"This is a 3 star hotel, on the shore/promenade, with beautiful sea view and a pleasant place for breakfast or dinner just in front... Too many thin cats.. It is an old building but well maintained, the owner being very receptive at any complaint. The pool looks great. All the staff are very kind, pleasant people. We had a small room with wonderful sea view but...small for two people, not enough space for luggage (two small suitcases). Shower also small with a plastic curtain but clean like new... Everything was functional and very clean. Sea is calm, but deepens quick and bottom is rocky...watershoes are a must... Few shops, lot of tavernas, all you need, and not expensive...Selianitika village is at a 5 minutes walk where you'll find some shops and Bus stops...but bus do not stop and do not come in time... Taxi to Aigio is between 10-13 euros one way. We were on half-board, but due to few customers they cooked for us every evening the dinner, on request... A kind of "a la carte menu" but the specific cuisine is Italian (pasta or pizza)... Meals are a week point...few choices... Also here is a seismic area... we had and felt a 3.8 magnitude earthquake...100 km around Patras area there were 27 earthquakes /24 hours on 18 June but less than 2 magnitude... The beach is narrow and rocky...the seawater was cold, about 21 C degrees... Nice scenery, nice evening walks, well maintained building, nice people who did their best to make us a pleasant stay... It was an interesting experience..."

"We stayed for 4 nights to visit friends who were at their vacation home near by. Pros: Location on the sea. The housekeeping staff were very friendly. The bungalows were more quiet than the main building. Cons: The rooms are less than basic and furniture very worn. The biggest disappointment was that the kayaks and paddle boards could only be used (or rented) by guests who booked through the French tour operator that has an office there. We booked directly with the hotel and the website notes a "Water Sport Center" and "Being a “near-the-sea” complex it is only natural to accommodate almost all water sports activities" plus". We didn't have a car rental because our plan was to kayak or paddle board to our friends house down the sea wall. This was never explained to us in the pre-arrival communication we had with the hotel. The nice photo of the paddle boarders on the website is bad advertising at least. Not everyone speaks English (most of the staff and guests are French). The breakfast/dining area was extremely hot and I don't think air conditioned since the doors were left open. The outside temperature was pushing 100F. The AC in the rooms turn off during the day without the key card. The first day we return to our room which was hotter than it was outside. It is a stretch to say that the gardens are "well attended" or that it is a "quiet environment.""

"Had one night here on our road trip through the area, and were in general quite happy. When we arrived there was no one there, so we had to find a phone number to call, but they came within a few minutes. For some reason they had not realized that they had any arrivals that day, but our reservation was found and all was good from there. The room, which consisted of two levels, were nice and so was the premises. Unfortunately it was raining that day, so we didn't use the pool area which looked very nice. The hotel is situated in a residental area with a short walk to the lake/beach which called for a lovely morning bath. It's also within walking distance to the small village nearby, that has a few nice restaurant. All in all a nice stopover."
