This must be my 20th time here & it has now become my home from home with some extra sunshine! I’ve stayed with my partner, alone & with friends & everytime it is just wonderful. I’ve been coming here since 2018 & the team have become my 2nd family! The villa is just beautifully kept, the gardeners do a wonderful job ensuring the well manicured surroundings are always on point. Mo & Medhi are a credit to the villa & part of the reason we continue to return as often as we do. The food is another story, Soukaina & Hassna are so talented & be prepared to go home slightly heavier! You can truly feel the love put into every meal. And Mourad is just a truly lovely soul, he will ensure you get where you need to on time & safety whilst filling you in with lots of interesting info about the area. I could go on & on, the housekeepers, spa staff & security are just lovely hard working people. I promise you won’t be disappointed & yes it’s taken me all this time to write a review because I didn’t want to share my little secret hahaha!

The resort was excellent, immaculate, roomy, and well suited to our vacation requirements. It is a lovely and peaceful setting. The staff were on point, had great communication skills, were always cheerful, well-groomed, personable, and happy to assist at any time. Thank you so much to IIays, Mehdi, and Mahomed for your outstanding service. Delicious meals were delivered at convenient times that fit our schedules and demands

Absolutely incredible place to stay. 5 stars for the customer service most specifically from Eliyas, Mehdi and Mohammed - they made us feel so welcome and looked after; nothing was a problem. A lovely peaceful villa - rooms clean and breakfast was great. We will definitely be back - a big thank you to all staff. Rachael & Gemma.

Dar Sofil is by far the best 5* Hotel we have been. From the manager over the waiters, cook, housekeeping, driver - it has been an absolut pleasure. It’s a small hotel but has everything you could wish for!!! The pool, the food and privacy you experience is just great and exactly what we were looking for! We loved every minute and are already thinking of when we could come back!! Thank you for the great stay an we totally recommend this to anyone who needs a relaxing holidays where you just feel looked after in the best way!!

Exceptional 5* service throughout. We went for a short trip to celebrate my husband’s birthday and from the outset we were amazed by the incredible service from all the staff. Firstly we arrived a bit late as our flight was delayed but we had a full fresh dinner prepared for us on arrival (which was delicious!). The facilities and the rooms are excellent, Ilyas and his team were always available to help with any queries from transportation to visiting different places and restaurant recommendations. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back again!

Perfect to relax. Great service and a family 5 star hotel feeling. Local breakfast tasty and privately served on your terrace overlooking the pool. Large pool. Booked a couples hammam and massage and this was also great. Room very spacious and large bed. Will definately come back!

These private villas are simply beautiful, set around a sizeable and luxurious pool area and in keeping with the Morrocan style. Dar Sofil is a very peaceful 5* oasis just outside the hustle and bustle of Marrakech' Old Town, allowing the best of both worlds. We cannot emphasise enough how hospitable and helpful the staff were during our five night stay, especially the staff that waited on us the whole time. The delicious breakfast, rejuvenating Hamam Spa treatment, and access to a private driver to take us into the Old Town (at a discounted rate) each time were added features, which enhanced our experience. We would definitely return!

Dar Sofil is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Morocco if your main focus is to relax and decompress. My one and only goal when visiting was exactly that...to RELAX! The staff are attentive and very nice, they all speak English which is helpful but also French and some speak Arabic also (interestingly as I know more Arabic than I do French it seems) and the environment, gardens, pool and overall experience is high quality and well worth the money. Some disadvantages: - The food choices were very wetsernised which was frustraing. I like to taste locally foods and offerings of Hamburgers and Wraps annoyed me personally. - Breakfast consists of Tuna Pizza, Cake and Pancakes. An interesting combination and again not one favoured by me. I wanted to relax and detox and eat my usual healthy diet which was VERY difficult to do. There should be more healthy options available for sure. - 65 EUR for a massage and Hammam is expensive. I expected it to be high quality but sadly the value just isnt there. The lady who performed the Hammam was rushed and the Hammam was very weak and underwhelming. I have had tourist and local Hammams in the past and they have been the usual rough scrub and polish. This was weak and not worth investing into. However, food and spa experiences aside (oh and the fact we got in trouble for bringing our own bottled water into the hotel) it was a good experience and one I can reccomend.

This will be my 30th review on Tripadvisor. Some have been so so, some have been good and just a small amount have been excellent. This place goes right to the top of the list. If you want to experience both true 5 star luxury in an oasis of calm before the frenetic medina, which is about a fifteen car ride away, then you couldn't improve on this hotel. Firstly, my thanks to Selma and the rest of the people working at the Dar Sofil. They are exceptional, being extremely attentive, whilst not intrusive and nothing is too much trouble for them. They have a car that will pick you up at the airport and is available all day and evening to take you to wherever your going and pick you up. It's only a minimal charge, but extremely helpful. The hotel, which has only six bedrooms is very impressive both inside and out. As you walk into the building, you really get the full impact of the Marrakech experience. Four of the six rooms and terrace face onto the impressive pool and on your terrace is where you are served an amazing breakfast and any other meal you may have. We decided to eat in the hotel the night before we left, so after an amazing hamman & massage in the hotel (highly recommended) we had a meal that was one of the best we'd eaten all week. The rooms themselves are clean, comfortable and spacious. I could rave on more about this place, but all I would suggest is that you keep this place to yourself.
