Just returned from our 3rd stay @ Hotel Akumal Caribe ~ had a wonderful time. Loved our ground floor (deluxe kitchenette) room (406) just steps away from the pool & beach. Nothing better than waking up to the birds singing & enjoying a cup of coffee on our patio. You know your day is going to be a good one, when Juan (goundskeeper) greets you with a ”Hola, Buenos Dias” as he starts his day. But, then ALL the people employed @ this property are super friendly & make you feel like family each & everyday. Our room was cleaned by a very nice gentleman (forgot to get his name) always with a smile & a ”hope you are having a nice visit.” We had all our meals down by the Lolha ~ excellent food/drinks/service!! Big ups to Oscar, Willy, Rafael, Alberto, Jordy & the rest of the crew. Again, always service with a smile. Hotel Akumal Caribe & The Lolha are a perfect example of how a property/restaurant should be run & I'm sure other properties could learn a valuable lesson from them. Bei der Buchung war ich ein wenig unsicher, da einige der Bewertungen erwähnten, wie laut das Hotel sein kann. Das war nicht der Fall für uns (außer ein paar Nächte, als die Leute um 1 Uhr wieder in ihre Zimmer gingen). Wir blieben auf der Palms Seite und hatten einen ruhigen Raum beantragt. Wir hatten ein Problem mit der Mattress, als wir ankamen, das wir mit dem Hotel geteilt haben und sie haben das für uns sortiert. Infinity Pool ist ruhig am Morgen und wird höher von Mittag nach vorn. Die Palmen Seite genießen wirklich - wirklich kalt, viele Aktivitäten am Tag, schöner Strand, genügend Bars & einige Pools. Abendessen waren gut- der Buffet war nicht zu Standard in der Nacht, aber die asiatische , italienische & gourmet pub waren wirklich gut. Der Meeresmarkt ist groß für Frühstück. Der Außenbereich des Buffets (Pizzas) & Strand bbq ist gut für Mittagessen. Echte Standpunkte für mich in diesem Hotel waren die Mitarbeiter - so willkommen, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Tui Entertainment Team fab besonders Gee (die glücklichste Person, die Sie je treffen werden), danke für die Verbreitung Ihrer positiven Gee. Das Resort ist erstaunlich, vor allem der Strand, die Größe der Zimmer und die wunderschönen Leute, die wir dort getroffen haben. Die stille Disko Party war so lustig! Das einzige, was es noch besser machen würde, ist die Unterhaltung in der Nacht - es muss mehr zu tun ie Shows als Sänger und dj alle, aber eine / zwei Nächte ist ein bisschen wiederholt. Wir möchten allen Mitarbeitern für einen erstaunlichen Aufenthalt danken, wir haben es wirklich geliebt. Danke!

Nice Hotel at the beach. Not a good beach, a lot of rocks. Quit place. Youtube have to take a taxi from the Hotel, fixed price 500 pesos to tulum. Its very expencive. A bottle of water in the restaurant was 200 pesos, crazy!! Nice service. Varm drinks in the minibar, ask for ice bucket.

Ein kleines (12 Zimmer) und ruhiges Erwachsenenhotel, genau das Richtige für uns. Zumindest dachten wir das. Die Zuwegung zum Hotel führt 4km über eine unbefestigte Straße und eine Anmerkung, dass das Hotel dort zu finden ist, gibt es nicht. Allerdings wussten wir, welche Hotels in der Nähe sind und haben es deswegen gefunden. Der Empfang war nett, das Personal ist freundlich (kann aber wenig bis kaum englisch). Das Zimmer (teuerste Kategorie) wirkte auf den ersten Blick hübsch, zwar verwittert, aber das ist der Lage geschuldet. Der Strand (der wirklich winzig ist), ist total vermüllt. Und damit meine ich nicht das Seegras. Generell ist alles ungepflegt und Mülleimer sucht man in der Anlage vergeblich. Leider gibt es seit Tagen kein warmes Wasser, was ich bei 4* und einen Preis von 340€ durchaus erwarte. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, das Problem bestehe seit Tagen und man arbeite dran. Wohl eher immer und das Hotel weiß das auch sehr genau. Sollte mal warmes Wasser kommen, dann Tropfenweise und nur für Sekunden. Auch das ist dem Hotel sicher bekannt. Wir sind jetzt den 3. Tag hier, haben das Problem jeden Tag angesprochen und hören täglich neue Ausreden. Da wir gerne warm duschen wollen und einen sauberen Strand bevorzugen, wollten wir früher auschecken. Darauf kam sofort, dass es kein Geld zurück gibt (aber einen Gutschein für ein Abendessen). Als wir den Manager sprechen wollten, hieß es, dieser sei nur via WhatsApp zu erreichen. Sehr ”professionell und seriös”. Das dachten wir bereits, als die Unterkunft 2 Wochen vor der Anreise den kompletten Betrag abgebucht hat (jetzt wissen wir warum). Als meinem Mann der Geduldsfaden riss, konnten man plötzlich doch telefonieren (mit wem auch immer). Bis jetzt hat sich noch kein Manager gemeldet und das wird auch nicht passieren. Wir werden früher abreisen und das vermutlich teuer bezahlen. Übrigens haben wir über Booking gebucht, die sind auch keine Hilfe. Haben außerdem Tourismusbehörde informiert, man kann nur hoffen, dass diese Abzockerbude dicht machen muss.

Es ist eine Hotelgruppe, die drei oder vier Hotels zusammengefasst hat, die für die Familie geeignet ist, die auch nur für Erwachsene offen ist, das Hotel ist sehr groß, es muss ein Reisebus nach jedem Ort zurückkehren, mehrere Hotels Hallen und Restaurants und verschiedene Einrichtungen können gegenseitig verwendet werden, die Aktivitäten sind sehr reich, Unter jedem Gebäude gibt es einen Administrator, der alle Bedürfnisse der Kunden dieses Gebäudes betreut! Der Service ist sehr gut! Der Administrator wird jeden Tag nach 8 Uhr morgens den ganzen Tag der Veranstaltungszeitplan und die öffnungszeit des Restaurants und aller Arten von Konzerten veranstalten. Die Aktivitätszeit wird allen gesendet, sehr intim! Die Aktivitäten sind auch sehr reich an Tagen! Es gibt 20 verschiedene Restaurants in der Hotelgruppe, die Sie wählen können, alle sind komplett, sehr aufmerksam! Es gibt auch viele Aktivitäten jeden Abend, Musik-Aufführungen, verschiedene Partys! Die ganze Zeit ist angeordnet! Die Küste ist auch sehr lang, es gibt auch Innensee, die Landschaft ist sehr gut! Sehr gut für Familienurlaub!
