"The room was large and could accommodate 4 people. When I checked in on the first day, the male waiter was indifferent. We criticized him and became particularly friendly the next 2 days. The attractions introduced to us by the front desk on the second day were very unprofessional. If you are looking for good attractions, be sure to go to the visitor center in the city, which recommended the restaurant to see the sunset (les Sanguinaires) and several museums that are free on Sundays!"

"We stayed here on our last night in Corsica. Check-in and parking were a breeze and Cecilia made every effort to help us and show us around. The hotel is like going back in time, not dated, just seems like an old Hollywood or South of France hotel back in the 1950’s or 1960’s. The decor in the lobby was beautiful, the corner bar was quaint with a great assortment of liquors, beers, and wines, and the restaurant/swimming pool area were right on the sea with beautiful views of Ajaccio and the gulf. There is plenty of seating by the pool. Staff were attentive on getting drinks for us, if needed. The swimming pool was saltwater straight from the gulf and warmed to a comfortable temperature. The jacuzzi was warm. We had a small corner hotel room that was small but comfortable. The room was nice but may be due for a makeover soon. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked great. The bathroom was completely updated. The only two problems we could find were the bathtub had poor drainage and there was some hair on the floor from previous guests. Normally the hair on the floor would be an automatic one star deduction, but the rest of the hotel was just so awesome that it was hard for me to deduct a point here. We didn’t have dinner here, we opted to walk to the old town, a 25 minute walk away. We did have the breakfast for 29 Euro, and it was fabulous. The breads, cheeses, meats, homemade yoghurt, omelettes, fruits were all fantastic and we didn’t have to eat another meal until dinner. Checkout was at 12 pm, wished we could have stayed longer before we departed to the airport. Overall a wonderful stay."

Doch dieses Mal zwangen mich die Umstände, in diesem Hotel ein kleines Zimmer zu buchen, zumal die Fenster zu einer stark befahrenen Straße gingen. Das Zimmer war einfach wunderbar – hell und komfortabel! Die Einrichtung war so gut durchdacht, dass es sich überhaupt nicht beengt anfühlte! Es war blitzsauber, das Bett bequem und das Badezimmer geräumig. Bei geschlossenem Fenster war der Straßenlärm kaum zu hören. Die Lage des Hotels war ausgezeichnet."

For some reason it's hard to find the 'right' version that offers the traditional rich flavour, even in France. To my surprise, the restaurant at the hotel served one of the most delicious soupes I've ever had. Sadly, not the same good luck in the other restaurants on the island, so more than once decided to keep the dinner light to enjoy a late soupe treat upon returning to the hotel. And adding to this rare find are the wonderful views, facilities and the efficient service you get at the hotel, which is a great choice for that corner of the island."
