Me and my two friends have recently left this complex and I can tell you, it is the worst complex I have ever stayed in. We are a group of 3 girls in our twenties, and although we did not book this for the glitz and glam, we expected more than this. Just a pre warning, we read the reviews when we booked this hotel and they weren’t bad at all, and secondly, it wasn’t like it was a major cheap holiday, we paid nearly 2 grand in total to stay here for a week self catering, so bare that in mind. We arrived at the apartment at around 11am in the morning after an early flight. Upon arrival, we was met with an extremely rude reception lady who told us we can’t check into our rooms until 4pm. However, the receptionist did make us aware that the previous people staying in the apartment had left early so we was able to check in early. We were able to leave our suitcases in a locker and use the apartment facilities whilst we waited to check in. The pool area in the main apartment was nice, however there were no sunbeds available even by 11am so had to wait around for the sunbeds to be available. At around 2pm, we went to reception to see if there was an update on the room and the receptionist snapped at us and said no I said I will come find you. At 3;45pm, the receptionist came over to tell us our room was ready. She told us the apartment we were staying in, was not in the grounds itself, and that we had to walk to the apartment from the hotel. The apartment was down the road, then up the hill and took around 5 minutes to get to our block. We were in room 403, which was the top floor, so we went to the lift to take our cases up and the lift didn’t appear to work. A young man walked past and said the lift hadn’t worked all holiday so we would have to take the stairs. We had to climb up 59 steps with 3 x 20kg suitcases. The apartment itself was nice and big, and fairly clean. We went to turn the aircon on and couldn’t find out how. We rang reception to say we couldn’t work out how to use the aircon and that the lift wasn’t working. The rude receptionist told us we had to go back to reception to get the aircon remote, which will be a €20 deposit and that we had to wait 20 minutes for the turnover of staff and then she hung up the phone. We went to reception around 45 minutes later and a new lady was on the reception, who was equally as rude. We told her the lift wasn’t working and she said it is fixed, and we made her aware it wasn’t and then she changed the story to say it was going to be fixed. We paid the €20 for our aircon and got our remote. With regard to the location of the apartment, there is nothing around. Everything is about 20/25 minute walking difference so we got taxi’s to new town and old town, and also to LIDL/ALDI to do a food shop With us being self catering, we went to Aldi to do a food shop when we arrived. We got back to the apartment and put the oven on so we could cook our food that we had gotten, and after a while we noticed the oven
