We loved our stay here. We were greeted by a cheerful, helpful young lady who could not have been more welcoming, her name is Emma and a great asset to the hotel. Emma served us behind the bar, took our food order which she served as well with a big smile. The room was spacious, well equipped as was the bathroom. Both areas very clean and comfortable, decor slightly dated but remember this is a 16th century Inn with the benefits of 21st century expectations. Breakfast was served in a lovely restaurant and was delicious. We would recommend staying here. Thank you.

We were shown to our table for our afternoon tea, which was void of a table cloth. Every afternoon tea I’ve enjoyed at other venues always had a pristine white tablecloth. Furthermore, the table top was Formica and badly chipped. First impressions were poor. Our afternoon tea arrived along with our glass of Prosecco each. The sandwiches and cakes were average. The waitress asked us to let her know when we would like our pot of tea brought to us but when we were ready, there was not a single member of staff in sight so I had to go looking around the hotel in order to get someone to serve us. Would I recommend Angmering Manor for afternoon tea? Based on our experience - no! There are far better venues to go. I felt there were cost cutting measures in place which severely detracted from a positive experience. ☹️

My sister & I stayed at Angmering Manor for 2 days in mid August as my niece moved to Angmering village & we decided to pay her a visit. Part of the manor is circa 15th/16th century & the decor is in keeping. We had a twin room on the ground floor which was perfect as I’m not too fast on stairs. The actual room was clean, tidy & provided tea, coffee & biscuits. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. The shower was also clean with fresh towels & beautifully warm. We only stayed for breakfast (x2) as my niece had planned various outings but the breakfasts were plentiful & delicious. The staff are exceptionally kind be it the cleaners to the manager, all willing to help. Our stay was an absolute delight & we will be back.

We stayed here for a few nights whilst in the area. One of us had a higher spec/price rooms than the other and we have to say that it was hard to tell the difference. We had a meal in the hotel one night and afternoon tea in the secluded garden another day both of which were very nice. The main part of breakfast was nice and cooked to order, we were rather disappointed with the selection other items and especially the reaction when we asked if there was any honey available, which was just no. We enjoyed the pool, cannot comment on the other facilities as we did not use them. One of our rooms overlooked the front/carpark area of the hotel; the bin for smokers is positioned against the front wall of the property (recommendations are for it to be at least 2 metres from any building) with the inevitable result that the person in the room above it had smoke coming into the room several times. We did point this out and got a sympathetic response and a promise to move the bin - but it should have been obvious.

Staff have not got a clue regarding drinks ,politeness, awful place Rooms dated and tired overpriced more a 2star the garden is a disgrace very untidy,whole place needs upgrading . Avoid at all costs Try the lamb in angmering,staff and food ,rooms all fantastic

We went there for my wife's 90th birthday. My daughter was told when she booked it that they would do my wife proud - no way. The staff were unfriendly to the point of being rude. In the bar we were told that we had to be in the dining room by 7pm which we were but were ignored for 20 minutes until I asked if I could order some drinks !! The food, when it came was indifferent. Neither of the women who served us could bother to smile and they made no attempt to wish my wife "Happy Birthday" even though we had a 90 ballon on our table!. They shut the bar at 9.30 pm and pushed us and 2 other residents into a conference type room and looked the bar behind us. When I checked out I wasn't given a proper bill - the receptionist just shoved a card machine at me with an amount of money to pay, again no smile ! and there was no attempt to thank us for spending £330 for B&B for 2 plus dinner for 4. Don't go there!!

From the moment we arrived & were greeted by Kayleigh at reception , to lunch served by a lovely waitress ( sorry I’ve forgotten her name) on Tuesday 30th April . For our Mums 92nd Birthday , with her 4 daughters. We swam first & used the sauna, shower, all spotlessly clean. We had the pool to ourselves . Then lunch of 3 courses & all beautiful , tasty & hot . Delicious food . Followed by shared desserts . Service was great & our Mother had a great time. In a beautiful location. We will definitely return again. Thankyou for making it perfect.

Had a weekend here while visiting the area.Tired, outdated and in need of work. Bedroom furnishing needs updating especially hair dryer! Bed was comfortable except for wooden edge which hurt your legs when getting in and out. Dinner and breakfast were OK but generally the hotel is understaffed. Swimming pool was great and good temperature but adjoining corridor needed decorating. More could be made of the lovely garden

Wow. Incredibly expensive for what it is. One night cost us £170 for a room that looks like it may not have been updated since the 80s. Average hotel room. They even have one of those old-fashioned hair dryers in the bathroom. See photo attached!
