Max Hotels Prayagraj

Hotel is very good. Service is extremely good. Chef Tarun thakur cooks nice non veg food. Ambience is peaceful. It's close to the railway station and auto service is available easily. WiFi is bit slow but it's manageable. It's maintained and kept clean.

**Traces of Human Hair and Insects in Hotel Food** This hotel is a disgrace to the holy city of Prayagraj, and I urge anyone thinking of staying here to reconsider. From the moment we arrived, there was no one to help with our luggage. We had to carry our own bags, and to make matters worse, the lift was out of order due to maintenance. If you have elderly people or a lot of luggage, get ready for a tiring climb to the second or third floor. The hotel does not allow outside food, and the in-house dining is very expensive. To make things worse, they add extra items to your bill and demand payment, saying the bill has already been generated. The food quality is terrible. I found human hair and bugs in the rice dishes. In colored dishes like Biryani and Pulao, it's hard to see, but in plain rice, it's clearly visible. When we asked for a complimentary water bottle, they charged ₹60. The tea served here is worse than what you get at a railway station. The staff is extremely rude and uneducated, behaving more like local goons than hotel employees. The manager claimed to be a practicing lawyer in Allahabad High Court and implied we couldn't complain and that the hotel didn't care about our issues. We booked through Goibibo and, having already paid, felt trapped. The treatment we received was humiliating, especially in front of our children and elderly parents. It was a terrible experience. For your peace of mind, I request everyone reading this to avoid this hotel at all costs. This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I deeply regret visiting Prayagraj and wish I had chosen a different place to stay.

Excellent food taste wise and variety wise and service was also very good were served by tarun thakur . Stay was comfortable as rooms are clean and well maintained and also lo ocation of hotel is very good and connectivity to the town is also great

The hotel is very customer oriented and the staff is very friendly. Especially Tarun Thakur is the head chef and the food is very amazing. Really enjoyed our entire stay, would highly recommend. Cheers to the whole team. The hotel has also and advantage of being adjacent to the railway station

Great location of the hotel from the railway station. It’s 2 mins walking distance. Enjoyed the vegetarian food of the restaurant. It was very tasty. Thanks to Tarun Thakur for his hospitality. The breakfast options were great. Lunch and dinner buffet was also good.

Food quality was good.. Restaurant ambience was good..Overall quality of food was very good..Chef Tarun Thakur and Srujan was very good and attentive in service and making food .. Must visit for dinner.. Specially soup n dal tadka was good..
