Provinz Granada Apartments

Just a one-night stay, but we were impressed with the stylishly restrained architecture of this minimalist white building, up against the northern edge of the snow-capped Sierra Nevada. We had a warm welcome from the Belgian / Spanish husband and wife owners and their able team; and very much enjoyed the wonderfully lively small restaurant with its imaginative, well-prepared menu, already proving to be a major draw for the local area. The approach isn't particularly attractive, a few hundred metres on an unsurfaced (but level and smooth) track, but the wider area has a lot to offer, including the castle at nearby La Calahorra. Guadix, with its impressive cathedral and fascinating caves barrio, is about 25 minutes drive away.

Wir waren im Juli/August 12 Tage in Granada, das Hotel hat uns das Leben sehr erleichtert. Wir hatten es eigentlich wegen der Nähe zur Wohnung unserer spanischen Verwandten ausgesucht, unsere hohen Erwartungen (darf man bei 4 Sternen ja wohl haben) wurden übertroffen. Angenehm schon die Lage: Nahe der Jardines del triumfo, zur Kathedrale zu Fuß knapp 30 Minuten. Granada ist an sich anstrengend: VielKultur, viel Ethik aus der Zeit der Mauren, viele Touristen, das alles stürzt auf einen ein, mental und sehr real. Da ist es schön, etwas am Rande zu wohnen, Ruhe zu haben und Bares , Bodegas und Restaurantes in der Nähe zu wissen, wo fast nur Einheimische sind. Und wenn man müde ist, vom Taxistand an den Jardines aus zur Plaza Nueva, genau unter der Alhambra, zahlt man 5€, nicht mehr. Das Zimmer war praktisch: riesiges Bett, großer, innenbeleuchteter Kleiderschrank, Schreibtisch für alle Döschen, Bücher, etc, gute Klimaanlage. Das Fenster ging auf einen großen Hof, wir empfanden das eher als angenehmen Blick in das Leben der Einwohner. Gute Nachttische und Nachttischlampen. Im Bad sehr viele Abstellmöglichkeiten. Das Hotel ist groß, hat aber auch drei Aufzüge. Das Personal ließ uns völlig in Ruhe, half andererseits , wenn wir etwas brauchten. Wir hatten das Gefühl, ein eigenes kleines Apartment in Granada zu haben. Und bei den Sommertemperaturen hatten wir das auch nötig. Es gibt ein Frühstücksbuffet und eine Bar, aber ein Tipp: Man kan auch links vom Eingang oder 100m rechts in kleinen Bares frühstücken, das ist einfach, aber gut (z.B. Kaffee, Toast mit Butter/Marmelade oder Tostada mit Tomate und Olivenöl, dazu ein Glas frischgepresster Orangensaft für 5-6€, das ist nicht überteuert.) Wir haben für 12 Nächte 92o€ gezahlt, das ist nicht billig, für die Qualität aber auch mehr als fair. Teuer werden extras wie Traingsgeräte, Beauty,... . Das Schwimmbad auf dem Dach ist gratis, hat sogar einen Lift für Menschen mit Behinderung. Das Hotel hat wohl eine eigene Garage, sonst gibt es eine riesige Garage unter der Avenida (nicht günstig, aber gut). Wir werden sicher wieder hier wohnen, wenn wir wieder in Granada sind.

al llegar te cobran el niño que ya ponía niño gratis en la reserva . te cobran 100€ de fianza cosa que no se pone en reserva y la chica muy joven de recepción contesta mal como si eres analfabeto . hasta te dice que la Ñ no se pone en mails como si fueras ton-to te dice que tu hija tiene 12 años como si quisieras robar al hotel cuando tiene delante el dni de la niña que le faltan meses para cumplir 12 . SIN PARAR DE OFENDER .

Unser Aufenthalt war allerdings schon im März 2020!!! Leider konnte ich dies nicht mehr anklicken. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Sauberkeit der Hotel Anlage, der Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft aller Angestellten und nutzten den Standort für unsere Ausflüge ins wunderschöne Spanien. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und die Mahlzeiten waren reichlich und lecker.

Der Name Business gibt einen Hinweis, dass es sich nicht um ein typisches Touristenhotel handelt. Das Hotel wirkt elegant und es gibt eigentlich nichts zu kritisieren . Natürlich könnten die Zimmer etwas größer sein und eine Sitzgruppe haben. Auch ist es etwas hellhörig. Vom Balkon aus blickt man auf das Meer. Im Bad eine Wanne. Beim Frühstück gab es viel Platz und ein überdurchschnittliches Buffet. Wirklich frisches Brot gab es allerdings nicht. Personal war korrekt und professionell. Auch stark Sehbehinderte finden ihr Zimmer (foto).

We went with two small children with both (oldest almost 7) both very keen to use the 'childrens pool' (seperate to the adults rightly so). This 'childrens ' pool is a babies paddling pool (for a better description read other bad reviews outlining the same issue). When I asked the hotel manager why I was lead to believe children might be able to swim from the clear description on the website he passively aggressively stated that its a wellness center meant purely for relaxing (it was like something out of 'The Office') . I explained to him that perhaps with the oversized frozen caricatures and water jets and clear description on the website we could be mistaken in to thinking that children might be able to swim. Not sit in a 30cm 5m x 2m square box. I also pointed out that people are still able to SWIM in wellness centres. I just checked the website again and it clearly states 'children's pool'. It was beyond disappointing (we went more for the hotel as the lifts were still closed). The ONLY saving grace was the childrens club. Great activities and nice environment with the girls super friendly and perfect for the kids. If it wasnt for this we probably would have moved as our room was absolutely tiny. The room service food was hideous. Cold on arrival and bad quality and insanely expensive. We were walking back into the hotel one night and asked reception how much the buffet restaurant was if we havent booked it, in advance they said 35 euros. When we went to check out they tried to charge us 43 euros. I explained that wasnt the price we got told by two members of staff just the evening before. They said they charged us a different price because we didnt book it in advance. It was outrageous. I explained maybe the mistake was with the staff members not being aware of two different prices and the lady on the desk proceeded wo have a full blown arguement with us on the desk. It was truly AWFUL. We asked to speak to the manager and got told they were busy. The queue behind us was insane. I explained we were not leaving until we paid the price we got told by the staff members and after a very long amount of time she charged us the amount we got quoted. It left us with the worst feeling and I have since told everyone I know about it. Side notes: I asked the pool receptionist to get the pool toys out for the kids. She said she hasnt got them today. I told her we had them the day before. She said ok I'll go and get them. (and they were in the cupboard). The childrens pool bubbles didn.t even work on the second day. The lady on the pool desk said it was broken, I went for a massage I had booked for 6pm. The masseuse was late. Nobody informed me. I was just sat there waiting. It Started at 6.15 and finished early with no apology. Such a bad spa experience. So fundamentally- DO NOT go with kids that want to swim. DO NOT expect good customer service. DO expect small v.over priced rooms.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, die Zufahrt mit Auto kompliziert, der Check in war online viel (60€!) günstiger als an der Rezeption, die Dachterrasse mit Pool sieht schön aus und der Ausblick ist phantastisch aber was nützt es, wenn die Gäste wie Sardinen aneinander gereiht sind und trotzdem viele keinen Platz mehr bekommen haben. Die Zimmer sind sauber und haben eine ausreichende Größe aber der Vorhang ist viel zu schmal und das superior Zimmer Richtung El Corte Ingles war einfach viel zu hell - in der Nacht und natürlich in der Früh. Das Frühstücksbuffet war riesig aber das glutenfreie Brot war nicht gut und es gab keinen einzigen glutenfreien Kuchen oder anderes süßes, als Milchalternative gab es nur soyamilch - bei so einem großen Buffet mit Vitalecke sollte man hier mehr anbieten. Auch gab es Smoothies nur mit Yoghurt und nicht reine Obst/Gemüse Säfte (außer Orangensaft). Der Kaffee war ungenießbar aus dem Automaten.

We have just spent almost a week at the hotel- our 3rd time in the recent years. It is great for people who like nice views, proximity to the ski slope and buffet food. Half board is always a great option for our family - dinner between 8 and 10.30pm works for us and there is plenty of choices - healthy, meats, fish and more plain kids options. The previous 2 times we stayed over Xmas and there was lots of seafood which normally is more pricy but the hotel maintained low dinner prices (13 euros per adult with tap water) so people staying outside the hotel were flocking on Xmas eve and the following day while some other restaurants were closed. The room rates are very competitively priced and unlike similarly priced self catered apartments in the area, there is plenty of common spaces with comfortable sofas and even a games room. The on-site ski rental shop is also a massive plus and again the prices are very competitive, actually cheaper than in the centre of Pradollano. We have not used the spa/ massage facilities as these actually are expensive in my view. The hotel is quite big and has lots of maintenance needs but I always see that the management prioritises within financial constraints. For example the old ski lockers do not bother me as they are functional. The cleaning quality is always top notch even though some people may be discouraged as terracotta tiles in bedrooms and bathrooms have old age marks. Overall the hotel has a feel of a large alpine chalet, rather than a modern business hotel.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis dieses Hotels ist recht gut, die Lage im Stadtzentrum ist sehr gut und das Parken ist praktisch. Allerdings ist das Gelände des gesamten Hotels etwas kompliziert und mehrere Aufzüge. Wenn Sie nicht den richtigen nehmen, können Sie möglicherweise nicht zu Ihrem Zimmer gelangen. Viele Aufzüge werden noch gewartet und Sie müssen Ihr Gepäck möglicherweise lange schleppen, um einen funktionierenden zu finden Aufzug😂. Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind relativ alt und die Zimmergröße und Hygiene sind in Ordnung, aber das Fenster liegt im Grunde gegenüber den Häusern anderer Leute und es gibt nicht viel Landschaft zu sehen. Auch die Service-Einstellung war sehr durchschnittlich. Als wir eincheckten, wurde uns das falsche Zimmer zugewiesen. Als wir es später ändern wollten, weigerte sich das Servicepersonal, es zuzulassen. Nach langem Streit wurde das Zimmer gewechselt ohne jegliche Entschuldigung.
