Konstantina Studios

We stayed at Konstantina's for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. Her studios are in the old village in Alonnisos, a fabulous spot with views all over the island and loads of cafes, restaurants and tavernas. Although in the old village, the studios were rebuilt so they have spacious modern rooms with nice bathrooms. The rooms have large balconies with views over the sea. Konstantina was a fabulous host, picking us up and dropping us off at the ferry, and serving wonderful breakfasts. Will definitely be back.

Konstantina met us off the ferry and gave us plenty of useful information on the way up to Hora. The studio was clean, smart and well equipped. The balcony was large and private. The shower was excellent and the bed very comfortable. The peace and quiet and the ever changing view breathtaking.

Another fabulous stay at Konstantina’s! We have been many times. Konstantina is a fabulous host and someone we now class as a dear friend. The studios are amazing with the most comfortable beds and we always include the breakfast option, which is a real treat with a view to die for! We would highly recommend a stay at Konstantina Studios in the Old Town.

What a beautiful peaceful setting. Views from our balcony were amazing. Fully equipped for self catering. Konstantina was the most sweet kind lady who would do anything for you. Set right on the edge of the old town. Perfect. Definitely recommend.

We were collected from the port by our host and taken to the accommodation, where were reminded that we were self catering and there would be no option to take breakfast - contrary to what was stated by Jet2 holidays upon booking. We had booked a standard studio as this was the only option available upon booking, although there was only ever one other studio occupied through out our stay. The studio was tiny, more of a bedroom with a fridge and two ring hob squeezed in with nowhere to sit other than on the bed. We were told the main light in the bathroom was not working and could/would not be fixed for the duration of our stay (7days), there was a dim wall light in there but with no window either this was not ideal for shaving etc. We were also told that the room would not be services for two day as the person who normally did this had gone away to a wedding, not ideal when in a country where toilet paper can not be flushed and must be placed in a bid, if spare bin liners had been left we would have disposed of the rubbish ourselves. The only other time we saw our host was when she came to collect us for departure, she asked about our stay and we mentioned the couple of issues to which she responded 'well I just cross myself every day and be thankful & grateful for what I have' Good ethos for life, but would question if this ethos should be applied to running a business.

Very well equipped studios with amazing panoramic views across the sea to neighbouring islands. Konstantina gives a comprehensive briefing on local facilities, walks, beaches and tavernas. She is an excellent host who really wants you to get the most from the island. Rooms are spacious and light. Shower powerful. Beds very comfortable. Situated centrally for the village, overlooking a peaceful valley where we saw bee-eaters and yellow orioles after heavy rain. A perfect spot.
