PROXY Plus by The Oriental Pangasinan

Very clean, modern design, wonderful sea view

I stayed at Proxy Plus Pangasinan last November 13–15, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel’s high-end design truly complements the beauty of the Hundred Islands National Park. Its location is also a major advantage—situated right at the jump-off point for boat trips, making island-hopping very convenient. The rooms are well-appointed and the beds are comfortable, offering a relaxing place to unwind after a day of activities. However, I would recommend that the hotel consider installing proper door locks for the comfort room to ensure more privacy. My only major concern was the breakfast buffet management. We were informed that breakfast was available from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, but when we arrived at the restaurant around 8:00 AM, most of the food was already unavailable. There were no fruits, no bread, and even basic items like coffee creamers were missing. We ended up having only fried rice, eggs, and hotdogs. It would also help if the staff could remove or replace food tags when items are no longer available to avoid confusion. Overall, I hope the hotel can improve the consistency of their breakfast service, as it would greatly enhance the guest experience.
