La Maison Palmier Abidjan, a Member of Design Hotels

Excellent as always. My favorite hotel in Abidjan, by a large margin.

Ivorian Oasis I highly recommend this hotel. The service, food, cleanliness, and decor were all superb. The hotel felt like an oasis, and it’s a great place to relax. It’s also conveniently located. I’ll be back whenever I’m in Abidjan!

I had the pleasure of staying here during a business trip. The service and accommodations were fantastic. The team at La Maison Palmier were incredibly friendly and helpful. The menu and food are both a work of art and a gift to your taste buds. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet, a perfect combination for a business trip.

Wonderful stay and hotel services. Staff was extremly helpful in coordinating and supporting my logistics. Tremndous barman Jean Moise master at his craft! Food and boarding accomadations were very nice. I look forward to my retunr vist.

The dishes are very good all the dishes are delicious… the hotel is very relaxing , I really had the strength for my social actions towards the poor children for who should go to school ; it was really fantastic Ivory Coast is really a beautiful country, I was very well received by the hotel staff the waiters are very polite speaks very well 🤩 especially the waitress davilla very nice professional she was very kind !! I highly recommended I will come back there on vacation I hope to find the same staff and the same setting.. thank you very much to davilla 😘😘😘

My wife and I visited La Mansion Palmier for our anniversary. The hotel looked beautiful from the outside and the pool area was amazing. The staff were welcoming and attentive. We wanted something special, so we booked a table for dinner. The bread and tuna appetizer were delicious, and the tuna tartar starter was also very nice, though it was decorated with a wilted flower and undressed rocket. My wife ordered fresh tuna - Well done, but it came out pink and cold in the center. They rectified it and it came out again five minutes later. Not wanting my wife to eat alone,i waited for her food to arrive back, when it did, I started to eat my lamb and realized it was also raw - ordered pink, I sent it back and when it returned, it was just warmed and still raw - Lamb is to be served Pink or well done, its not like a piece of beef which has many different cooking temperatures. The flavors from the lamb were confused, just like us when we left this place. The main meals were very average and way overpriced. There was no starch with any of the meals, so we paid a lot for a raw piece of lamb and lumpy puree - honestly, it looked like a meal a culinary student had plated - this plate was 34EURO!!!! WHAT?! In between our main and dessert, a man, maybe the manager, who had just smoked a cigarette approached us. The smell was very strong, and we didn't want that near us. He asked if everything was okay, but this was after two main meals that were sent back and we were visibly annoyed. There were no apologies from anyone other than the waiters, and certainly no offers of anything to soften the blow for spending 95000CFA Total (145EURO) on a very average meal. It was disappointing. After this, the waiting staff were cold to me and wouldn't give me any eye contact, would only speak to my wife & i felt ignored. Not sure if this is typical here.. Ignore the problem and it will go away. For dessert, we shared profiteroles for 10000CFA, plus an extra charge of 3000CFA for some reason? (20 Euro total) The portion was large enough for us to share and the chocolate sauce was nice, but there was a huge pile of cream, which might explain the extra cost - Again extremely over priced for what we received, very disappointing. We had hoped to spend the night there drinking wine and relaxing, but felt we had to leave quickly. My advice would be for the restaurant to concentrate on the quality of the food & customer service and to stop charging ridiculous prices for expectations they cannot live up to - i would never visit this hotel again, not even if it was a gift, it totally ruined our celebration, i could cook better myself at home. i think we would of been happier going to a local maqui for some bbq chicken and doppel. 10/10 Avoid the restaurant in the evening - go somewhere else cheaper and more to your taste in the town nearby.
