Hotel Bijay Niwas Palace

Sadly we only spent one night in this beautiful hotel. It is a small Palace (formerly a hunting lodge) still run by the former Maharaja and Maharani of Masuda (they no longer use the titles). The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden, full of exotic birds and other fascinating wildlife. The food was delicious and our room was beautiful. There is a lovely swimming pool. They also offer spa treatments, cookery lessons and local sight-seeing trips.

The host was very helping and polite. They accommodated all our requests. We stayed in their heritage suite. Loved loved loved their dinner. It never had such an amazing meal. Its a unique boutique place for those who like to stay for some peaceful time out of busy weekdays. I am 100% staying again.

A serene stay in the tranquil Indian country side. A family palace that has been lovingly concerted into accommodation that holds the lineage and family history of hundreds of years. A Beautiful location and friendly service well with a visit.

We stayed a stop over between Jodhpur and Agra. It was lovely stay an old world charm. Good food graciously hosted by Mrs. Singh. Took me to the days of the raj. Came to know that the owners are the patrilineal descendants of the brother of Mirabai knowing about their history was a plus

On our road journey from Jaipur to Udaipur this was the perfect midway point to pause and relax in the middle of the Rajasthani countryside. The property is a beautiful example of the period style of architecture and decoration, there is also a pool that was lovely and clean. We partook in two activities. There was a bullcart ride that we were joined on by the wonderful lady of the house, we visited a local village and rode through the farm fields. Then there was a cooking demonstration that allowed us to partake in the cooking of our own meal. We were joined by our lovely hosts Aditya and Upssana for our delicious evening meal. The staff were friendly and very attentive. I have mobility issues and the hosts and staff were very helpful with this and were able to provide suitable accommodations for us. If you are looking for a place to relax in the middle of a tour or just to be somewhere quiet and beautiful – I would recommend a stay for at least two nights at Bijay Niwas Palace

A beautiful old building in a rural location. We had a suite, which was huge for two people. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a good rest for us between Jaipur and Jodphur and a complete contrast to the chaos and bustle of the cities we had already visited. We had one full day just to relax, we ate lunch by the swimming pool, walked around the organic farm and had a ride to a local village in a bullock cart. As it was winter dinner could be inside or outside, we ate outside next to a fire pit. It’s charming and relaxing, don’t go expecting a five star resort.. We really enjoyed our stay.
