Stayed one night. Conveniently located and reasonably quiet. The room was located on the second floor, but after getting off the elevator one had to walk down seven steps on a narrow winding staircase - very inconvenient with luggage. The room was very small but clean and nicely decorated. No electric kettle. Comfortable bed and pillows. Small desk area with enough power outlets. Bathroom with very small shower cabin. Good water pressure but absolutely zero shelf space in the shower - had to put toiletries, comb, etc on the floor. The shower floor was also quite slippery. Decent wifi. Breakfast with reasonable selection.

Dieses Hotel wirkt ziemlich neu und weist eine schöne Mischung von alter Bausubstanz und neuem Komfort auf. Die Lage ist super, da gleich am Anfang der Fussgängerzone, alles Wichtige ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Hotel befindet sich aber an einer stark befahrenen Strasse. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, muss unbedingt einen Parkplatz reservieren, denn dann kann man direkt vor dem Hotel parkieren. Das Frühstück findet im Selfservice wie in einer Kantine statt, ist aber reichhaltig.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut im Zentrum von Ajaccio gelegen. Wir waren jedoch enttäuscht von vielen Punkten: Zimmer, die nicht mit den Fotos in Einklang stehen. Viele Geräusche früh am Morgen und am Abend ... Hausfrauen verbringen sehr früh am Morgen in den Zimmern und wecken Sie auf ... Es ist schade, wenn Sie im Urlaub sind. Das Frühstück ist sehr teuer für das, was angeboten wird. Sie können ein Frühstück in der Straße für die Hälfte billiger. Das Pool ist sehr klein, es gibt nur 6-7 Transaktionen verfügbar.

Erst erfolgreiche Aufenthalte, nichts zu bequem wiederzulesen, ruhig, während in der Stadt, unverschämte Sauberkeit, sorgfältig und effizient Personal. Ein gutes Restaurant mit nebenan zu sehr richtigen Preisen und Qualität. Frühstück ein wenig teuer, es sei denn, wir sind ein großes Frühstück am Morgen, es gibt etwas, das die Panzer füllen. Es empfehlen, die Augen zu schließen.

Wir hatten eine sehr komfortable Wohnung mit wunderschönem Meerblick von allen Räumen aus - eine Badebucht direkt gegenüber dem Hotel, in der man schon vor dem Frühstück baden und auf dem Rückweg an der Rezeption das Baguette abholen konnte für das Frühstück auf dem Balkon über dem Meer, das man auch nachts leise rauschen hören kann. Kurz: Erholung pur!

The Mercure hotel has a great location. It is 10 min drive from Ajaccio Airport. It has a 24×7 store (Proxi), petrol station, eateries (breakfast, Crêpes, pizzas) right next to it. The parking in the hotel is chargeable (12 eur per night). The receptionists are very cordial, they provide all the info and extend every possible help. The rooms are clean and have enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Kids slept on a sofa bed and it was already set-up and was comfy. The bathroom has shower, hand shower and the toilet has a water jet (first time I saw one in Europe). The pool is small but you can spend an evening sitting around it. The only thing that doesn't work but that's true for all of Ajaccio (nothing to do with Mercure) is that you will need to drive 2-3 hours to get to interesting sights in Corsica. Piana Calanques are ~2hrs away, Calvi is ~2.5 hrs away, Polambaggia beach is ~3 hrs away and Bonifacio again ~3 hrs away.

Aufgrund der bestehenden Bewertungen hatten wir extra um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten, dem Wunsch wurde wohl halbherzig versucht zu entsprechen und wir bekamen das vorderste Zimmer der Seitenstraße (etwa 5-10m quer zur Hauptverkehrsader), was die Rezeptionisten als sehr ruhig beschrieb. So schlecht hatte ich lange nicht mehr geschlafen: Durch die Hauptstraße war es auch nach Mitternacht extrem laut, ich musste gegen 2 Uhr mit extremen Kopfschmerzen (durch das ständige eindösen und wachwerden) das Fenster schließen. Nun war das Zimmer viel zu warm, bis die Klimaanlage auf Touren kam dauerte es und war laut. Anschließend Fenster zu und im miefigen Zimmer versucht ein wenig Schlaf zu bekommen. Wenn ich die gesamte Nacht mal 1h durchgängig geschlafen und mich nicht gewälzt habe war das schon extrem viel. Dafür war die Frühstücksauswahl groß, der Impfnachweis wurde vorbildlich kontrolliert, es gab sogar frischen Orangensaft und auch der Pool auf dem Dach ist nett, obendrein gratis Tiefgarage. Auch für eine Stadterkundung ist es gut gelegen. Das Hotel ist an sich echt gut und für jemanden, der gerne mit Fenster zu oder Klimaanlage schläft gut geeignet. Wer ein offenes Fenster braucht schaut sich besser woanders um. Dass trotz Vorauszahlung vor Ort fehlerhaft nochmal berechnet wurde kann vorkommen, das lasse ich mal außen vor.
