Had a bad experience with the front desk of this otherwise decent property. The front desk staff is extremely rude and acts as if they are doing you a favour by providing you a room. Extraordinary airs, you have to wait even when they are standing and doing nothing while waiting to check in.. No one available to even carry your luggage down the stairs to the reception which is a flight of tricky stairs down. I had to leave my suitcase on the stairs unattended while I went down to the reception where the front desk attendant made me wait 20 mins to check in on the premise that he is attending to other guests. The other guests had checked in and their luggage was being transported to their rooms and the front desk person was free. This was during my stay in between 4-5th March’25. Considering I am a solo woman traveller, i wanted to go with a familiar place and hence I tried booking this property again for my return trip from Prayagraj from 7-8th March’25. I talked to the front desk, sent them an email, received confirmation of availability and also transferred the full room rent in the evening on 6th March’25. Subsequent to which I called up the front desk and asked them to confirm the receipt. I was informed after 5 hours of the payment transfer communication that the rooms are no longer available and i need to share my bank account details via a cancelled cheque to get a refund. I had transferred the full payment of the room via PhonePe to their official UPI Id . On requesting to return the amount.by the same means have been very rudely informed by their front office that you have to follow their procedures else forfeit the money. Some level of harassment this is. The least you can do while releasing a room booking is inform the customer and stop asking for unnecessary financial information. Please enjoy the Rs. 5500 I have paid into your accounts and haven’t availed any services against it.
