"Dieses Hotel wird hauptsächlich von Geschäftsgruppen für seine Sitzungsräume und Transportverbindungen genutzt. Es ist nahe einer großen Straße und ist ca. 25 Minuten Fahrt nach Oxford. Nicht erwarten Sie Klopfen oder Würfel, dieser Ort ist nur über seine Park- und Transportkomfort. Personal war freundlich und Frühstück war sehr Standard. Ein paar kleine Punkte: - Check-in-Desk ist direkt in der Eingangstür. This means if you have to queue to check-in, the doors are constantly opening and shutting on you or worse you’re still standing outside of the hotel. - Das Hotel hat zwei Aufzüge, aber über die drei Tage, die ich dort geblieben habe, war nur eine in Betrieb und war sehr langsam. Das wäre vielleicht ok gewesen, wenn es irgendwelche Zugang zu den Treppen gab, aber ich konnte nicht finden. Auch drei Tage im Marriott Hotel und keine Arbeit wurde auf dem gebrochenen Aufzug getan. Warum? Das würde nicht in China geschehen. - Das Doppelzimmer, in dem ich geblieben bin, war sauber und ausreichend, meist. Aber a) warum hat die Dusche keine Tür? Oder scheint nur eine halbe Wand, die das Wasser von Leckagen auf den Boden stoppen? Es macht keinen Sinn. Auch mein Zimmer hatte ein Fenster war halb blockiert durch die Anbringung eines Schranks. Noch einmal, warum?"

Premier Inn Abingdon (A34)

"Nice, clean and exactly what you’d expect if you’ve ever stayed in a Premier Inn. Not perfect, shower hose split and the evening bar/restaurant service left a lot to be desired (food was excellent though). My biggest gripe was that there was absolutely zero telephone reception inside the building, meaning that you either had to stand outside in the car park in the rain, or you were restricted to the hotel Wi-Fi; the free option of which was so slow as to be utterly unusable."

"We booked a Premier Plus room here for one night because of its convenient location close to an event we were attending. The hotel is situated just off the motorway and directly opposite a service station with an M&S Food store, which was very convenient. On arriving at the car park, we did wonder what we had booked. There was scruffy outdoor furniture, rubbish bags lying around, and the overall appearance was untidy and poorly maintained. At reception, however, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who was happy to check us in, saving us from having to use the self-service kiosk. Our room was on the first floor, and there was no lift, but once inside we were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, clean, and in good condition, as was the bathroom which had a walk in shower. The air conditioning was especially welcome on a hot night, and the room also included a fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities. An ironing board was provided, although there was no iron, with a hairdryer being available. The bathroom toiletries were adequate, but they were supplied in wall-mounted dispensers with removable tops, meaning they could potentially be tampered with. As a result, we chose not to use them. Overall, for the price, we were pleasantly surprised. While the exterior and surrounding areas could do with some much attention, the room itself was comfortable, well-equipped, and offered good value for money."

"Very distinctive British country hotel, each house is very clean, fully equipped, and the floor heating is opened in May, so although it is on the first floor, it is very dry. Especially at night, it is very quiet, the yard is full of flowers and trees, and the yard is outside the vast pasture. You can see the vast starry sky when you look up. The experience is great! The hotel is basically unattended. Everyone's room number has been informed by email. When we check in, we enter the room and check out to the front desk to turn the key. There is a British girl at breakfast to help us make some simple breakfast and experience the British rural family life. It’s only half an hour’s drive to Oxford, and friends who have a car can experience it here."
