As hostels go, this was actually nice. Yes… basic though spacious rooms with a reclining chair ( I reserved a private room ). Extremely reasonably priced for a private room with en suite bath. Bathroom was decent & good water pressure. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The gentlemen at the front counter were extremely polite and helpful. This is very centrally located in Alajuela, walking distance to most everything. The rooftop bar is delightful. Decent food, cold beer, good cocktails. Would not hesitate to stay again, if back I return to Alajuela Cheers Sas

Great place to spend a night close by the airport after the arrival and waiting for the next day transfer to the hotel, or while waiting for the flight when returning home. Literally five minutes from the airport... And the shuttle service they have is free. Rooms are basic and clean. There is a restaurant and a bar at the fourth floor. Was nice to see young people having fun... The first room we stayed in was facing the street, so there was some noise from the outside. The inside the building facing room was quiet. The staff was very friendly and the room price was great.

Stopped by this Hostel during a long flight connection to gtab a quick shower and nap. Took a private room. Had to let shower run for over 5 mins to get the hot water going. No shampoo in the room, only a small bar soap - which ******. Sheets had very large stains on them, to the point that not only did I not nap, but I didn't even want to put my clothes on the bed for a few seconds while packing. The place is stripped down and basic. Zero charm. Bad front desk service. Pretty depressing.
