We visited in July 2022. You have to be aware this area is predominantly holiday spot/area for the Spanish, so the use of the English language is limited. Many local restaurants do not have Emglish translations for their menus. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. My wife and I speak basic Spanish and our daughter is fluent. That said the lady on reception when we checked in did speak a little English. The rooms were very comfortable, not overly luxurious, room amenities were a TV, fridge and safe. Rooms had wifi service. The pool was never that busy, in fact it was pretty deserted until the late afternoon. Due to the proximity to the hotel and other nearby hotels, if you want to sizzle in the sun you will have to move your sunbed at some point. It was in the 40 degrees during our stay, as Spain was in the middle of a heatwave There was a manned bar a few yards from the pool and several tables and seat should you wish to sit and have a coffee. In fairness this is not really the hotel for anyone who just wants a sit by the pool all day holiday. We did not try the restaurant for lunch or dinner. Breakfast was really good, a mix of hot and cold fair (again very Spanish but totally delicious). The is a small super market a few minutes walk and a ton of great restaurants within easy walking distance. The town does get really busy at night especially the beach area, loads of shops open in the evening and we found some of the more popular restaurants we booked the day or two before visiting to be assured a table. The big question is would we go there again. The answer is we are already booked in for 2023 as for us this hotel was perfect. Yes there are larger and more luxurious hotels in Gandia but they are also a lot more expensive, without really adding that much, unless you really need a spar.

The hotel is small but quirky. We had a superior room which provided us with a roof terrace which had 2 sofas and was partly under cover. There were roller shutters as well as a toldo and a super efficient air conditioning unit. Unfortunately the advertised coffee making facility was not provided and we never got it during our 4 night stay either. There is no fridge in the room but a small one in the reception area for everybody to use. We were a bit disappointed that there was no small table included next to the armchair. That would have been useful. Also there were no shelves in the wardrobe. A double wardrobe with 4 clothes hangers but no shelves nor drawers is a bit puny. Entrance to the front door and your room is via a code which is an excellent idea. The hotel was very quiet even though it allowed dogs. The location is a short stroll from the harbour and beginning of the promenade and there are a number of restaurants and cafes, panerderias and a Más y Más close by. All in all a nice budget hotel. When you go to restaurants nearby ,note that they open quite late in the evening (7.30 at the earliest) and ask for prices up front. We ordered a bottle of house wine for a certain price only to be told after a while that only the more expensive one was available. That happened in 2 different restaurants The cafe at the corner does lovely tostadas for breakfast, it is just across the road. Several eateries in a side street leading to a plaza also more or less across the street from the hotel Superior room on top (4th) floor with high ceiling (lift stops at floor 3) is spacious with a lovely terrace If you bring your dog, you pay a deposit of €30 at the beginning of your stay, which will be returned provided your dog hasn't done any damage

lovely modern hotel, in the centre of Gandia Playa (beach), and walking distance from the Playa Renfe train station, with direct trains to Valencia city. .Welcomed to the hotel by a lovely receptionist who worked previously in the UK, and given a modern clean, and cozy room, overlooking the beach with a nice terrace The hotel is really comfortable, and will be back again later in the year.

Das Hotel verfügt über moderne, renovierte Zimmer. Das Bett und die sehr komfortablen Kissen, das Badezimmer ist gut, ich hatte es für alles, was ich gelesen hatte, schlimmer erwartet, aber es ist sehr gut und sauber, die einzige Pelle wäre, dass es einen Garten anstatt eine Mampara hat. Das Frühstück, wie ein Buffet, verfügt über eine Vielzahl von Süß- und Warmsalzen, super gut. Im Gegenteil, das Abendessen, auch als Buffet, hat uns etwas zu wünschen übrig gelassen, was für die Qualität des Fleisches im Allgemeinen, aber für den angepassten Preis, den es hat, kann man nicht mehr verlangen. ¡ Empfehlenswert 100%!

Completely comprised by the worst checking-in experience of our lives 5.0 Liked · The breakfast buffet was very good. Excellent coffee, good variety of options. Nice breakfast room, not over crowded. Disliked · Checking in at reception was the worst experience of many years of checking in at many types of hotels, in many countries, for both business and pleasure. It was the most unwelcoming process, where my wife and I felt like potential criminals. We had paid in full, in advance, when making the booking, for the six nights. That's fine. We were asked for our credit card to be scanned for a pre-authorisation. Why? we asked. ”Its for security for the room” we were told. My wife asked ”is this in case we damage or trash the room”. The receptionist smiled and nodded. Then came the ”terms and conditions” which we were asked to sign. This was four A4 pages of small font script, in SPANISH. ”Fine we said, Can we have the English version?” We don't speak Spanish and are from Ireland. We can't sign a four page document we can't read. Besides which we are fully paid in advance and you have additionally taken an authorisation of our card for any damage that we cause. What further assurances are required in a four page document. We explained very calmly and politely that we can't sign a document we can't understand. Another receptionist colleague offered to translate the ”important bits” of the document for us verbally. We declined. A signature on a document is a legally binding acceptance of the document in its totality. Ignorance is no defence in law. They had another mini conference about this with what appeared to be a shift manager, ( who didn't acknowledge us or come over to where we were standing at reception) and then they advised us that they would translate the document using A.I. but after another 15 minutes of us waiting then announced that they couldn't translate it. They would allow us to complete check-in and if we came back to the reception desk the following day they should have a translation for us to sign. We didn't go back to the reception.

Het hotel ligt vlakbij het strand. Het hotel was heerlijk. Fijne keuken, prettig personeel en een zeer goede ligging. Kamer is ruim. Wel 1 minpunt. Er schijnt per 1 september 2023 een wetswijziging op het gebied van roken te zijn in Spanje. Dit is echt afgrijselijk. Er mag namelijk overal gerookt worden op het terras (Ook het overdekte stuk). De stank is vervolgens in de lobby te ruiken. Er wordt zelfs bij het zwembad gerookt! Mag niet maar dat interreseert de roker niet, die gooit zijn peuk gewoon in een plastic glaasje met een bodempje vocht, heb je geen asbak nodig, toch? Tip voor het hotel, maak het hotel echt rookvrij en creer een kleine ruimte bij de trap van 4 bij 4 meter waar alleen daar gerookt mag worden. Parkeergarage is er maar die zit wel gauw vol. Dus wees voorbereid. Parkeren in de buurt kan en is gratis maar erg druk. Wij komen zeker terug!Complimenten nogmaals voor het hotel.

Ein einfaches und sehr ruhiges Hotel in der Nähe des Strandes. Sehr gute Preisqualität. Das bemerkenswerteste ist die freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter (Essen, Café, Rezeption, Reinigung ....), die Reinigung des gesamten Hotels und die Ruhe der Gegend. Das Essen ist sehr gut gekocht, aber es gibt sehr wenige Variabilität . Wie Dinge, um die Schwimmbadschuhe, die bereits ziemlich alt sind ..., würden sie ändern müssen. , übrigens alles gut mit einem drei-Sterne-Stern und dem Preis
