Beste Hotels mit Bar in Alvor

Nach zwanzig Jahren wieder einmal hier. Und wieder hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. In Teilen fühlt man sich an die Neunzigerjahre erinnert - für uns macht das einen Teil des Charmes aus. Der Fahrstuhl zum Strand immer noch ein Highlight. Der Blick auf die Bucht großartig. Meerblick zu buchen lohnt sich sehr.

Das Zimmer war angenehm sauber, ausgestattet mit einem Balkon und einer Klimaanlage. Genau wie gebucht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war üppig aber leider ziemlich überfüllt. Es lohnt sich hier etwas früher aufzustehen. Das Buffet am Abend war 4 von 7 Abenden gut. Es gibt verschiedene Mottoabende, die man jedoch ohne nachzusehen nicht ohne weiteres erkennen konnte. Besonders gut war der italienische Abend. Der Pool und die Möglichkeiten für Snacks und Getränke waren gut. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die Pina Colada. Es gibt einen direkten Zugang zum Meer. Achtung die Liegen und Schirme sind im Privatbesitz und es wird hier 18 Euro verlangt, falls man diese nutzen möchte. Einzige Beanstandung ist der Service beim Mittagessen. Hier war das Personal leider etwas unterbesetzt, sodass man für eine Pizza gut und gerne mal eine Stunde warten musste. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem ein guter und empfehlenswerter Urlaub an der schönen Algarve.

Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und die Reinigung sehr gut. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und ansprechend. Essen in den reservierungspflichtigen Restaurants ist gut. Im carosello empfehlen wir die Pizza vom steinigen. Das Roastic serviert sehr gute Steaks. Im Hauptrestaurant mit buffet sind die Thementage gut umgesetzt. Manchmal ist allerdings das Essen nicht mehr ganz heiß - eher lauwarm. Das Frühstück hat eine sehr große Auswahl an allem, was man sich vorstellen kann. Nach dem dritten Tag fällt die Bedienenung der Kaffeemaschine dann auch leichter. :) In den Stoßzeiten ist temporär das auf- und abdecken verzögert. Der Service an den Bars ist gut. Die Barkeeper*innen gehen auf Wünsche ein und sind sehr bemüht. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns hier Reza an der shore bar! Was sich hier definitiv anbietet ist ein Mietauto zu nehmen und die Algave weiter zu erkunden.

Enttäuschend !!! Für 5 Sterne leider viele Baustellen… Für Dezember mit wenig Gästen wenig einladend, Personal unqualifiziert Golfplatz gut, Zimmer gut, Frühstück gut, aber für 5-Sterne nicht ausreichend Rezeption ohne Motivation, Sauna nicht funktionsfähig Preise viel zu teuer; der Höhepunkt: 1 Pasteis de Natal für 3 Euro ; gibts in vielen Hotels kostenlos

Lovely hotel, very clean and super friendly and welcoming staff. All staff were EXCELLENT, so huge thankful to all. Great location and easy walking distance to the main streets. It felt super clean and rooms were cleaned daily and always came in after a long day to a clean room, so thank you! Only downside were the size of the rooms, they were on the smaller size and the balcony was very thin in width, wasn’t the best for sitting out in an evening if I m honest. The view of the car park wasn’t the best either as we were at the back of the hotel, and not the views we were expecting but again this was only minor. Overall a great hotel, great location and friendly staff.

This was our second stay at The Pelican. It has a lot going for it but a couple of minor issues. The location was great for us, a 15 minute walk to Alvor, under 10 minutes to the Pingo supermarket and 5 minutes from The Jolly (a pub we made our own and knew the owner from last year). The reception and bar staff in Pelican were excellent and very friendly. The food in the bar was good and reasonably priced. The room was the same as last year and an excellent size, a TV you can swivel round to watch in bed and an excellent little kitchen with everything we needed. Our issues were with the quality of the daily cleaning, it was poor. The floor wasn't mopped and our feet ended up filthy (which then gets transferred to the bed) or in my case had white socks that were black underneath. There was a general lack of care which was a real shame as the main areas of the hotel were constantly cleaned. Also our bin under the sink wasn't emptied at least 3 times and we took to leaving the rubbish bag out to ensure it was taken. This year there was entertainment from 5 until 7 one evening on the terrace, this was well received and maybe the management should do more of this in future. The hotel WiFi was patchy at best and our phones kept being disconnected. The pool area is pretty good but could do with a bit of TLC, too often we struggled to get a lounger while others were ”reserved” by people who never returned for 2 to 3 hours. A few more loungers wouldn't go amiss or a regular check to remove towels when the loungers aren't used for long periods. We will definitely return if the standard of cleaning improves as this is an excellent hotel with bags of potential and friendly staff.

Es war ein kurzer Aufenthalt, aber ich werde ohne Zweifel mit mehr Tagen wiederholen, dieses Hotel empfehle ich allen Arten von Gästen, insbesondere Familien mit Kindern. Die Show des Swimmingpools auf dem Sims, die Kellner aufmerksam auf alles, na ja, es gibt nichts negatives.

This was one of the best holiday apartments I've ever stayed in! Everything was perfect. The location in Alvor couldn't be better. For us it was perfect as we're not really beach people and these apartments are in the middle of the town but we did walk to the beach a couple of times and it's just a 10-15 min walk away. Lively bars and restaurants literally on our doorstep even though we were on a quiet side street. Exceptionally well equipped rooms, absolutely everything you'd need. Immaculately clean and cleaned daily. Nice balcony overlooking the small but perfect pool for the size of the complex. Sea view nice too and beautiful views from the huge roof terrace with even more sunbeds and lounging soft seated areas. Friendly staff throughout. We hope to return next year and already looking forward to it!
