Top-Apartments in Orvieto

Zunächst einmal möchte ich positiv die sehr schöne, gepflegte Anlage und das große Zimmer mit toller Dusche und Badewanne hervorheben. Negativ Punkte die uns bisher aufgefallen sind: Am 1. Tag haben wir am Pool mit leider total durchgelegenen und unbequemen Liegen einen Altarocca Spritz für 8,00 Euro bestellt, der fast nur aus Eis, Wasser und einem kleinen Schuss Aperol bestand. Wahrscheinlich wird das Personal auf Provision bezahlt wieviel abends noch in den Flaschen ist. Vielleicht auch der Grund dass das Getränk nicht Aperol Spritz genannt wird. Gestern beim Frühstück ist negativ aufgefallen dass der Orangensaft nicht frisch, sondern aus der Packung ist, genau wie das in Milch schwimmende Rührei. Ein Spiegelei muss extra bezahlt werden, geht bei diesen Preisen überhaupt nicht. Bei unserer Buchung über Secret Escapes wurde eine kostenlose Weinprobe sowie ein Olivenöl Tasting als zusätzliche Leistungen mit angeboten. Beim Checkin hat man uns jedoch nicht mitgeteilt dass während unseres 3 tägigen Aufenthaltes nur 1 Termin um die Mittagszeit zur Verfügung steht. Wir haben uns aber an diesem Tag um 12.00 Uhr im 100 km entfernt liegenden Assisi mit Freunden verabredet Ein weiter Termin zur Öl und Weinprobe stand nicht zur Verfügung und einen Ausgleich hat man uns auch nicht angeboten. Vielleicht wird dieser ja von Secret Escapes gezahlt. Das alles trübt natürlich den guten Eindruck des Zimmers und der Anlage.

Albergo centralissimo, traversa del corso! Si raggiungono tutti i luoghi d'interesse in pochi passi! Camera spaziosa, con tv grande finalmente! Bagno grande e nuovo con box doccia enorme! La colazione è internazionale, il top delle prime colazioni: c'è di tutto, anche selezioni di formaggi da provare col miele, uova strapazzate, bacon, uova sode, salumi..... e dolci dalla A alla Z!!! I receptionist tutti affabili e servizievoli. Un'ottima scelta e scoperta grazie allo smartbox che ci avevano regalato!

Mein Mann und ich blieben hier für eine Nacht zwischen Rom und Florenz, so dass wir Orvieto besuchen können, neben Sacro Bosco und Civita di Bagnoregio auf dem Weg. Das Zimmer war ziemlich standardisiert, aber schön zum Preis: sauber, ein großes, komfortables Bett und eine moderne, künstliche Dekoration. Unser Ecke-Zimmer hatte zwei Fenster, die schön war. Es war sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Es ist sehr nahe dem Duomo und anderen Punkten von Interesse in Orvieto. Denken Sie daran, dass der Centro Historico von Orvieto nicht sehr groß ist, so ist das ziemlich viel ein Geschenk. Der Nachtpreis für unser Doppelzimmer umfasste Frühstück, und das Frühstück war gut. Das WiFi funktionierte gut. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine Ein-/Auscheckung war einfach. Eine Sache, die ich nicht mag, war die Gebühr für Kaffee und Tee im Zimmer. Wir hatten keine, aber wir sind daran gewöhnt, dass diese Getränke ohne zusätzliche Gebühr bereitgestellt werden.

We stayed two nights at the hotel. Excellent accommodations. They parked our car. They served a wonderful breakfast. I got up early (4:30 a.m.) both mornings to do some work and was able to get a cappuccino. Very gracious hosts. As far as location is concerned, the hotel is not far some Pizza della Republica and the Corso and via del Duomo. We saw everything we wanted to in Orvieto and also saw Civita di Bagnoregio.. Easy access by car, easy exit. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Die Umgebung ist sehr schön, Sie müssen selbst dorthin fahren, da der Bauernhof keine Mahlzeiten anbietet und das Frühstück sehr einfach ist, Sie müssen also selbst fahren oder es zum Essen zurückkaufen. Die Ausstattung ist in Ordnung, aber die Schalldämmung ist nicht sehr gut, es wird sich gegenseitig belästigen, es ist sauber, sehr gemütlich, die Zimmer sind auch sehr groß, es gibt auch ein gemeinsames Wohnzimmer und eine Indoor-Aussichtsplattform. Die Wirtin hatte sich gut vorbereitet, gerade als die Temperatur abkühlte, bereitete sie sich auf die neu gekaufte Decke vor. Andere Dienstleistungen sind nichts, Frühstück ist sehr einfach, Kuchen, Eier, Kaffee, Tee, Joghurt, Müsli, kein Salz. Hier sind keine anderen Menschen und es gibt keine anderen Häuser im Umkreis von etwa 2 Kilometern. Streng genommen ist es nicht als Hotel zu betrachten, es ist eine sehr gute Gastfamilie.

Visiting La Badia is like stepping into a fairytale. My husband and I held our wedding at La Badia di Orvieto last month (finally, after having to postpone for the last two years due to covid). It was quite simply the most wonderful weekend we could have ever imagined. First of all, the place itself is pure magic. We had booked La Badia as our venue on the basis of photos we had seen (our fantastic wedding planner had previously held a wedding there and the photos were gorgeous). As soon as we arrived at the venue for our wedding weekend and walked around the grounds, we felt as if we were in a fairytale, walking back in time. Some of the reviews comment that the hotel isn’t modern enough- but that’s part of the magic of this place and I think if you visit this hotel you should manage your expectations in terms of modernity. The rooms are beautiful and tastefully appointed and clean. They are not overly modern though and nor would I want them to be. You feel the entire hotel is steeped in history and that is the beauty of it. I’ve never been to another hotel like it. The breakfast at La Badia is also very good - the food was all high quality and there’s a large variety of food (and even some gluten free options). The bar is also open all day and they make absolutely fantastic sandwiches - the ingredients are excellent, especially their bread. The most breathtaking part of this hotel is the Sala Capitolare where the arch is located- this is where we had our wedding dinner and it was spectacular. However, all of the grounds are stunning. The chapel on the grounds where we had our ceremony was so beautiful and serene. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect spot for our ceremony. Our guests also made good use of the swimming pool and tennis court over the course of the weekend. That weekend in May was about 30 degrees Celsius so our guests really enjoyed being able to get into the pool to cool off. Moving onto the fantastic people- they worked tirelessly during our wedding weekend to coordinate with our wedding planner to ensure that all went seamlessly. They truly cared about making sure we had a wonderful weekend, and we so appreciated their kindness and dedication. Rossella, Andreina, Tommaso, Manuel - thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your hard work, dedication and kindness. La Badia is the most magical place, and that weekend will be in our memories forever. We were pinching ourselves the whole weekend as we couldn’t believe how lucky we were to get married in such a stunning location. I can’t say enough positive things about this hotel. I would 100% recommend a stay here - soak up all the beauty it has to offer. We can’t wait to return!

Es ist schwer, einen $60/night Platz zu bewerten. Ich hatte niedrige Erwartungen (obwohl einige der Bewertungen etwas mehr anregten) auf dieser Ebene, aber ich suchte nach einem teuren Ort, weil ich nur einsam reiste und nicht mehr in dem Zimmer verbringen würde, als schlafen. Geeignet für diesen Zweck. Rein. Und freundlich. Rosana ging aus ihrem Weg, die Stadt zu erklären und war ziemlich hilfreich. Bitte beachten Sie, dass es in einem Dreieck zwischen zwei Straßen liegt, so können Sie einige Verkehrslärm, auch wenn nicht zu viel Verkehr in der Nacht, und nichts ein weißes Lärm App kann nicht bewältigen. Ich hatte höhere Hoffnungen auf das Frühstück, aber es war sehr grundlegende, mit der Gastgeber ein Stück Frühstücksgeschmack, ein Stück Brot, Käse und Hanf, weichgekochte Ei und ein kleines Joghurt. Und Kaffee zu bestellen. Ich habe hungrig. Vielleicht hätte ich mehr gefragt, aber nichts wurde angeboten, und ich wollte nichts tun.
