Ferienwohnungen in Imabari

Very disappointed to be writing this review... Firstly, their website is dreadfully dated and their booking system puzzling, even comically so. It almost feels like using the Wayback Machine... I tried booking five or six months in advance and so I wrote to the hotel to express my excitement for both coming back to Imabari where I once lived and worked teaching English in 1999, and also that I had always wanted to stay at the hotel, as I actually lived directly across the road from the hotel and always thought it so exclusive and luxurious-looking, and it was the talk-of-the-town back in '99 when they were still very new. I was willing to pay a substantial room rate for a Tatami Suite (approx. ¥30,000 per night for three nights) however was advised that they were sold-out for my desired dates-of-stay in March 2023. What irked me is that no alternative accommodation options were offered, despite there still being availability on third-party websites such as *********** and ******* for other room types, and there was no acknowledgment of my excitement and enthusiasm for wanting to be a guest of theirs' after so many years, or for any disappointment caused. This is terrible service, and not exactly what one would call 'growing the business' to reject a potential guest despite having other rooms and suites available to sell. We instead booked ourselves a wa****su (traditional Japanese tatami room) at Hotel Kikusui Imabari down by the port, which was cute, comfortable, clean, and looks to have had recently had a refurbishment of their guestrooms as the bathrooms while small were nice and new. The cost of this room was also about a third of what the Kokusai Imabari Hotel asks for their Tatami Suites as well. I still wanted to go to the Kokusai Imabri Hotel however and at least see their gardens and lobby, pick up some Imbari towels from the official store at the front entrance, and have breakfast in their restaurant. The lobby is very nice and it does have the grandeur of a Japanese hotel trying to be a European hotel without being tacky or dated, and it does appear that they have recently cleaned all the chandeliers (I'd read other reviews and this seems to have been a first impression for a lot of guests, so this was a nice surprise to see them dust-free). We had a look at the gardens outside and they were very nice and maintained as to be expected with Japanese gardens. So why the 1 star review? Well, we wanted to treat ourselves to what we thought would be a five-star breakfast. We were told to go upstairs to the mezzanine level and we met a nice lady staff member who advised that breakfast would be roughly ¥2,400 per person. No problem, that's fair for a good buffet breakfast. We were then however lead into a huge banquet hall with only a couple of dozen guests dining, which made it feel even emptier and more like a school cafeteria rather than a classy restaurant. Das Hotel verfügt über eine moderne Unterkunft und eine Bar mit einigen schönen japanischen Dekoren und Homeware auf den Decken. Es gibt auch ein komplimentäres 'Amenity buffet', so können Sie einige zusätzliche Seife, Shampoos, Badesalze etc. jederzeit sammeln. Wir hatten einen wa****su (traditionelle japanische Tatami-Zimmer) Auf dem 3. Stock, die mittelmäßig in Größe, aber sehr sauber war und scheint eine kürzlich renovierte, da das Badezimmer sehr neu und modern war. Imabari Haupteinkaufsstraße ist nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß mit einigen schönen Kaffeegeschäften und Homeware-Shops. Es gibt auch zwei Poeme-Geschäfte in der Nähe, wo Sie Imabari lokale Süßigkeiten kaufen können, die perfekt mit Kaffee und auch als Geschenkidee auch! Der nächste Komfortladen (Family Mart) ist ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernt und das Schloss Imabari ist ca. 10 Gehminuten vom Voreingang des Hotels entfernt und bietet einen interessanten Nachmittag und einen ausgezeichneten 360 Grad-Ausblick von oben. Das Hotel hat Fahrräder, die Sie kostenlos mieten können, aber die Sitze waren sehr unkomfortable und sogar ein wenig schmerzhaft (obwohl es vielleicht nur ich, da ich nicht in ganz wenigen Jahren ein Fahrrad fahren und ich bin ein großer schwerer australischer Block! ) Unsere Futons waren sehr komfortabel und wir hatten eine tolle Nachtsleimhaut und fühlten uns sehr erfrischend am Morgen. Leider haben wir beschlossen, zum Frühstück im Imabari Kokusai Hotel zu gehen anstatt im Hotel Kikusui Imabari Frühstück zu haben und wir haben dort vielleicht das schlimmste Buffet Frühstück. Wir haben nicht nur das Frühstück im Haus geblieben und das Essen in Kikusui scheint sich viel besser zu sein und auch auf einen Teil des Preises! Das Hotel konnte nicht fehlgeschlagen werden und wird absolut wieder auf meinem nächsten Besuch in meiner alten Heimatstadt Imabari bleiben!

Der Parkplatz, der bei der Arbeit verwendet wird, ist sowohl vorder als auch hinterer, nur zehn Fahrzeuge, so dass es für die Autogesellschaft vielleicht etwas unzureichend sein kann und es gibt viele kleine Lastwagengruppen, die Parkgebühren sind auch sehr hoch. Die Türen und Rahmen des Einheitsbuses sind instabil, der Schalter ist unsichere, der Sitz ist während des Gebrauchs willkürlich zurückgegangen und hält die Hand an. Andererseits ist das Frühstück im Familienhaus auch für gesund zu halten.

This place was awesome! The staff is very helpful with multiple complicated requests. The front desk girl spoke very good English, and was one of the most friendly people we have met in Japan. There is an Italian worker who is practically fluent in English. The rooms are, extremely comfortable, clean, with a lot of amenities for the location. There is beautiful surrounding scenery, with beautiful views from the rooms. I travel a lot, and I loved it. I can not think of anything they could have done better. Keep these people in business. I don’t normally bother with reviews, but I had to leave this. Thanks WAKKA!

Als Anlage vermisse ich die seltenen Schiffe mit Badewanne und Badewanne. Was soll ich sagen? Am Norden des Silber-Stationens ist die geografische Lage, die vom Bahnhof ausgehend ist, nicht gut, aber das ist die Stadt, die heute hier ist. Die Shop Street ist seit der ganzen Tour von Bo Haidea vollständig in die Express Street geworden, aber es gibt auch immer neue Gefühle in den leeren Geschäften. Für diejenigen, die sich für die alten und sogar traurigen Reisenden entschuldigen können, ist dies vielleicht eine gute Unterkunft. Frühstück ist kostenlos, warmer Kaffee ist kostenlos. Service: Für die Abstimmung und Service sind gut

Ich dachte, das Haus wäre ungelegen und es war schwer, den öffentlichen Verkehr zu erreichen, daher habe ich ein paar Gelder in den Wagen gefahren und wollte eine schlechte Bewertung geben. Aber zum Zeitpunkt der Hoteleinrichtungen und der Landschaft ist alles nicht mehr wichtig. Wenn das Wetter gut ist, können Zimmer und Restaurants die super wunderschöne Landschaft sehen! Sonnenaufgang und Morgendämmerung sind schön. Das Essen ist super, Sie müssen eine zweite oder dreite Mahlzeit wählen, jedes Essen ist fettgefüllt und schmeckt gut. Das Zimmer ist groß und die Lage ist auch sehr gut. Das einzige Problem ist, dass es keine natürliche warme ist, sonst kann man sich wirklich drei Tage hier halten.
