Not a 5 star hotel more like a 4. Food and attention to detail just not there. Pros - gorgeous hotel very modern and new got free upgrade to a larger room with a great view of halong bay however was a bit misleading as you can hear all the music very loudly in our room as it was two floors down from the pool bar so think they just needed to fill it haha. Gorgeous view from the rooftop pool too. Staff were nice and helpful despite the large language barrier thank god for google translate beds very comfy and room clean. Also our room had a bath and separate shower which was great as most hotels don’t Cons - food was shocking we ordered a few different things as there’s not much in the area and we were knackered most evenings after long days exploring honestly don’t know why we kept ordering haha it’s our own fault but everything was bland and tasteless and SO expensive like £6 for some unseasoned chips £7 for a frozen burger £8 for some fried rice with 0 taste. So disappointing every time we got something the cocktails are expensive too and very basic not horrible but just basic something you’d expect in a 3 star all inclusive resort. Then just little things that make it a 4 not a 5 like the food tray being left outside our room for hours on end, there being loads of sticky fingers prints on touch points like the elevator buttons / toilet doors. Didn’t ruin our stay at all we had a lovely time at the hotel just wish we’d eaten elsewhere Also would suggest to stay on the other side of the bridge if you’re coming to halong bay as this side is super dead and quiet not a lot of shops or anything to do.

This hotel was stunning, rooms, view, food and staff were 5 star. Trang was amazing and helped us with suggestions on where to go in the city and we were very pleased. They changed money for us multiple times with no hesitation. Helped us organise taxis, and were over all so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with a huge variety of food. Shower was probably one of the best we have had in vietnam ...hot water great pressure amd spotless.

Unsere Familienreise mit 2 Kindern und Großmutter in diesem Hotel war hervorragend. Schon der Empfang durch den Gäste Service Manager Herr Vu Nhu Tung (Toby) war zugewandt und sehr Aufmerksam bei der Zimmervergabe. Der Blick vom Zimmer aus dem 22. Stock auf die Halong-Bay mit den Inseln war atemberaubend schön. Die Zimmer perfekt sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig mit westlichen und asiatischen Angeboten - das war wichtig für unsere gemischte Familie. Schöne Schwimmbäder und Sozialräume. Das Personal immer zuvorkommend und freundlich. Insbesondere Frau ”Tracy” vom Empfang hat uns große Freude bereitet. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Thomas Sebald (Darmstadt)

We stayed here towards the end of our trip. It was a great place to switch off and relax on the balcony, read a book, go to the gym, go for a swim in the pool etc. There are lots of kids around given it's a family friendly place. The buffet breakfast was really yummy with lots of different options (I'm gluten intolerant and there was still plenty to choose from). We paid for the buffet dinner one night which was nice however, I was expecting there to be some drinks other than water and tea/coffee on offer, you could buy drinks through the bar for an additional cost. Grounds are kept really well and the boat to and from the mainland was cool too.

Meine Suite war geräumig mit Blick auf die Stadt, aber das Design war sehr altmodisch und nicht elegante. Einrichtungen und Einrichtungen waren nur durchschnittlich. Frühstück hatte einige Wahlen. Qualität und Service waren nur akzeptabel.

Tolle Lage, in Gehweite zum Ha Long-Nachtmarkt und zu allen Geschäften und Restaurants entlang der Ha Long-Straße. Guter Service, nettes Personal, ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbüfett. Sauberes, geräumiges und komfortables Zimmer. Das einzige Problem war die lärmende Menge, die dafür sorgte, dass man sich am Frühstücksbüfett des Hotels wie auf einem unorganisierten Flohmarkt fühlte. Die Leute drängten sich an allen Büfettstationen, sie schrien (riefen sich gegenseitig), sie redeten alle extrem laut, als ob sie alle halb taub wären. Ziemlich enttäuschend, dieses Verhalten in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel zu sehen.

We wanted a hotel instead of usual overnight cruise for flexibility at night. Best Western Sapphire Ha Long was one of the few hotels where we could preselect ocean view room instead of it being up to chance/luck. The hotel itself was stunning! The staff so thoughtful, helpful and courteous that really elevated the experience to something very special. The hotel and rooms are very luxurious! We chose the 2 br oceanview and all rooms had amazing views, with the lounge having a balcony along with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay. It was so lovely relaxing. We had a drizzly day but it was still so special. The official photos are exactly what you get and are honest in their representation. The buffet breakfast is enormous in variety! Full Western and Asian selections with salads, pastries, noodles, congee, juice and muesli, hot cooked buffets just to name a few. There was plenty with no sign of running out when we were there (Dec). The breakfast room was huge and elegant. Definitely worth adding it on to your stay! We were warned by others that the location is not convenient to main centre, which was good advice, as it is about 15 mins drive over the bridge. However it is not so isolated from other things and there were many restaurants and cafes around it and the walkways along the way stunning. We were kind of just wanting to chill when no on the cruise so this was perfect for us! I would definitely recommend and hope to return one day.

Very poor service, no proper check in information, only breakfast time mentioned, all other information had to ask by myself. In general all staff needs proper training how to talk to guests. Not just answers like robots. While waiting for checkin (arrived before checkin time) asked if we can chill at the pool after lunch, staff answered immediately “it is hot there.”well that’s why we want to chill at the pool. During whole stay no one asked how is our experience. One time during busy dinner foreigner manager came to our table and asked only “are you guys well take care of?” I answered it’s ok. He didn’t bother to ask more. It was during dinner when glass of wine and tonic water arrived 20 minutes after it was ordered. Salad was finished already, my sandwich was wrong, they forgot about chicken. After telling it to the staff they just add few slices of cold chicken in club sandwich. Waitress My did good job, but they don’t have enough staff and she can’t take care of everything. Other restaurant staff don’t speak much English. When I ordered few slices of cheese for breakfast they did omelet with cheese. Next day was breakfast buffet due to higher occupancy with good variety of food, but quality is average for Mgallery. One more issue, our first night was not that busy since next day they did not do buffet for breakfast but a la care with few choices. They put us in the room next to family with little babe who was crying all the time. Rooms are not sound proof you can hear everything. I called reception and asked to move the room. Staff was friendly and confirmed that they can change it, but there was no apology, only “ok we will change your room”. The worst part was that when we were getting ready to change room housekeeping lady enter the room with own key. She said “housekeeping” and the same time opened the door, which is not acceptable. She didn’t seems to understand that she did something wrong. She wanted to check the room since we will be moving to other room. I was shocked. In general it looks like whole facility is left to run by staff without proper training and guest experience. Facility is great and could be amazing stay, overall wasn’t. Good points: apricot liquor cocktail was good, vegetarian curry was good, My waitress tired her best and very friendly, chef Hieu also very friendly person.

In der näheren Umgebung gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine Vielzahl von Restaurants und die Markthalle. Leicht zu erreichen ist die Seilbahn mit dem Vergnügungspark. Das Hafenterminal ist in ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen.

Essen Sie wirklich viele Orte, die nicht lecker in Ha Long wie das Yatch Hotel Halong von DC sind. Chef Dat von berühmten 5 * Hotels in Hanoi ist der Faktor, der hier den Unterschied zu erzeugen. Mein Mann und ich sind sehr begeistert vom Hotel, der Service 1A mit * , besonders die Managerin und ihrer Empfangsdamen, sehr zuverlässig und sind tut jeder Hilfe zur Stelle. Für die Flitterwochen hat es total gelohnt, bequemes Bett und wunderschönes Zimmer, das Essen auch sehr sehr lecker, besonders wenn man traditionelle Gerichte Probiert. Die Attraktionen sind vom Hotel 10 min mit einem Taxi erreichbar und auch vom Hotel zum Flughafen oder zur anderen Stadt, ergibt es sich, dass einem eine Limousine (Mini Bus) gestellt wird, die einen zum Ort bringt. Wir sind total begeistert und würden in nahe Zukunft auch mit Kindern wieder kommen, zudem das Hotel auch total Kinder freundlich ist. Wir bedanken uns herzlichst für den tollen Service.

Отель понравился. Находится на возвышенности. До городского пляжа примерно минут 10-15 пешком, столько же до парка развлечений, до порта минут 10 на машине. Встретили очень приветливо, персонал дружелюбный, помогает во всем, разговаривает на английском. В номере чисто, комфортно, есть все необходимое. На крыше есть небольшой бассейн, там же можно заказать кофе, соки, приятно провести время. Завтрак вкусный)

For those like my son and I who are visiting Vietnam for the first time, some advise. The islands of HaLong bay are some of the most beautiful natural wonders you will ever see. Absolutely worth experiencing during your life. What we didn't know is HaLong Bay (a 4 hour drive from Hanoi) really has absolutely nothing to offer other than boat cruise departures to tour the islands. We had planned to spend two days (and two nights) at HaLong bay, thinking the bay itself was a destination. It's not. Advise is to either take a day tour from Hanoi (many companies offer tours from hotels) or book a 2 night cruise. It's a long day for a day tour from Hanoi, but in hindsight we would have been able to spend an extra day in the amazing city of Hanoi. Hotel was not nice. The most expensive hotel in five different cities in Vietnam. Asked to have the hair on the bathroom floor cleaned up twice and it was still there when we left. On the plus side, great air conditioning and great water pressure in the shower!!

The cruise is very nice and clean. The room is spacious and has very nice view. The service is good. They have activities for guests to enjoy like kayaking, cooking class, and dark and bright cave visit. The food provided is somehow decent for me comparing to the price I paid. For 2 days 1 night, they provided a buffet lunch, a set menu dinner and light breakfast and brunch on Day 2. But overall, it was a good experience.

Die Erfahrung auf Erina Cruise war perfekt. Das Boot ist sehr komfortabel und schön. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und luxuriös. Das Bett war perfekt, leider nicht mehr Zeit zu schlafen. Das Boot bietet zahlreiche Aktivitäten für die Reisenden: Fischen, Fahrradtouren, Tauchen, Strände, Live-Shows, Kajak, Heizungspool, Kabel-TV usw. Die eingeschlossenen Mahlzeiten sind sehr lecker und der Service im Restaurant ist bemerkenswert. Die Reinigung des Zimmers war hervorragend. Ich danke besonders für die Beamten Lee, die nett war und hat sogar einige Worte in meiner Sprache gelernt, um mit mir zu kommunizieren. Die Musik auf dem Boot war auch sehr angenehm. Um den anderen Reisenden zu helfen, lassen Sie mir zwei Tipps: 1 - Sie nehmen mindestens 2 Nächte, um die Erfahrung zu nutzen. Ha Long Bay verdient jede Aufmerksamkeit. 2 - Das Internet ist ziemlich instabil. Wenn Sie arbeiten müssen, prüfen Sie eine Alternative zu dem an Bord angebotenen.

Unsere Transfer nach+fro Hanoi wurde nicht enthalten musste eigene Vereinbarung machen, die uns kosten USD20 1 Weg. Beim Erreichen des Halong Terminal thr-Checkin war einfach. Die Crew an Bord sind freundlich und immer lächeln. Einrichtungen in den Kabinen waren großartig, die Nahrung ist von hoher Qualität. Nur ein Problem war das kostenlose Internet, das nicht die meisten Zeit funktioniert.

If you are looking for a Hotel near the Marina so you can board your Cruise in the morning then seriously consider this Hotel. The staff was pleasant and waited for our late arrival then arranged for us to be driver to the terminal on their EV. All four of us really enjoyed our stay here and wished we stayed an extra day instead of Hanoi. We arrived late so we didn't get to sample their cuisine but we had an enjoyable Breakfast Buffet.

Wir hatten eine große Zeit in der großen Pradise. Vollkommen zufrieden mit dem Service und dem Reiseroute. Besonders dank Tom, der mein Tisch serviert hat. Meine Eltern fühlten sich sehr wohl mit seinem Dienst. Seit der Reise ist es eine Woche. Wir verpassen bereits die Reise auf dem großen Paradies Kreuzfahrt.

If you travel to Vietnam, taking a Cruise to Halong Bay should be in your TO DO list. It’ll make your trip remarkable and special. We chose 2 days / 1 night trip to this amazing place with Peony Cruises. It was All Inclusive with 4 times food (lunch, dinner, breakfast, brunch). The staff was very kind and attentive. They even changed some of the foods for dinner, bcoz we didn’t eat seafood. That was so sweet from their side. Indeed, the food was appetizing. We went kayaking, enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets and admired the stunning views. Then we visited Trung Trang Cave which was so astonishing.

I went on the cruise with my two sons, and we had a fantastic time. This was definitely the highlight of our entire Vietnam trip! The views were like heaven on earth, and being surrounded by karst islands from the ship felt truly magical. Our room was spacious, and we made full use of the jacuzzi and balcony, soaking in the stunning scenery. While there were only a few activities, they were perfect for someone like me in my 60s or for those who prefer a more relaxing cruise experience. We still got to enjoy a bamboo boat ride, explore the Dark and Bright Cave, take part in a cooking class, fishing village tour, and try squid fishing The food was excellent, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly. Thank you for making our Vietnam trip so memorable!

Buch 02 Deluxe Suite Zimmer, geräumige, komfortable, aufmerksames Servicepersonal. Die Einrichtungen im Zimmer fehlen jedoch noch einige wie: alte Toilette, gelbliche Farbe; keine Dusche mit einem Fenster geputzt; schlechte Fang-TV, vor allem Chinesisch. schmales Frühstücksgebiet(muss insputzt werden), wenige Lebensmittel; Fruchtwasser ist geboxt, Nicht echt;...

Das Hotel ist nahe dem Eingangshafen. Das Hotel ist umgeben von Cafés. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung und ruhig. Die Einrichtungen sind voll. Der Preis ist immer noch fair. Eine sehr gute Erfahrung mit einem Ausland.

Das neue Hotel ist schön und luxuriös mit einem schönen Frühstück. Das Zimmer ist schön mit einem hohen Blick auf ganz China. Meine Familie hatte hier eine ziemlich gute Erfahrung. Frühstück, obwohl es an diesem Tag ziemlich leer war, das Hotel serviert noch ein Buffet. Vollservice. Der Pool ist Teil für Kinder ziemlich viele meiner Kinder wie es.

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, bequem zu reisen. Zimmer sind groß, sauber. Freundliches Personal, wechseln Sie in ein Eckezimmer, wenn die Gäste fragen. Neben dem Hotel ist eine karaoke gemischte Bar, so wenn in den Halsräumen 01-04 es ein wenig laut sein wird.
