I am utterly shocked that Sheraton puts their name on this property. This is one of the all time worst stays anywhere we’ve ever experienced. Also loyalty/status means nothing here as I am a Bonvoy Platinum member and I was treated terribly from the moment I arrived. I arrive to my room (254) and this “poolside” room is in the deepest darkest corner of the hotel. This room is dark, like REALLY dark. There is no pool view, just overlaps with the terrace for the family suite. So no light comes into this room from any direction. Secondly, they clearly have given up on investing in this hotel. Security is not a priority for them. My safe was broken so we could not secure out valuables. Also the door (Door C) to enter the hotel had a broken card scanner so they had a ziptie keeping the handle open so people could enter 24/7. I not making this up, see attached photo. Lastly, my wife and I decided to try the pool out. Well I was leaning on the edge of the pool for 10 minutes or so… the paint literally came off the concrete and was all over my body and bathing suit. I could not even wash off the bright blue paint from my skin so I had to go to Eastham Ace Hardware to buy paint thinner. True Story. I told they from deal about this and that they need to warn other guests of the paint issue and they smirked at me and did nothing to alleviate the issue or my concerns. Absolutely disaste stay and property. I hope Sheraton/Marriott corporate reads this as the management here needs to be sent packing.
