Die Lage ist gut, gutes Frühstück, rund um das Hotel gibt es viele gute Restaurants

Normalerweise mag ich dieses Unternehmen und wurde nicht enttäuscht, der Standard ist typisch für das Holiday Inn Express. Frühstück ausgezeichnet! Hatte ein kleines Problem mit dem WLAN im Zimmer, aber am nächsten Tag war alles gut.

Family Rooms are compact and not adequately lit. If booking for Family please bear in mind their sofa cum beds are pretty uncomfortable

The hotel was a really good location for me, it was clean and the free breakfast was a really good bonus. The staff were the highlight of this trip, all really friendly and approachable. They have facilities to store luggage so when I checked out I left my bag there. The only slight criticism is that I was expecting a double bed but had a twin room!

Booked for 10, 3 rooms were suggested, requested for a cot in one of the rooms. Turned out rooms are so small and cot cannot be fitted as requested. They decided to move us to a slightly bigger room (disabled room) to accommodate the cot. Upon check out, they said I owe them for changing me to another room. Was never informed about this prior to nor during the change process. During the stay, rooms were hardly cleaned and there's always an excuse for everything. Restaurant had crumbs on the seat from days past litter. Some reception staff seems new and somewhat rude. They sneakily tried to overcharge my card but my provider blocked it because it was not authorised. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a great time in Aberdeen was marred by the hotel experience. I will still visit Aberdeen but will be staying in another hotel.

Good location and 10 mins to the city centre. There is a big car park next to the hotel.

Simple but clean. It’s close to the bus station from and to the train and ferry station. Would be nice if the WiFi signal is more stable

A very basic hotel but clean. No fuss nor frills and if all you need is an economical hotel, this Holiday Inn is sufficient. A complaint though - we had accidentally left a portable car boot cover on the side street where our car was parked, in front of the hotel as we were trying to pack in our luggages. When we realised that we had left it behind, we called the concierge of Holiday Inn to inform them and if they could keep it aside for us to arrange a pick up. They informed us that indeed they had found it and kept it. However, when our friend arrived at the hotel that same afternoon to collect it, he found it thrown into a dumpster near the hotel. Regretfully, this incident has shed a bad light on the hotel and certainly leaves a question mark on its reliability.
