Hotel Kanha Shyam

While this property is not of the same standard as other branded luxury hotel chains in the country, it still manages to give its guests a comfortable experience. I travelled with my family to attend a wedding in the city and we chose this hotel as it seemed to be the only good hotel in Prayagraj. Our welcome was rather forgettable but our checkin was done quite quickly and we were given rooms on their highest floor. The room was otherwise comfortable and had all basic amenities. The view from the hotel is that of the city’s skyline - which was nothing impressive. We had lunch and breakfast at the patio all day dining restaurant of the hotel. Food options were plentiful but the quality and taste could be worked upon. The service of more experienced staff members was commendable. I would especially like to highlight the wonderful service we received from Mr. Indramani Singh at the patio restaurant and he made our breakfasts truly memorable. I must also appreciate the service of the housekeeping personnel on the 8th floor who kept the room pristinely clean. Overall, this is the best option in Prayagraj and you won’t regret staying here.

Hotel checkout procedure is very bad. We were standing at checkout desk today about 9:00 am. The employee started checking us out. In between some other person came and asked him to check him out. That employee left us in between and started checking him out before us. I felt that my business is not important for your hotel. In my opinion all hotel guests should be treated fair and equal. Beside that everything else was good.

The Hotel staff is perfect for Hospitality industry. Hospitality is in ingrained even in the cleaning staff. Service is prompt and personalized. Very good Location with ample Parking space. Spacious rooms that makes you cozy Highly Recommended.

Located at the heart of city.. the hotel is filled with many attributes.. Such an amazing hospitality and nice behaviour... This hotel is worthwhile when you look at their services.. One can enjoy cuisine with live music and quick service.. Five out of five

The hotel is very close to the station but in the posh civil lines area. The rooms are spacious and air conditioning good. The hotel has a big dining hall and the complimentary breakfast spread is also good. The reception desk is efficient and courteous.The hotel has an inherent tranquility which is welcome in the noisy hustle bustle of Allahabad city. The ambience is good and corridors & carpeting is impressive.Prayagraj does not have much good hotels to boast about but Kanha Shyam is a pride of the city.

Though I expect Hotel Kanha not to live upto its name and rather act as "'Kansa"' using rules as "'asurs"', I am still mailing since I have been specifically asked by your system generated algorithm which tells blatant lie in saying that "'we value your feedback '" I will not be wasting my energy in escalating and sharing the experience of running after you (Hotel) and makemytrip wherein both kept passing the buck on each other, Let it be understood that the only thing I have lost is some money and more importantly precious time, what you have lost is character - Hotel Taj and Hilton have more Kanha in both letter and spirit and Hotel Kanha is not worthy of its name
