Die Umgebung ist sehr gut, viele Möglichkeiten zum Frühstück, frische Zutaten und noch besseres Abendessen! Authentische französische Küche ist nicht teuer! Der Service war zufriedenstellend und das Personal kam, um das Problem in wenigen Minuten zu lösen. Das Hotel werde ich jedes Mal wählen!

I had a fantastic experience at Movenpick Abidjan. The staff was extremely courteous and responsible, taking care of every guest, especially Ines, who was outstanding. I particularly enjoyed their evening happy hour, which is complimentary for guests staying in a specific room type.

The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle from the airport, and they reportedly have staff waiting for you with a hotel sign after customs. My travel agent had informed the hotel of my arrival, but when I exited customs, no-one was there. After a 16-minute wait and some phone calls, the driver arrived. Traffic in Abidjan can be heavy, it took us about 45 minutes to reach the hotel Check-in was quick and friendly, and the receptionist spoke some English although to my surprise many other staff members did not; there was a constant language barrier. However, in the restaurant, they always had someone there who knew English well enough. My room on the 10th floor was rather small for a five-star. The bed was comfortable and there were sockets by the bed, and in addition, there was a coffee table, an armchair, a desk, a fridge, a safe and a 0.5 L water bottle in the room. A/C worked well. Overlapping curtains helped keep the light out in the morning. The room was recently renovated, in very good condition and felt fresh and clean. Wifi was free, unlimited, easy to use, fast and reliable. The bathroom came with an overhead as well as a hand-held shower, no bathtub. The shower worked nicely the first night, with ample hot water and great water pressure. However, for the next 55 hours, the hotel experienced immense trouble with their water system, and all I could get for two whole days was cold water and an awful water pressure. Taking a shower was almost impossible. First, they promised to fix it by 10 am, then noon, then 5 pm, then 10 pm and after that there were no promises anymore, and no compensation offered, either. I requested complimentary breakfast, which I got on two mornings. In the end, the problem was fixed after 55 hours. Amenities in the bathroom included slippers and a bathrobe as well as single-use shampoo, shower gel, body lotion and a bar of soap. No conditioner. I appreciate the single-use items as I don't find the wall-mounted containers – that so many hotels nowadays use in order to save money – hygienic. In addition, there was a shoeshining sponge, much needed in dusty Abidjan. Breakfast was served in the ground floor restaurant from 6:30 to 10. The buffet cost 16 000 CFA, which is a lot, but by African standards, the buffet was very good and items such as cheeses and ham were of high quality. There were several hot items as well as an egg station with omelettes served to the table. Cold items included all the basics as well as several types of salads and some Arabian items. I did not have dinner in the restaurant, but ordered room service a couple of times. The food came quickly and was of high quality. By Western standards, prices are fair even if they are very high for locals. There is a small swimming pool with surprisingly cool water on the mezzanine floor, open all day. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, bequem zu reisen, es ist ruhig mitten drin! Für unsere Hausangestellten besteht das Manko darin, dass es nur sehr wenige Zweibettzimmer gibt und das Zimmer mit Seeblick auch gut sein sollte! Ich freue mich darauf, das nächste Mal wiederzukommen!

Sonia from the reception was very helpful and I loved all the assistance I got from her especially since she could speak English well. Everyone else was also really nice even though they couldn’t understand my English very well. In all, I loved my experience

Made a prepaid hotel booking for 5 nights with this hotel. Flight got cancelled due to technical issues so was moved to the next day. The online booking agent reached out to the hotel immediately to amend the dates. The hotel would not let me shift/amend the dates to accommodate the flight cancellation. I didn't ask for money back I just wanted it to be adjusted since I obviously couldn't fly in on that day as initially hoped. Even wrote their reservations email and their manager, Diana Camara, responded that there was nothing she could do to accommodate a 1st time customer. What type of hotel will punish a soon to be customer for actions that are not within their control? What type of customer service experience message are you sending? Needless to say that if I had read a review like this describing how inflexible this hotel is I would not have booked your hotel. I rate customer experience very high in my travels. I will not stay again at this one or any of the other hotels around the world as they obviously do not value their customers. You have all been warned.

Ich habe dieses Hotel wegen des wettbewerbsfähigen Preises im Vergleich zu einer Villa gewählt, die ich in Abidjan üblicherweise verbringen werde. Mein Gesamteindruck war groß. Das Zimmer, das ich verbleibte, hatte eine interessante Konfiguration. Das Badezimmer und die Dusche wurden ich in das Schlafzimmer aufhitzt. Der Dusche-Abfalldruck und die Temperatur waren großartig. Das Internet war schnell genug, um ein streamiertes Video zu sehen. Ich wünsche ihnen mehr Möglichkeiten für Menü im Restaurant und für den Zimmerservice. Wenn ich in Plateau bleiben sollte, würde ich zurückgehen.

Room is decent but there's a door in an odd place , between the entrance /closet/toilet area and the where the bed is....door is ajar and doesn't closed properly..knock onto the side of the door last nite whilst going to the toilet. The toilet was cleaned completely...and the coffee cups are stained
