The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Airlie. However, I found it disappointing that only a linen sheet was provided on the bed—no blanket at all. It got quite chilly at night. This setup might be fine in summer, but a blanket is definitely needed for cooler seasons!

The location is close to everything . The accommodations need better maintenance though . They sweep the room to clean real quick when there is someone checking out. I am in luck that my roommates are really nice and clean. The room look old and smell weird but if you stay long enough you will get used to it. They could make the room look better but they don’t .It’s a shame. Great place and good price for backpackers and caravan.

I booked a girls room but then there’s guys come live in the room , it was such a bad hostel, and the guy s come back late can’t have good sleep . The worst is the front desk woman is so bad and so unfriendly won’t go there again

Perfect location close to everything. Although the staff wasn’t very friendly, the rooms and common areas really compensated for that! Would recommend!

是一間青年旅社，從艾利港步行10分鐘左右可以到達。裏面有各種遊樂設施：沙灘排球，露天電影院，游泳池等等。我住的是女生四人間，和來自世界各地的女生們暢聊～臨街有餐廳、超市、泳具店、公交車站... 十分方便。距離這邊最大出海遊玩旅行社的pick up點也非常近。

衞生也就這樣了，重點是離碼頭近走路衹有 20 分鐘，就是晚上太吵了，周圍都是房車營地，全是年輕人，愛安靜的不適合。房間也大，隔音不好

房間很大，獨立衞生間、獨立淋浴、還有廚房、衣帽間。就是不太整潔和乾淨。8月底了，床上衹有一個被單，太冷了，4點鐘凍醒了，發現衣帽間有個抓絨小毯子，太小了，和大於今差不多大小，又蓋着兩個浴巾，勉強對付一晚。最佳的就是位置，周圍各種酒吧購物，BWS、Woolworth步行3-5分鐘的距離。機場shuttle也是很方便。

Brilliant location. 2 pools and a tennis court. 2 kitchens. The kitchens weren’t the cleanest but nothing you wouldn’t expect from a hostel. Nearby all the clubs and located directly next to a bar where they have amazing food and events every night. The rooms were spacious with toilets and showers and a mirror area to get ready.

We traveled as part of a tour group and stayed in Airlie beach for a couple nights, before doing a yacht on the Whitsundays. We loved Nomads so much we’re heading back for a weekend soon! The accommodation was perfect, dorm rooms are great, and we upgraded to private rooms which were beautiful! Kitchen is well stocked, 2 fab pools and the grounds themselves are beautiful. The staff were all so lovely and helpful, particularly Quentin on reception, he’s so bubbly and fun, helped with every request we had, and really made our stay memorable. Nothing was too much to ask for, he really is an amazing asset to the team! Can’t wait to return this weekend!

This hostel is grim. Do not buy the pictures that are on Google. We stayed in the 'Base' site of the hostel and I was pretty shocked at the standard of cleanliness. Curtains in the main room are all ripped and don't fit the windows, so are redundant. Aircon fan and an additional fan that was provided are coated in dust and dirt. Outer wooden fences/stairs are badly rotted and breaking away. The place is in need of a massive facelift. I wouldn't mind old if it was maintained properly and you felt that it was clean. Our room was neither. The only saving grace for the hostel is that the washing machines worked well for us and Boaty's bar on-site is a lovely lovely spot for a drink and to socialise. But avoid staying in the Base Nomads accomodation I would say.

Really great experience at Nomads Magnetic Island. First; I appreciated to keep my backpack safe in a locked luggage room as I arrived early + the bus stop just in front of the hostel. Then, the room was good, cleaned every day (including mopping), which was really appreciated! I really liked the direct access to the beach and view to the ocean. That makes the outside/common areas really enjoyable. Everything was perfect, really. If I have to find a down, it would be the bathrooms that could be better (the flower shower). I will definitely be back!

Great hostel, everyone super friendly and especially staff always willing to help. Thanks to Teegan who was very helpful and kind. Would definitely stay again. I thought this was great value for money! I was due to stay in a shared dorm but after explaining my Boat trip had been cancelled they upgraded me free or charge. I then extended my stay!

Staying in Nomads were a pleasure. The staff in reception were very friendly, upgraded me free of charge to a much newer, renovated room which was a great surprise and were very efficient in helping me with any questions I had about the town and the hostel. I’d recommend to anyone travelling to Airlie any time soon. Also such a good location for the hostel right on the main strip in town.
