Cabin Hotel Aalborg is a budget hotel with a great location in the center of Aalborg. The hotel is within walking distance of most attractions in the city centre, the city's shopping streets and nightlife. The Limfjord is only a few meters from the hotel. We were quickly welcomed by a cheerful employee when we arrived at the hotel and the order was quickly found. We were informed about the times for breakfast and were given a brief description of the way to the room. The employee did not have a name badge or uniform, but was dressed informally. The same applied at check-out. Both at check-in and check-out we received both smiles and pleasant comments from the employees. The guest room appeared small and somewhat worn, but was clean and contained everything needed for a good night's sleep. The beds were nicely made and had clean and comfortable linen. The mattresses were in good condition. The guest room was equipped with a kettle, flat screen TV and individual air conditioning. However, the air conditioning did not work very well in our room. The bathroom was very small and there was no separate shower corner, but an impractical solution with a shower head on the ceiling in the middle of bathroom. The towels provided were clean and in good condition. The hotel had a pleasant lobby with several seating areas. It was also possible to buy snacks and beverages at the reception. The corridors and other common areas appeared somewhat worn and could have benefited from renovation. The cleanliness was generally good. Breakfast was served as a buffet, with a selection of both hot and cold dishes, as well as coffee, tea, juice and milk. However, the selection appeared somewhat limited and boring. The breakfast buffet was regularly replenished, but there were some empty dishes. The staff at breakfast were not very present and I missed both smiles, service comments, commitment and interest in me as a guest. As a budget hotel, the place worked well and I experienced getting good value for money. However, if you want something more than a bed and a quick overnight stay, I would choose another place.

If you want a comfortable bed and lovely bathroom then you have found it. Rooms are a little small and storage is limited but we spent a pleasant week here. If you are using public transport then the location is great being right next to the bus station and the railway is a 5 minute walk. Nice buffet breakfast and staff were friendly and recommended some places to visit.

Das ist ein relativ grundlegendes, standard Hotel, aber sie haben eine sehr begrüßenswerte Erfahrung gegeben. Es gibt Popcorn, Kuchen und Schleifenis kostenlos am Nachmittag, so war es schön, sich zu überprüfen. Das Zimmer war groß für 4, so dass eine der Betten in einem anderen Abschnitt des Zimmers. Es war auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes, so dass der Lärm sehr begrenzt war. Frühstück war OK, kann nicht wirklich erinnern, was sie leider hatten, also nichts besonderes. Gut gelegen, um einen Spaziergang im Zentrum von Aalborg zu machen. Private Parkplätze sind verfügbar, aber es gibt auch eine günstigere öffentliche nur rund um die Ecke. Ich empfehle einen Aufenthalt.

Wir blieben hier ab Sonntag - Dienstag im August 2022. Wir nahmen uns spät ein, aber sie haben automatisch vorbereitet, dass unser Schlüssel direkt über die Straße auf der 7-11 geholt wird, da wir spät einchecken (nach 22:00 Uhr). Das Personal war sehr freundlich und willkommen. Die Zimmer sind ok. Nicht klein und das Badezimmer war geräumig genug, aber es war ein wenig alt. Ich denke, wir waren ein wenig unglücklich mit unserem Zimmerplatzierung; wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt außerhalb der Rezeption, die Küche offenbar auch gestellt. Dies führte uns am ersten Abend um 6 Uhr von der Personalrede und von den Platten, die gegeneinander klammerten. Dies dauerte etwa 3 Stunden... Die zweite Nacht war besser, nachdem das Personal eine Tür geschlossen hat zwischen unserem Zimmer und der Rezeption (Wisst nicht, dass es eine zweite Tür gibt). Die Windows stehen direkt auf der berühmten Party Street in Jomfru Ane Street, so wenn Sie mit dem Windows offen schlafen wollen, müssen Sie etwas Lärm erwarten. Das Hotel hat Ohrringe im Zimmer bei der Ankunft platziert. Alles in allem sind wir froh mit unserem Aufenthalt außer der brutalen Erwachen am ersten Tag. Nicht zu preiswert, mit einer guten Lage im Stadtzentrum.

We booked a small hotel room knowing it was just for our last night of the holiday. Struggling up the steps of the hotel with heavy luggage, the guy on reception (manager/owner?) rushed out an helped me with my case. He said because we were booked in to a small room that was at the top of the hotel, where the lift wouldn't reach, he would upgrade us to a better room. He said my luggage was too heavy to lug up the stairs. The room was an average size and the bathroom was small, but the other room would definitely have been tiny. Had no fault with cleanliness, and the staff were all really nice. No aircon, but they had provided a fan.
