there and back almost all day. You can swim in their ocean and they provide floaties and noddles. The service by the pool is very quick and attentive. • Lunch at their restaurant has very healthy choices and a refreshing view under all the pergola full of local flowers and plants. • The Gym although is small it has all the necessary equipment and refreshers for a full workout. • You can hike/walk to Amalfi in 15 minutes or less. Make sure you ask about which way to take to avoid walking on the road, we saw some people doing it and there's an alternative path. • Provided steamer for our garments & Dyson hair dryer • Full turn down service each night • King size Bed was so comfortable • Concierge was supper helpful when needed options for sightseeing or shopping. • Every morning like everyone else is commenting in the reviews, we had a delicious breakfast full of pastries, fruits, yogurts, full of options. And we were serenaded by a piano player. Erika in specific was very attentive and provided about insight about the local sites, restaurants, etc. • The view from our balcony was spectacular, we could see Amalfi town, and the ocean and the several private super yachts anchor near us. Thank you Amalfi team you were amazing!!! Can't wait to be back

Grand Hotel Sant'Orsola

Amalfi|3.19km vom Stadtzentrum

Hotel Residence

Amalfi|0.02km vom Stadtzentrum
Myself and my boyfriend stayed at Hotel Residence for 10 days and we would definitely come back if we are ever traveling to the Amalfi coast again. Room - The room was great, however, this is the only area where, if I would ask for anything to be improved, it would be this. When we first checked in we were given the wrong room as we requested a room with a bath tub. This was a honest mistake by the staff and we were given the room we asked for the next day. However, the air con system was broken in the room. We complained about this and was assured a maintenance man would be sent to fix it the following day. In the meantime we were given another room for the night which had air con. When the air con was fixed in our original room it then broke again which meant the hotel provided us with fans and replaced the whole unit itself. Once this was done it worked perfectly, but obviously the constant moving about and heat was a little frustrating. The hotel compensated us for this inconvenience and we were very grateful for their generosity. The room itself was beautiful. The bath tub with jets was great but very powerful! The curtains completely blocked out any sun and the room was cleaned every day. The balcony was lovely for picture taking and people watching. Location - the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Right in the hussle and bussle of the town. The bus stop to Ravello is literally opposite the hotel and the stop for Positano and Sorrento is a little further down. The shop to buy the tickets for the bus is conveniently next door to the hotel which is also where we brought snacks and drinks. Service - the service in the hotel is absolutely superb. Every member of staff is so polite and helpful. The only thing they ask is no hot food being brought inside the hotel and that you leave your key at reception whenever you go out which was no bother to us. My boyfriend actually proposed to me on the trip and he organized a bottle of Prosecco and a fruit bowl to be in the room the night of the proposal. The hotel staff also gave us a bottle of Prosecco when we had issues with the air con which was very generous. They also helped us find out how to buy bus and ferry tickets when we asked. Breakfast - lastly the breakfast. Breakfast was included in our stay however we did not have any other meal at the hotel like the dinner as it was quite expensive for us and not what we preferred to eat. There’s lot of great alternatives in the amalfi town instead. However, the breakfast was absolutely amazing. It’s served in the restaurant 7-10 each morning and you order from a slip what you would like. I had the English breakfast and occasionally the pancakes which were amazing! You’re also given croissants on the table and water and can order whichever hot drink you’d prefer. We really enjoyed the breakfast and thought the variety was great. Overall, we would definitely come back and we absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Residence!

Hotel Amalfi

We stayed at Hotel Amalfi from the 7th to 9th October 2022. We received an email through our booking site Expedia, extract: “We can suggest you to park, however, in the Amalfi public parkings – Luna Rossa and Berma Portuale – cost € 35,00 per day, requesting long stay We also can suggest you to park in the port of Salerno “Piazza della Concordia” and the catch the ferry to Amalfi. Is very important to not enter in the historical centre with the car without authorization because is pedestrian area and you can have a penalty” We followed the suggestion to park in the unmanned parking lot Berma Portuale on the western side of the harbor. We spend the two nights in the hotel, nice room with balcony and not so fantastic views, but an okay experience. As we checked out from the parking lot after a little less than 2 days, the bill was 213 Euros and not the expected 2 x 35 = 70 Euros, which is already a very high price. We could not get in contact with anyone and in order to get the car out we paid the “fine”. I find the hotel is responsible for the information sent and requests the difference to be returned to me. If the parking authorities of Amalfi can not handle the correct payment, you should make sure to change the message sent to all Expedia clients, that they should not park in Berma Portuale, if that is really the case. The hotel has not replied on the notes listed above and probably don't care. I suppose the recommendation of using the parking lot in the harbour is still sent out to customers, so please make sure you park somewhere else...

Ich war vom 7. auf den 8. Oktober Gast in diesem Hotel.

Villa Orleans

Amalfi|1.35km vom Stadtzentrum
Our host geraldo greeted us on our arrival as we were slightly unsure where exactly the entrance to the villa was located. He was an excellent Host through out our 5 night stay and he carried out luggage on our way down to the villa ( there are quite a few steps from the main road) whilst explaining to us about the various facilities the villa has to offer. The surrounding area is very quiet and secluded while offering stunning views of the coastline and the sea. We arrived at our room and we instantly fell in love with our balcony view on the terrace, the room itself was spotless and had a modern sleek design. Breakfast was on offer between 8 and 10am and you have a choice between cereal, eggs, pastures, yoghurts and fruit and an Italian style breakfast (I had this most of the time, it consists of parma ham, salami, brown bread, tomatoes , ricotta and mozzarella, highly recommend) of course you also have a choice of drinks from juice to coffee. Geraldo made our stay very pleasant and was very warm and friendly throughout , giving us travel tips and assistance for getting around Amalfi and even offering his own supply of bus tickets when we were in need of some help. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on our balcony and the main terrace area which we used on the evenings as we were out exploring most of the day. We also bought some takeaway pizza and a bottle of wine from Amalfi and brought this back to our room to enjoy on our balcony and you are more than welcome to help yourself to any cutlery / plates from the breakfast area to use in your room as the door is left unlocked for access when you need it. I highly recommend Villa Orleans should you wish to stay in Amalfi. It is only a 20 minute walk or a 10 minute bus ride to the centre of Amalfi. The views are second to none and you will most definitely enjoy your stay there. Thank you geraldo for making our stay one to remember 🙌👍😁

Stayed here 6 nights. Wonderful accommodation. Maria is a sweetheart and makes a good breakfast. Rooms are clean, small and in close proximity to each other so this is NOT a hotel for babies, children, pets or loud guests. (Highly recommend families book an Airbnb when staying in Amalfi coast out of respect to other travelers)
