Hallo, ich bin sehr enttäuscht. Ich hatte ein Zimmer in einem Hotel in Meeresnähe gebucht, aber auf der Website stand nicht, dass einige Zimmer an der Straße liegen und man sieben Minuten zum Meer laufen muss. Ich habe den Administrator kontaktiert und um einen Zimmerwechsel gebeten. Die Antwort von Trip.com kam erst eine Woche später, kurz vor meiner Abreise, und mir wurde mitgeteilt, dass ich einen Aufpreis zahlen müsse. Außerdem weiß ich, dass ein Zimmer auf der anderen Straßenseite auf anderen Websites 1000*** pro Nacht kostet. Ich habe auf Trip.com 1980*** pro Nacht bezahlt. Ich rate dringend davon ab, diese Website zu kontaktieren.

I had an amazing experience there! The staff were genuinely kind, and the peaceful environment offered a perfect escape from stress. If you're looking for a quiet and serene place to unwind, I highly recommend this resort—far from the noise and chaos. I’ll definitely choose this place again when we return to Puerto Galera!

Old accommodation, needs improvement

Gut zum Entspannen. Außerhalb der Stadt gelegen. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Ich hatte das Bungalow direkt am Strand. Das hat die beste Lage dort, hat aber die besten Zeiten hinter sich. Die anderen Zimmer sind in wesentlich besserem Zustand. Das Personal Genes, Glenda und Glen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonderes Lob hat der Koch Noel verdient - wirklich gutes Essen, speziell die Penne al Pesto. Nicht zu vergessen: Es wird eine sehr gute Massage auf dem Zimmer angeboten. Und dann ist da noch der Hund "Happy" - wir waren sofort Freunde (siehe Bild)

Dies ist mein zweiter Besuch bei Amami. Ich habe die Ruhe, das Essen, den Service und das Ambiente wirklich genossen. Ich kann Amami jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der einen ruhigen und entspannenden Ort in Puerto Galera sucht. Mein abschließendes Urteil zu Amami ist 1000/10 und ich werde sicher wiederkommen.

Das Restaurant wirbt mit vielen Speisen, die aber natürlich nicht erhältlich sind. Vanilleeis zum Beispiel natürlich nicht. Nur beworben. Der Service ist abscheulich langsam und bedient immer nur einen Kunden auf einmal, auch wenn es nur ein Paar ist. Keine Kunden, aber trotzdem über eine Stunde für eine einfache Anfrage. Keine Entschuldigung, keine Warnung vor langer Wartezeit und keine Erklärung auf Nachfrage. Ich habe dreimal gefragt. Keine Antwort. Nie wieder.

The description on the trip advisor site of Amami resort describes very well the place. We felt very welcome. The honor and the team are very warm, truly warm and kind! We felt like at home! the food is delicious and the place around wonderful. If you like nature, calm and authencity you will be at the right place. The logo of Amami is a big heart that describes perfectly the place and what we felt!

Great place on a peaceful quiet beach. Definitely rustic digs, thatched buildings, backpacker-ish. The owner does have some other buildings down the beach if needing a little more upscale. For me, the treefort with deck looking at the sea between the trees was all I needed. Motorbike rental across the street, provided me with the transpo for diving in Sabang and chill days at White Beach. Food is good in the restaurant. Very much enjoyed my holiday at Amami Resort.

Availed the Amami Beach Resort ₱6590 (4pax) all inclusive group promo. That’s 3D2N accommodation will full meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) package. They also have the couple package for only ₱3990. I first availed of this promotional voucher when pandemic started and they needed to make sure that the staff are still being paid despite the pandemic affecting all businesses. The resort also does feeding program for children in and around the area. Amami Beach Resort is located in Talipanan, Puerto Galera. About 20-25mins tryke ride from Balatero Port, usual charge of ₱200-250 or ₱50/pax. We took the RORO as we weren’t in a rush coming from Batangas Pier. JAM Liner charges ₱268 while ALPS ₱260. Montenegro RORO leaves the Batangas Pier at 8AM for ₱425 regular fare and travel is around 1hr 40mins. You have to be early as the queue is usually pretty long just about daily. Besides the waiting area in Batangas is actually nice, looking more like an airport departure area. You have to pay ₱30 terminal fee and environmental fee of ₱120/head in Puerto Galera upon arrival. Please do make sure to get your students bring their school ID to avail of discounts. Getting back to Batangas Pier from Balatero Port we did an advance booking via Kuya Agoy (+63997 074-3378). We paid an extra ₱50/head for the advance booking and he even delivered our tickets at the resort! It did save us time queuing and less hassle as we headed straight to the port entrance to pay for the terminal fee of ₱10/head then waiting area. Departure was 2PM from Balatero Port to Batangas. The resort has beach front accommodation as well as Greenhouses located by the main road, roughly 3mins walk to the beach and mess hall. Staff are amazing, food is fairly priced, everything is delicious (thanks mainly to Ate Briza 👏) and big portions too! Everything was great, staff food and location but the place needs quite a few fixes. Accommodation : we had an issue with the faulty door and door knob. Bathroom : clean and all but drain is a bit clogged as it takes awhile for the water to go down. Service Price List : not updated at all. I did speak to one of the managers (after contacting him via texts messages and call to which he dropped my call and never responded to my text messages) later in the afternoon. He was not apologetic for not getting back to me and didn’t really do much about my concern. A real let down after having dealt with the owner Fabio before. The staff did their best to be able to assist us but there is only so much they can do. Staff gets 15/10 stars ⭐️ while management gets zero ⭐️. È molto deludente. In all fairness to the manager Filippo, he is young and seemed patient listening to me, atleast. It is so sad because this place is amazing, the staff are simply wonderful and food is great! They used to be top of the list here in Trip Advisor and now due to neglect, there isn’t much despite their promotion which helps the place and staff big time.

Good food, cocktail, good escapade in Puerto. Good service, very nice people, attentive and the access to the beach is impeccable. Improvement point would be the bedding and especially the pillow who are not comfortable and the beds who are small

Lovely beachfront villa with access to private beach ! The house is fully equipped with kitchen ( gas stove , microwave. Fridge ) washing machine , wifi. Massive common living room with a lovely seaside view !!! The staff are approachable and helpful. I had a lovely romantic birthday dinner set up on the terrace . Lovely food ! We have been stranded due to Typhoon Paeng and the owner went extra mile to ensure our stay is comfortable despite the electric blackouts . They have generator as well. We had the executive room on the 3rd floor and room is spacious .

However if you want pleasant clean good sized rooms, Friendly staff and good food this is the place. I spent 5 weeks at the resort convalescing. I found it to be a brilliant place to just chill out and relax. The resort as described is split into three sections, 1, Beach, where the reception, restaurant, bar, and typically rustic local style accommodation is situated on the beach front. 2, Garden, set about 100m back from the beach with solidly built accommodation on 2 levels. This pleasant setting is where the SPA bath is situated. 3. Villa, Set about 500m from the reception area with direct access to the beach. I was accommodated in the garden section. My room was airy clean and comfortable with air conditioning, fan and hot shower. The menu in the restaurant was varied with daily specials supplementing the standard. The food was good quality, well prepared and presented. Be aware however that the resort changed its name recently so all the locals, including tricycle drivers still know it as Amami!
