I recently stayed at the Palace Hotel & Spa in Buxton and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was excellent, with friendly, professional, and attentive staff who made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Every member of the team was helpful and eager to ensure that everything was perfect. The hotel facilities were impressive. The spa and leisure areas were clean, relaxing, and well maintained, providing the perfect place to unwind. The hotel itself is beautiful, with comfortable rooms and a pleasant atmosphere that made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was also outstanding. Breakfast offered a great variety of options, all fresh and delicious, and the meals served throughout my stay were of a high standard. The restaurant staff were attentive, and the dining experience was excellent. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the Palace Hotel & Spa to anyone visiting Buxton. The combination of exceptional service, excellent facilities, and delicious food made for a memorable and enjoyable visit. I look forward to returning in the future.

Best Western Plus Buxton Hotel Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der Pavilion Gardens, der Busbahnhöfe und der Wanderwege. Das Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und warm perfekt nach einem langen Tag der Wanderung. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfreich, und die Gesamterfahrung war reibungslos und problemlos. Eine solide Wahl, wenn Sie Buxton und das Peak District mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erkunden.

Wir blieben für eine Nacht für eine besondere Gelegenheit. Als wir ankamen, wurde uns gesagt, dass der Spa für eine Veranstaltung geschlossen wurde, die sehr enttäuschend war, als ich dieses Hotel reservierte, weil der Spa & die Nutzung des Pools & Sauna planen. Das sollte zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung bekannt gegeben werden. Das Gebäude und die Grundstücke waren beeindruckend, aber bei der Ankunft war unser beigefügtes Oberzimmer kalt. Die Rezeption setzte auf unserem Ersuchen die Heizung ein, aber dies hätte tun müssen, bevor wir ankamen, da es 8 Grad draußen war. Wir saßen eine Stunde im Zimmer mit unseren Manteln auf, bevor wir einen tragbaren Heizgerät beantragten, weil die Strahlen nur Lukewarm sind. Das Zimmer war nie wirklich warm & als wir von dem Abendessen bei 9.15 zurück kamen, war die Heizung wieder abgeschaltet und wir mussten es wieder abschaltet. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut und die Server waren schön, aber unorganisiert. Wir wollten im Hotelbar ein Getränk haben, aber es war so kalt, dass es leer und nicht komfortabel zu bleiben war. Ich habe gehört, dass mehr als ein Mitarbeiter über das Kalt im Hotel klagen. Was ein sehr angenehmes Aufenthalt gewesen sein könnte, wurde durch das Kalt vernichtet. Leider werden wir nicht zurückkommen.

An excellent short stay in this B&B situated above a tea room in the village of Bonsall. Check-in is a small window of 2 hours between 2 and 4 pm but it does state that you can organise late check-in if you are stuck. Best to avoid the area around the Heights of Abraham when traveling in at the weekend as it gets very busy. We were there just to check out the area for walking and it suited our needs perfectly. The owner greeted us and made sure we settled in and as a bonus, the tea room was still open to allow us to sample their delicious cakes before unpacking. We went to the Kings Head pub for dinner which is a 3-minute walk up the hill and I must say it was a good choice. Another place with great hospitality with a mix of locals and visitors but more importantly good honest grub. Breakfast was probably one of the best we have ever had at a B&B it was plentiful and there was no compromise on quality, perfect to fuel us for another day on the hills. Thank you for hosting us and giving us good value for money in an excellent location to explore the Peak District National Park.

Die Service und Reinigung waren sehr gut. Es hat jedoch nicht irgendwo gesagt, dass wir für den ”Spa” (die Pools und Einrichtungen) eine zusätzliche 40 Pfund pro Person zahlen müssen. Als wir reserviert waren, sah es alles enthalten. Als ich die Rezeption um das fragte, sagten sie gerade, dass es nicht ihr Problem sei, und sie gab einfach Entschuldigungen für ihre Mitarbeit in den Systemen und sagten, dass wir nicht verpflichtet wären, zu zahlen, wenn wir nicht wollen. Aber der ganze Punkt für uns, dieses Hotel zu buchen, war, einen Spa-Tag zu haben, so wäre es sinnlos für uns dort einfach in unseren Zimmern zu sitzen. Nicht wert, überhaupt für den Preis, den Sie zahlen und die 40 Pfund extra pro Person oben. Obwohl das Zimmer sauber war, war es sehr klein und es gab eine konstante Lärm, die auf und von jedem paar Minuten war, die unser Schlaf schwer störte. Lautstärke bedeutete, wir hatten kaum Schlaf. Insgesamt würden sie nicht empfehlen, extrem überpreist und überbewertet.

Unbefriedigend, das ist das günstigste Hotel in meinem Wohnsitz in Großbritannien, obwohl es auch sehr bequem ist, in der Nähe des Gartens zu essen. Das Hotel-Rezeption ist auch warmes Abendessen und der Geschmack ist nicht schlecht. Neben dem Hotel gibt es eine Wohnwagenbasis. Wenn Sie 218 von Sheffield aus dem Bus durch den Darcy Park abfahren und 6.1 7 Minuten Bustransport wechseln, müssen Sie sich nach der Position der Navigation erinnern, dass Sie sich einige Minuten nach einer kleinen Brücke weitermachen, Die Navigation ist nicht sehr genau. Der lokale Bus ist nicht anders als der Taxi. Ich hätte das Hotel mit dem Auto fahren sollen, um Uber 138 zu finden, dass es nicht direkt mit dem Auto fahren ist OK. Die Landschaft ist besonders schön auf der ganzen Straße, und es ist auch ein gutes Reiseerlebnis ～

We chose Wildes Inn as it is conveniently located just 4 minutes from Bolsover Hospital, where our mother was due to have full knee surgery. We wanted her to be well rested and comfortable, and the Inn truly delivered. The staff were very friendly, and we were greeted straight away by a young, polite gentleman who made check-in smooth and stress-free. The lobby smelled wonderful and had a spa-like, relaxing atmosphere. The team were also very thoughtful, knowing the reason for our stay, they even offered to arrange takeaway breakfast for us. We booked an accessible room for our mother, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was great too. Overall, we were very satisfied with the entire experience. Our mother was well rested and ready for her surgery. If we pass through again, I would love to try the spa treatments, they certainly look very appealing.

Booked this hotel as we were attending women’s football at Derby Pride Park.  We used the NCP car park which was only. 5min walk.  All the staff were smart, well mannered and helpful.  The room was a good size and were surprised to have a full sized bath as well as a powerful shower.  Fantastic breakfast selection where all food was replenished as soon as it was getting low. The only negatives for us was the fact we found some rubbish near the bed along with evidence of dust, one of the bed sheets was torn and one of the bedside wall lamp units was hanging off the wall but still functional. Overall a really lovely hotel  and ideally situated for the football stadium as well as taking in the local sites/ shopping centre (straight over the road)

Disappointed that the pool wasn’t available due to refurbishment and was not advised of this in advance. Gym had everything you needed and sauna and steam room still open. Also the restaurant was closed and only a limited menu served in the bar was available. Having said this, they made a real effort to make some tables in the bar look special with tablecloths and candles and the food we had was delicious and well presented. Staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and attentive. Room was spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast was typical buffet with hot & cold offerings. Smoked salmon was lovely touch! Would definitely stay here again. Great value for money!

Stayed for two nights in this beautiful country hotel. A very warm welcome on arrival and then shown to a beautiful large room, The Kedleston. It had everything you could wish for and a very comfortable bed. I was staying to visit relatives nearby but it would make an excellent base for exploring the area. Kedleston Hall, National Trust is on the doorstep and a must to visit. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, I didn’t eat in the evenings but the menu looked really good and if breakfast was anything to go on it will be fabulous. I will definitely return to stay and also take my family to the restaurant. Thank you to all your excellent staff for a very enjoyable stay.
