Gut erreichbar (unser Zielflughafen war Edinburgh) und großer Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Netter Empfang, schönes und sauberes Zimmer (für manchen Gast könnte es zu klein sein - wir fanden es putzig). Unbedingt ausprobieren - das schottische Frühstück der Gastfamilie - wirklich sehr gut (aber auch mächtig). Insgesamt ein toller Startpunkt um schottische Gastfreundschaft kennenzulernen und für einen Tagesausflug nach Glasgow (einfach mit dem Zug direkt von Airdrie aus).

Very comfortable, calm and homely. Good location, though on a main road, it is still very quiet. The interior decor is well put together with a tartanesque carpet running throughout and picture frames depicting local farm animals, all contribute to its charm and homeliness.

Fantastic B&B with charm and convenience. We were met at the door where all the amenities were explained to us, along with how to come and go, restaurant recommendations, breakfast order taken and even an offer of an umbrella for the night since it was a bit rainy. The room was clean and comfortable, with a hairdryer, TV, en suite, kettle (with tea, coffee and snacks) and a very nice bed. Staff member was very lovely and made us feel welcomed! Definitely recommend!

Excellent value for money. All you can ask for in a b&b. Nice spacious house, although on a main road not too noisy, private parking at the back, clean room, courtesy tray, lovely cooked breakfast. Friendly welcome. I totally recommend it, no need to look elsewhere.

Just endorsing the good reviews we stayed 3nights in room number 3 it was nice and clean and we slept well the breakfast was spot on two small ******* we were not told we had to put out the do not disturb sign turned round to clean room. When the tea making tray (milk and tea bags) want replacing. We were told that every time we went out to lock the front door (Oh the door) over the 3 days we never managed to lock it once it would lock on the inside no problem but on the outside the handles was very floppy so I assumed it was broken so we had to find the lady to tell her it wasn't locked so she could sort it. But we still think the stay was 10 out of 10.

We stayed here for 3 nights in Room 2,it was very clean and comfortable. A lovely breakfast was included in the very reasonable price. Suzanne was friendly and helpful, giving us some good advice on trains etc. The Airdrie train station is a short walk away and there are some good local restaurants. Will definitely book again.

The location was perfect. The decor was fitting with the house. It was spotless and catered for everything. It was comfortable, cozy and the food was top notch. There was ample parking and the host made our stay all the better with her homely personality.

Had room 3 at the front of the property, way too much road noise, no curtains to muffle it. The shower was small and a bit of black mold in the corners, not very inviting. The bed was packed in and left hardly any room for getting in and out of. Maybe it should really be a single bedroom? Breakfast was ok but only egg bacon and tattie scone, no tomato’s or mushrooms.? I was offered beans but not for me. The owner hardly spoke to me and I had to leave without saying goodbye even though I Rand the bell to say I was leaving. I was a little disappointed but if I’d had earplugs it would have been reasonable I suppose.
