This delightful holiday home is set a few kilometres outside of Ålem, about an hours drive from Vimmerby. It was renovated in 2013.The cottage features a well-equipped kitchen with all of the amenities you need, including a dishwasher. In the living room theres a wood-burning stove which is perfect on a cold day. Out back, theres a large conservatory from which you get a great view of the garden. A narrow staircase takes you up to the attic where theres a double bed and two single beds. The ceiling of the attic is low, 180 centimetres in the middle of the room. Free WiFi and TV.Ålem is a beautiful place that offers interesting sights and activities. Why not pay a visit to the little sweets factory Råsnäs Konfektyrer in Timmernabben? Timmernabben is four kilometres from the cottage and also has a ceramics shop called Gabriel Keramik, where you can watch the potters at work. Theres also a smoke house that sells smoked fish, and a seafood restaurant. Theres also a sandy beach with bathing docks.If you are interested in glassware you must visit The Kingdom of Crystal in Kosta, one hour away by car. Kosta also has an elk park, for those who are interested in wildlife. Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgrens World is an hour away.Öland is 30 minutes away and offers an array of sights and activities. The castle of Borgholm is one example. Families with young children will enjoy Ölands Zoo with its animals and its water park. Greby Gokart is a lot of fun for children and it is about 10 kilometres from the house. Why not visit the 1,3 kilometres long beach in Köpingsvik? The northern part of it is adjusted to be suitable for the disabled and has a ramp.The medieval town of Kalmar, with the castle Kalmar Slott, is 20 minutes away from the cottage.
