Just returned from a week at Hotel Villa Pina. Views from #301 were spectacular. We made full use of the terrace to relax and read and drink cold wine. Fresh white cotton sheets and towels changed every day. Substantial continental breakfast and delicious freshly prepared three course evening meals served by attentive and friendly staff every evening. I must mention that it is the Italian tradition to serve a generous pasta portion as a first course. It is entirely usual that the second course is a more modest and very flavoursome meat or fish course. And of course homemade Italian desserts are sweet and heavy. I think some reviewers perhaps had different expectations of a traditional Italian hotel and perhaps would prefer a modern European generic hotel instead. We loved our week and did not have time or inclination to search for damaged furniture or cracked tiles. Instead we admired the interesting antiquities displayed around the hotel which has been family run since 1909. We loved the storytelling displayed in the old black and white photographs in abundance around the restaurant. Instead we ordered an after-dinner glass of wine and enjoyed the spectacular sunsets over Capri and Vesuvius. Thank you to our kind hosts. We only have good memories.

Wir haben eine Woche hier verbracht, die Wohnung war komplett ausgestattet, sehr sauber und hatte eine grosse Terrasse mit wunderschönem Ausblick. Das Frühstück bot verschiedene Zubereitungen von Eiern neben dem üblichen Angebot in Italien. Wir haben jeden Abend im Restaurant gegessen, wobei jeder Sonderwunsch erfüllt wurde. Einmalig freundlicher Service, sehr aufmerksam. Luigi Ruoppo ist ein unglaublicher netter Gastgeber und verfügt über ein äussert professionelles Team an Mitarbeitern, dass alles tut, um den Aufenthalt unvergesslich zu machen.

Although the first impression of the place is not the best (espcially if you arrive at night as it was our case), as soon as you step inside the place, everything changes. It is located inside a convent, with six rooms - we occupied a 4-bedroom and a 2-bedroom both of them spacious, quiet and clean. Breakfast is absolutely marvelous, comprising many homemade pastries, cereal and excellent capuccinos!! The place has a terrace with magnificent views of the sunset on the sea, with some tables or chairs to have a drink. There is also a restaurant a few steps beside which is an excellent option for dinner. Sabrina and Giullia are always available for advice either in person or by wapp and they really run this place as a family bussiness. Thank you both for your patience and your help. A really lovely hotel. Beautiful light, airy foyer to sit in. Nice double room with private balcony table and chairs. Small ensuite with a great shower. Everything was clean and tidy. All the staff were friendly and helpful. From the reception desk, cleaners, shuttle driver and owners everyone was lovely. There is a lift to all floors. You can literally step onto the beach as there is no main road. Parking is up the hill ( safe and secure) and the hotel offer a free shuttle service when you need it. It wasn't busy when we were here but maybe gets busier in the summer. Everyday, fresh delicious breakfasts, with great coffee and beautiful views overlooking the bay. In the village there are 4/5 restaurants all offering great menus. So no need to leave ever...unless you want to see the sights in Sorrento/Amalfi or if you have to come home. I did not want to come home! The only downside were the mosquitos. This was not the hotels fault. The rooms/hotel have plug in mozzi repellant but beyond that in the great outdoors its fair game! To put this in perspective My husband only had 2 bites with no reaction over the week however the mozzies clearly found me delicious and within 2 days I had 50 bites so had to find a chemist for mosquito spray and antihistamines. Note- Easy to find a chemist in Sorrento and shop staff were helpful AND the mosquito spray worked well. I really loved this hotel, the whole village is perfect.

Wir haben insgesamt 12 Tage in der Casa verbracht und uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist traumhaft direkt am Meer und wunderschön ruhig. Wenn man den ganzen Tag an der Amalfiküste, in Sorrento oder Capri mit den Touristenmassen unterwegs war, war es eine Wohltat, auf der Terrasse den Sonnenuntergang genießen zu können. Die Lage der Casa ist optimal: Man wohnt strategisch sehr günstig „mittig“ und ist in alle Richtung unterwegs. Gleichzeitig kann man in der umliegenden Dörfern noch das ursprüngliche italienische Leben kennenlernen. Wir hatten ein Mietauto, was aufgrund der etwas einsamen Lage durchaus zu empfehlen ist. Luigi ist ein sehr netter und aufmerksamer Gastgeber und sein Team einfach unschlagbar! Unbedingt die Restaurant und Touren- Tipps beherzigen! Die Zimmer sind sehr neuwertig und gemütlich eingerichtet und das Frühstück ein toller Start in den Tag! Wir haben uns in den fast 2 Wochen schon sehr heimisch gefühlt und es war uns immer eine Freude, wieder zu kommen!

Das Komplex ist aus der Sicht des Gartens und der Lage der verschiedenen Räume innerhalb der Struktur angenehm, ein großer Patio ist dann auf jeden Zimmer mit Sitze und Tische gewidmet. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel mit Klimaanlage, bequem Bett, aber das Badezimmer ist klein. Viele dieser Räume haben auch eine Küche mit einem Mindestmaß an Sitzplätze und Gerichte, natürlich ist der Kühlschrank mit einem Kühlschrank vorhanden. Das Zimmer hat Schrauben an den Wänden, alles in der Tat überraschend. Das Fenster ermöglicht es, wenig Außenlicht zu bekommen, dann öffnen Sie sie von dem, der durchgeht. Gut ist das Innenparken, da draußen überall bezahlt wird. Schlechtes Frühstück: Gefrierte Kornette schlecht gekocht, wenige andere Wahl zu essen, wie Supermarkt-Plum-Kake. Auch der Kaffee/Cappuccino war nicht gut, obwohl es eine effiziente Maschine hatte. Das Komplex befindet sich auf einer Straße in dieser weit verbreiteten Gemeinde von Massa Lubreense (16 Bruchstücke), fast in der Mitte von nichts. Die Strände sind etwa 20 Autominuten zu erreichen, man bezahlt, und Salat, jede Parkplätze von 3 Euro/Stunden. Es scheint, dass es gute öffentliche Mittel gibt, die nur wenig unterwegs sind.

Wir lieben diesen Ort. Große Zimmer riesig komfortable Bett mit sauberem Bett und wunderschöner Aussicht. Gutes Klimaanlage in meinem Zimmer. Das Frühstück auf dem Sonnendeck ist großartig mit einer breiten Palette von gekochten und kalten und leckeren Weidereien. Das Hotelpersonal aus der Maya kommt jeden Morgen und hilft sich beim Frühstück und Kaffee kostenlos, was ein wenig irritierend ist. Es gibt keine Mitarbeiter auf der Website (außer die schöne Frühstücksfrau am Morgen). Ich stimme anderen Bewertern zu, dass einige Teile des Hotels eine gewisse Renovierung benötigen, aber ich habe nichts daran gedacht. Beachten Sie, dass es keine Bar, keine Alkohol und keine Nahrung im Hotel gibt außer Frühstück. Ein regelmäßiger Shuttle bringt Sie nach dem Maya Resort mit extremeley teuer Nahrungsmittel und Getränke - eine kleine Flasche Bier ist 10 Euro. Das Hotel di Vista bietet einen Waschservice, aber es dauert drei Tage! Seien Sie sicher, dass dies ein hoher Moskitobereich ist, so lassen Sie Ihre Balkontüren nicht offen.

For several years now, I have been spending my holidays in this enchanting place, nestled in a breathtaking natural setting that offers spectacular views and unparalleled tranquility. That being said, the true strength of this establishment is the staff, which sets it apart from the surrounding accommodations. From the moment of arrival to departure, the staff ( receptionists, bar and cleaning staff) is extremely friendly, attentive, and responsive to guests' needs. I would even say they make you feel like family. Their dedication and genuine desire to make the stay as comfortable as possible more than compensate for the structural shortcomings, which could benefit from some improvements to enhance the quality of life. Without the extraordinary and caring team that takes care of Gocce di Capri, the experience would be entirely different. Their warmth transforms an already beautiful place into one you wish to return to, stay at, and never leave.

Comfortable room with great views /air con across the sea and a balcony. Breakfast was good with great selection and option of cook to order eggs/pancakes. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. Restaurant food ( roof top) was very good but expensive. Location was very quiet as start of season, and Ferry only goes to Amalfi and Positano at fixed times, so for more options will need to either drive or hire private boat or driver. We were quoted 500-800 euros. This may improve later in season ? Very clean throughout. let down by :- Poor quality linen and towels. Poor quality toiletries - sachets of shampoo/body wash. No conditioner or body lotion, cheap toilet paper that needed replacing every day. For a 4 star hotel expect much better. Shower leaked and requires a refurb. old fashioned cubicle with ill fitting door/seals. Had to pay to access roof top pool /bar/restaurant = 20 Euro PP - credit given against expenditure in bar. Pool was more like a shallow plunge pool, not a swim pool- 3 ft max. 75 Euro PP for 2 hour access to Spa area. Car parking Advertised 20 Euro per night but charged 30 as the hire car was a Cupra ?? Sound proofing between rooms needs improving. We had to turn up TV to avoid listening to couple next door every night. If you are looking for a quiet retreat with a pebble beach and a swim in the sea with some very good restaurants then this is the place to be, just find another hotel that provides value for money.

Very clean, bright, airy, family run hotel, in a superb location, with the most pleasant and helpful staff and amazing views especially from the pool and poolside restaurant/bar! Great air con, which is very quiet. Food and service excellent (sometimes breakfast options not replenished for those wanting a later breakfast!) Away from the hustle and bustle of town centre but everything easily accessible; 5 minute bus ride into centre of Sorrento, 2 minutes to Massa Lubrense (In Sorrento, we got on/off bus at petrol garage/La Fenice restaurant as at Marina Grande end of Corso Italia which is main shopping street, off which lots of lovely restaurants) Bus passes hotel in both directions every 20 minutes and costs 2 euro pp Hotel staff can arrange all excursions which are good value for money and include hotel pick up/drop off. Be sure to research what's available at your excursion destination and transport links so to make the best of your free time during the excursion and avoid missing anything! Staff are also happy to arrange taxis/airport transfers. The small, quiet beach of San Montano is walkable from hotel (approx 20 min). The hotel can arrange a shuttle to Marina di Puolo (approx 5min) and the stunning Regina Giovanna is a 5 min bus ride, followed by 20 min walk NB Walking to beaches is downhill, uphill return is more challenging! All well worth a visit. Massa Lubrense itself has a lovely town square and pretty port. There is an amazing restaurant there, Il Cantuccio, which has excellent food and wine and the most stunning views and sunsets. A visit to the traditional lemon farm near the hotel is a must to try making your own limoncello and have a fabulous lunch (can be arranged by the hotel)
