Daskalogiannis Hotel

Daskalogiannis hotel has got the most central location, nevertheless doesn’t get too loud. The best about the room is the view from the balcony. An umbrella or some kind of shade would be useful as it is really hot in the sunshine. I think the rooms needs some refreshing up and the quality of cleaning is not the best. Room floor was dirty and the toilet smells a bit. Customer service is in some ways okay, but it would be nice if the staff would be friendlier and giving more effort. They let me keep the room one hour extra, that was kind. I enjoyed having the breakfast on the terrace -it was included to the room price. The price of the stay is higher than in general in Loutro; so I expected something better.

Second time staying here and it doesn’t disappoint. Rooms refurbished comfortable with veranda overlooking stunning Loutro. The staff make you feel like family and full of good local information. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. Also a great place to end the night. I don’t need to look any further when looking for Loutro accommodation.

Very nice location , the room was very clean and the staff very kind and helpful. The mattress was very comfortable and the time of the sleep was heavenly. Daily room service. Hotel in front of the sea where you can enjoy the plentiful breakfast. All the experience was one of the kind.

I’ve stayed here many times before in the past always on the week of the 15th of August. Today was a horrible experience. Just left there today and when I returned to my home in Chania and was unpacking I realized several items were missing from my belongings. 3 items to be exact. These items were packed by me at 9:30 am and put away in my bag and it seems someone entered my room and took these things just before my family and I left. We packed our bags and went down for break fast and then returned to take our bags just before it was time to leave. When I called Ioanna the manager of the hotel to report the issue she said she would look into it and then minutes later sent me a text stating that there was nothing found or reported by the cleaning lady. I tried calling her back with no answer and she ignored all my other texts and numerous phone calls. She was not helpful at all and very unprofessional. She was eager to take our booking in cash and offered no reciept as well. I believe she was irritated that we had to cut our stay from the agreed 5 nights to four nights due to an emergency and wanted to charge me for the full booking. Three expensive pieces of clothing, valued at $500 were missing. I do not recommend this place based on the lack of communication regarding this complaint and her ignoring my calls to the hotel number, her personal cell phone and various text messages. I will be filing a police report in the morning as well.

We had a lovely time! Staff were friendly and courteous; breakfast was tasty and ample and location was perfect! We appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the beautiful view from our terrace. We would definitely enjoy being able to stay again!

Wonderful hotel with beautiful views over the bay, right next to the ferries. We enjoyed our 3 nights there so much, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is just the best! Served on the terrace next to the water in a very relaxed atmosphere with Coco the parrot entertaining passers by. We will be back!
