Travelodge Aberdeen Bucksburn

The hotel is in a great location in Aberdeen, it is clean, comfortable, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. Zanetta the manger of the hotel has become like a friend to us, over the last Months we have been coming here. We come here every time when we want to stay in Aberdeen for shopping or hospital-visits. If you want healthy food, there is Lidl supermarkets next door with an instore bakery, or if you want a take-away there is Mac-Donalds next door or there are fish and chip shops nearby or chinese take aways. plenty choice for food in the near surroundings. The hotel strives to please their customers and if you need anything, don't be afraid to ask. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are kitted out with a very easy to operate heater. you get 30 minutes free wifi. or 24 hours for just £3,-- We never go anywhere else when staying in Aberdeen. As this hotel is in the very best location for what we like to do, and is so friendly and comfortable.

Another brilliant stay at this Travelodge. Staff super friendly and very polite both on arrival and check out. My room was shiny and fresh, slept very good as bed is comfy and always enjoy a hot shower. For food options pub Four Mile Inn has 10% discount for hotel guests, just awesome!

An immaculately clean, warm, comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation option.Easy to Finland next door to facilities, including g a McDonald's! I could not fault this Travel Lodge for the price.

The furniture in the room was awful. The desk was all chipped in various places, the vinyl on the back of the chair was ripped and looks terrible. Lots of noise both inside and outside so won’t be staying here again.

Good location near the P and J Live centre. Just a 15 minute walk. Hotel was a little tired but bed was comfy and everything was clean. No restaurant or bar attached which was a bit of a shame and you have to pay for parking

Good value. Reception staff not very nice or helpful. Was not told about 10% discount at the Four Mile Inn. There was only one chair in room 4. You can watch rats outside near bins. Charge of £3 to park car.

The location isn't great for the city centre - the train station is around 8 kilometres away - but it is near TECA (1.25 km away) and there is a regular 20-minute 727 bus from the city centre to the airport every day. I stayed with my wife and daughter (room-only) and the triple room was functional and fine for 1 night. It was clean, spacious and the TV and in-bath shower worked. There is a couple of small shops and a takeaway a minute's walk away, and a pub (The Four Mile Inn) 5 minutes walk away across the main road. There is a McDonald's 200 metres away next to a Lidl store 300 metres along that road. As other reviewers have noted, there is some aircraft noise. Note that there is only 30 minutes of free wifi and there is also a parking charge. I'd happily use Travelodge here again, no complaints.

Spotless hotel, lovely and quiet staff were very friendly and welcoming . There was even a little robot vacuum doing it's rounds witch I thought was amazing lol beds were comfy and the bedding was spotless definitely coming back again so reasonably priced x

Visiting Family within the area of Travelodge I always use this Travelodge as it it convenient and close to family's home . It is quiet (except for planes and helicopters) with usual traffic ..but once you shut the windows .hear nothing...altho not good for summer months to come . Room veryyy basic but clean but windows could have been cleaned better as there was bird poo on them...not nice to look at.. Add more plug sockets or even usb sockets in line with other travelodges....update on decor and furnishings as most of them were ripped or chipped away at on long dressing table (,really should get that sorted )..well mine was..Room 10 and wider shower curtain as even though it was a shower in bath it still managed to get floor soaked. Also time and time again Travelodge should invest in small mini fridges for rooms . Also carpet could do with a shampoo more often looked a bit dated too. There is always a funny smell that comes from this travelodge..wether its the air freshner their using but i had to open both windows to get rid of that smell. I know its budget but still a few improvements wouldnt go amiss. Choice of 2 different kind of pillows in room ..mine were like sleeping on bricks..never slept properly for the 2 nights i was there ..rather had softer ones.. Kettle could be updated to . If you are looking for luxury..then this IS'NT the hotel for you ..would i book again this one ..probably because its basic and that reflects in price but i certainly would bring my OWN pillow next time . Good thing about location its next to McDonalds and a Lidl
