In 2022-2023 my experience at this hotel is quite good, it's really comfortable to stay 2-3 nights for business trip: it's next to Train station (so u could drop off ur luggage right the moment u arrive at Nantes), after a work day, u could take time to walk along the canal Saint Felix, as well as visit the old castle, the old city center. Mercure Nantes is also near the Conference - Exhibition Complex called La Cité des Congrès de Nantes to see some spectables, concerts such as Shen Yun, Le lac des cygnes. The room is quiet, i do love so much the view, the bathroom is clean and nice light system as well as television, wardrobes (small but smart). The morning buffet is diversified and fresh. You could ask to staff to make Cappuccino/ Machiato(they do very well) . I was here 3 times already, 3 differents room at different floor but never had prob with sleeping. The staff is friendly (women who tidy room), the staff at buffet as well i did love the dinner service in room, very well prepared. This month I enjoyed the lunch at terrasse. So I do appreciate all services they could offer up to now. Thank you.

Das Mercure Nantes Centre Grand Hotel ist natürlich kein Grand Hotel sondern ein von der Kette übernommenes Traditionshaus in hervorragender Lage in der Innen- stadt. Wir hatten eine der Suiten zum ruhigen Innenhof, ordentlich, doch mit abge- nutzten Möbeln und für Gepäck schlecht ausgerüstet, sodass der gesamte Raum bald zur Ablage wurde. Das Bad, für eine Person konzipiert, erforderte gefährliche Klettereien und ist für ältere Personen ungeeignet. Doch dies ist ja schon durch die Geschäftsleitung signalisiert worden, wurde die Suite doch nach einem großen französischen Ozean-Segler benannt, der sicher extrem wendig gewesen sein muss. Das Frühstücksbuffet bewegte sich im Rahmen eines 3-4 Sterne Hotels und war akzeptabel. Empfehlenswert ist dieses Hotel vor allem wegen seiner Zentrali- tät im Stadtkern und der Nähe zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt.

I have stayed in this hotel before. I liked it's location, close to the train station and bus stop to the airport. During the pandemic, Accor the owners of the Adagio chain of hotels decided to cancel all reward points accumulated by their customers who did not stay in their hotels during the previous year. My points that I had built up were all deleted, even though we could not travel during the pandemic. As a result I now choose Accor Hotels as my second choice rather than first choice of places to stay. We decided to stay here for two nights recently. One night at the beginning of our holiday to the coast and a second night at the end of our trip to the coast. We needed a hotel close to the bus stop to the airport as we were getting an early flight. I booked this hotel three months before travelling. I requested a room on the first floor, overlooking the front of the hotel with a walk in shower. On arrival, I was offered a room on the third floor, at the back of the building with a bath. After giving them three months notice I thought that they might have actually read my requests. I stood my ground and eventually a room on the first floor, back of hotel with shower was located for me. It was a decent sized room with good air conditioning and good shower. The bed pillows have to be the worst I have ever slept on. Tiny balls of air. You end up effectively sleeping flat on the bed. I ended up propping up the pillows using towels from the bathroom. When we returned to the hotel after our weeks stay on the coast we were left waiting until 3.30 before a room was eventually found for us. Many other people were standing around reception also waiting to check in. Rooms were nor ready. Maybe they should employ more staff to deal with this. The first thing we noticed in our room was a section of the roof in the bathroom hanging down over the toilet. It looked incredibly dangerous. Our room had only just been cleaned. I cannot understand why the person cleaning the room could not have reported this danger. As there were no other rooms available in the hotel we felt that we would have to grin and bear it as we had been sitting in reception for over an hour waiting for this room to be allocated to us.

If you are going there by car, you are in for a challenge as of May 2022: the hotel is in a pedestrianised area so Google tells you that you can’t reach it by car, and the hotel website tells you to park in ‘Parking Graslin’ which is less than 5 minutes’ walk away. I say pedestrianised, but with large numbers of bikes, electric scooters, kids on skate boards, etc… you had better keep your wits about you. Parking Graslin: the catch is getting there in the car: a labyrinth of one-way streets and road closures for construction make it frustratingly difficult to reach. We finally managed with some directions from the hotel receptionist. The overnight parking cost €10.50 from about 3pm to 9am. The local authorities are clearly keen to dissuade people from driving in town, but at least they have a seemingly good tram and bus service. The hotel is very centrally located and beside the Passage Pomeray, an up-market shopping arcade which warrants a brief exploration. The interior decorator must have been fixated on black: most of the walls are black (photos attached) including the bathrooms (save for white tiles). Maybe they think it vaguely chic, but in my humble opinion it is oppressive and makes for ineffective lighting. There was no complimentary water in the fridge. The room controls indicated it was not possible to turn down the temperature below 20 Centigrade. The air-con fan was set on maximum but we could not feel any air movement in the room. The alternative of course is to open the doors onto the Juliet balcony, but our room was over a narrow side street and you inevitably get the noise of revellers, drunks, street cleaning machines, dustmen and delivery lorries. Earplugs are recommended. The bathroom had a large mirror, but you could not get within about 70 cms of it and there was no make-up/shaving mirror. The bed was a standard double. Breakfast was overpriced at €17 each – we have known much better breakfasts for less. The Taverne Royale in nearby Place Royale does a simple breakfast for €7.50, which would suit us better.

Schönes Eigentum mit großem Personal Unser Zimmer im 6. Stock war vor dem Gebäude über die Bars und Restaurants und war daher ziemlich laut in den frühen Stunden des Morgens musste Fenster öffnen, weil Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert als ob links geschlossen das Zimmer war sehr heiß 🥵 Obwohl das Zimmer kompakte Bettwäsche , Handtücher und Toiletten waren von guter Qualität, da wir sprechen Spanisch & Englisch, aber keine Kanäle benutzen diese Sprachen nicht einmal Nachrichten Das Zimmer war Staub und sicher hatte eine Fehler, den ich an der Rezeption erwähnte, als nicht verwendet werden konnte - aber das Zimmer insgesamt hat die Arbeit für 2 Nächte und wir ordnungsgemäß erforscht Nantes würde gerne zurückkehren und die Stadt erforschen

Die Lage ist für den Bahnhof und einen guten 15-minütigen Spaziergang zum Zentrum. Gute Größe Zimmer - sauber Frühstück bietet eine anständige Wahl. Es gibt eine kleine Küche im Zimmer, die handvoll kommen kann ich 5 Nächte im Geschäftsbereich - und die einzigen Probleme, die ich angestellt habe, waren die Zimmerreinigung während der Woche - sehr aus und auf hatte einen Tag, wo das Toilettenpapier und Dusche gel nicht gefüllt wurde ... ziemlich irritierend! Aber neben dem, was es tut die Arbeit, ist das Personal freundlich

Gutes Hotel in einer hervorragenden Lage, direkt im Zentrum der Stadt. Liebe zum Foyer. Das Zimmer war schön und ungewöhnlich für kontinentale Hotels bot im Zimmer eine Kettle mit Tee und Kaffee. Das Zimmer hatte auch einen Safe, das ist immer ein gutes Zeichen. Ich muss sagen, obwohl das Zimmer etwas auf der Krampfgröße und auch mein Partner war nicht auf die semi-transparente Glaswände für das Badezimmer. Auch ich hätte es lieber, dass das Badezimmer und das Toilette nicht getrennt waren. Die Bar sah nett aus, aber ich habe nie jemanden in der Anwesenheit gesehen, so dass ich es nicht benutzt habe. Wir hatten kein Frühstück, so dass ich nicht dazu kommentieren kann. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, so gut dort gemacht. Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel in einer guten Lage.

Ein fabelhaftes Hotel im Graslin-Viertel von Nantes, perfekt gelegen, nur wenige Gehminuten von den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. 1 Minute zu Fuß zum Place Graslin mit seinem schönen Theater, das nachts wunderschön beleuchtet ist, und La Cigale, dem atemberaubenden Jugendstil-Restaurant aus dem Jahr 1895. Die Zimmer sind recht klein, aber schön eingerichtet mit Minibar, Fernseher, Haartrockner, Tee-/Kaffeezubereiter und einige Zimmer mit Balkon. Hervorragendes WLAN. Viele Bars und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe sowie einmalige Boutiquen und Geschäfte und nicht weit vom Geschäftsviertel entfernt. Sehr einladendes und freundliches Personal - äußerst hilfreich bei Wegbeschreibungen oder allem anderen, was benötigt wurde. Reiseführer und Karten sind an der 24-Stunden-Rezeption erhältlich.
