A truly amazing experience, everyone who is involved here is friendly and so accommodating from the moment we walked in. The room is very comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant is top class, the guy running food and beverage is in a class of his own, he has made our stay an experience. Cannot recommend it enough we will make this our place to stay on our visits to Adelaide.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und modern und bietet alle gewünschten Termine. Das Badezimmer überstieg die Erwartungen und war größer als die meisten. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einem Bad gewählt. Sehr gute Entscheidung und sehr beeindruckendes Zimmer. Die Küche war ausgezeichnet, obwohl die Wahl begrenzt war. Wir waren jedoch enttäuscht, dass es keinen Raum im Speisesaal war das Geschäft Speisesaal für Hotelgäste zu essen, so dass es eine Wartezeit von über eine Stunde hätte, um einen Tisch zu bekommen. Klar ist, dass die Speiseanlagen viele Orte anziehen, um dort zu essen. Das bedeutet, dass Gäste oft in den weniger Qualitätsbereichen zu essen haben. Wir dachten, die Mahlzeitenwahl war für ein Geschäft Hotel begrenzt

Das Zimmer hatte alle Grundstücke (Kühlschrank und Gefrierfach, Küchenbank, Mikrowelle, Kessel, TV und WIFI). Als ich ankam, waren die Gerichte in meinem Zimmer schmutzig. Die Küche hat keinen Schlauch. Um die Gerichte zu waschen, müssen Sie das Badezimmer Schlauch verwenden. Das Personal ist hilfreich.

The Grand is without a doubt all about the location! Given it’s ocean front position it should offer an absolute premium experience but instead falls a little short as it continues to date without much sign of refurbishment. The rooms are basic, the carpets old, the furnishings aging and everything just feels in need of some love. Bathrooms still have showers over the bath with shower curtains and the air con in the room wasn’t very effective (too hot despite being on the coolest setting). There was also a wedding being hosted during my 1 night stay and despite my room being on the 5th floor (ballroom is on level 1), I could hear the band/music until the end of the reception at 11:30pm. On the positive (besides premium location), the staff at reception / concierge were excellent. They greeted with absolute care on arrival and happiness during check out, despite being early in the morning. It felt like they enjoyed what they did and that’s so good to see in customer facing roles. Worth considering this hotel for a stay, just as long as you’re happy with basic ammenities in a great location.

Although staff at reception were friendly and helpful, management need to allocate more resources to cleaning (as I’m sure the limited staff do what they can with the time they are allocated to clean each room). The state of my room was disappointing to say the least. Rubbish was left from the previous occupier in the bathroom cupboard and with the tea/coffee supplies. The floor looked like it had not been vacuumed. The thick layer of dust along the top of the bed head was unbelievable. It was warm in the room but the ceiling fan was filthy and therefore I didn’t want to use it. Thankfully the toilet, shower and bedsheets were clean but I honestly thought about leaving within 5 minutes of my arrival! The small on-site parking is handy, but it’s tricky to manoeuvre into and only available if you’re in early. The website photo of the executive room suggests it overlooks the park. Sadly, a view of the car park was for us, but the good thing about this was that it reduced the noise from the street. I will not stay at Ensenada again. I will avoid Glenelg as well - too noisy (late night bars), too busy, and quite grubby overall.

Our room was on the 10th floor facing south east. We had an amazing view seeing the city, the Adelaide hills and Jetty Road (At night this looked even better). The room was very modern, with a nice sized TV. The weather was great for a beach side holiday. The short 300m walk to the beach was very convenient..... the fridge was very quite and ensured we had ice cold drinks upon return, the air conditioner worked great and allowed a great nights sleep. The bed was very comfortable. Check In and Check Out was contactless and very simple.

Nachdem ich drei Wochen im Hotel gelebt habe, kann ich sagen, dass ich ein Meister werden werde. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr gut, der Bus kommt am Flughafen an, das Hotel liegt neben dem Glenelg Beach und zum Strand sind es ca. ein paar Minuten. Die Hafenabzweigung am Eingang hielt viele Boote an. Das Wetter im Juli war morgens und abends sehr kalt und mittags heiß. Der Himmel ist blau und das Meer auch. Das Hotel geht zum Outlet, IKEA, der Flughafen ist sehr praktisch, es gibt Busse in alle Richtungen; Es ist auch sehr bequem, in die Stadt zu fahren, in den meisten Fällen wählen wir den Bus oder die Straßenbahn am Strand. Entlang des Weges gibt es große Rasenflächen und Häuser mit Garagen, alles ist frisch. Es gibt viele Lebensmittel in der Nähe des Hotels. Es gibt ein hochpreisiges Meeresfrüchte-Buffet. Gehen Sie über 1-2 Minuten und empfehlen Sie, an Wochentagen mittags zu essen. Der Preis ist günstig. Zu Fuß 4-5 Minuten in Richtung Strand ist eine Reihe von Restaurants mit Blick auf den Hafen, mit den besten Austern und einer Vielzahl von frischen Zutaten. Der Restaurantwein der Stadt soll ein wichtiges Merkmal sein. Etwas weiter zum Strand geht es in die belebte Fußgängerzone. Die Straßenbahn rast langsam über die Straße, mit Eisdielen und verschiedenen Gourmet-Einkaufsläden auf beiden Seiten. Adelaide im Juli war Winter, noch kalt, nicht im Pool schwimmen gegangen, aber der Pool sah sauber aus. In dieser Stadt gibt es keine Peinlichkeiten, nur ein ruhiges Leben und eine Feuerwerksatmosphäre.

Easy check in and parking available. The rooms were big. The windows and carpet need a deep clean but the location is great and exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. The shower in the main bathroom however is not accessibility friendly as you need to step into a high bathtub with no handrail for support.
