The hotel is unique in the sense of its authentics and simplicity. Rustic on the outside but functional on the inside. Room was clean and comes with all basic toiletries needed. It also has a swimming pool. Location was near many cafes and food outlets within walking distance. Recommended for those young at heart.

Great location, superb variety of food available just below the hotel. Staff are so - so. They should at least put a sign where is the lift hotel, reception area as it all compact in one area with the shop lot. Otherwise great staycation 👍🏻

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this homestay. The accommodation itself was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated that made us feel right at home. The room had everything we needed, including a comfortable dining table, bedding, hairdryer, heaters, Wi-Fi, and most importantly, excellent water pressure! The location was ideal, with food stalls and convenient stores nearby. We also felt very safe with its security door. The only minor point for improvement was that there were no extra keys provided for our family of six, which made it a bit challenging at times. Overall, we highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful, hassle-free place to stay. It was an unforgettable experience, and we would love to return!

Ein wenig datiert Zimmer und Badezimmer für 3 Nächte, wo der TV nicht funktionieren sie bieten Frühstücksbuffet ein einfaches, aber smackvoll. Was ich wirklich mag ist das Klimaanlage... I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Star City Hotel in Alor Setar, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. My room was spotless and well-maintained, and the food was absolutely delicious. The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot, with easy access to shopping malls and popular tourist attractions. Overall, my experience at Star City Hotel was superb, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Alor Setar.

Ich habe in meinem Zimmer Wasser gespült, und wichtiger ist die Isolierung von Ton super schlecht. Die Autos und Motorräder auf der Straße haben mich fast eine Nacht nicht gut geschlafen, der Rest ist nicht gut.
