Best hotel in Windsor. The rooms have an excellent layout, are beautifully appointed, and the river view does not disappoint. The staff are very accommodating, and the kitchenettes in the suites are perfect, especially for longer stays, or when traveling with children. Highly recommend this hotel

The hotel is tastefully decorated and modern. A concierge service and 24 hour housekeeping is very nice. Beds and bedding is comfortable, and most rooms have separate stand up showers and tubs. If your lucky you may find yourself with a jetted tub. Do find that although the spacious rooms include giant TVs and minifridges, they are lacking microwaves. Being the tallest building(s) in Windsor, some of the views are great, views pointing out each direction (N E S W) depending on which side of which tower you are on. Smoking floors are offered on request. Large indoor pool with large whirlpool, changing rooms with lockers and toiletries. Men's and women's saunas available. Pool hours are cut a bit short, 6am to 10pm only.

Such a lovely, welcoming host and home. The breakfast was SO.good and SO big! Way more than we expected.or.could eat! It's not often you get 3 courses with breakfast! The bed in room 3 was saggy in the middle and could probably be replaced any time now. The room.and our ensure bathroom were both spotless. We would definitely stay again. If you have mobility issues, be aware that all the rooms are upstairs. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.

I normally dont write reviews, but this one deserves one. Very clean rooms, friendly staff. Beds are good but pillows bit hard. Decent breakfast. Overall good stay. Definately book again

Rewriting as there appears to be confusion from TripAdvisor team. This review is about our experience with Towneplace suites and the Towneplace moving us to Sheraton. (Same hotel brand - Marriott), upon literal arrival. Since writing this, and having it posted, the Operations Manager, Samantha, of Towneplace Suites, graciously reached out to make what I feel, is a grand gesture and show sincere appreciation for our concerns. So thank you! This doesn’t excuse our upset for if “we” know better we do better! So, I will begin with this, we did not end up staying. Although I felt compelled to write this for our disappointment upon arrival. Leads me to say, in writing this, expressing our concerns, when “we” know better; “we” do better! Please don’t wait until I’m at your front door. We booked this hotel months in advance to attend a Nexus interview the following day, over another hotel - the Sheraton Windsor! Literally! Coincidentally, the weather that particular week had temperatures with heat warnings including air quality warnings. We drove 3+ hours after finishing work, to literally arrive to Towneplace Suites hotel being told their AC is not working and anywhere in the hotel! They knowing/ having this intel days before our arrival, as staff of the hotel advised us! We were neither called nor notified pre-arrival for us to make alternative arrangements!! This shows lack of respect for themselves, their customers including a Platinum Elite Member such as I! We were told if we stayed, the window does open albeit a few inches! It was not ideal. They said, the alternative is, “they send us to the Sheraton Windsor (their other branded property), at same rate.” (Many reasons for not booking with “other hotel” originally. Rooms are extremely small. And, TripAdvisor reviews for which I do rely on, were less than I would consider. We have never had any luck with “other hotel name” albeit now part of Marriott brand. Hence, the reason I was skeptical.) So after attempts to make immediate alternative arrangements, I came up dry, and acquiesced to their moving us to the Sheraton Windsor. I did express my reasons for not wanting to stay there. FYI -and ORIGINALLY we got no offerings of any kind. No discounts, no free parking, no price adjustments, no offer of Marriott points. NOTHING! This is a huge inconvenience and now the restaurant we wanted to eat at, becomes unavailable option. I’ll explain! FYI - I will submit a separate review of the “other hotel”, and FYI, in advance - we would not stay there again! So, are we disappointed and put out we, as Platinum Elite or really any guest, be given Marriott points to express “sincere” gratitude? I chose the Towneplace Suites for the size of the rooms, and based on TripAdvisor reviews! This was a great experience. We arrived just after 7 pm and the desk clerk was very friendly and extremely welcoming. I have stayed here before....the last time renovations were being done. Our room was very comfortable, very very clean and the bathroom new and modern. Everything I would look for was there.....friendly welcome, clean comfortable room and a short walk down to Applebee's for supper. Showing the Super 8 card got us a 10% discount and great service at Applebee's as well - not a worry that they were close to closing time and absolutely no rush for us to leave. Nice addition at the Super 8 is the breakfast room. It does not offer a lot....but being a toast and coffee person, I enjoyed a fresh bagel with cream cheese and coffee. My husband made his own waffle (I was still on holidays!). Definitely on our next trip over the Ambassador Bridge a stay at the Super 8 would be a welcomed break and I recommend it!. Judy

My wife and I were attending a wedding in Windsor, and booked the Lexington for 3 nights - June 30, July 1, July 2. Check in Friday afternoon was fine except that the access keys did not work and had to be reprogrammed. Room was OK but missing a few towels. I called down and the missing items were brought up with little delay. Wall electrical units were quite loose and our plug ins kept falling out. A few other things were damaged/broken. Breakfast was included - fine although pretty limited and I had to ask the front desk to replenish the coffee and yogurt, but for the price was OK. However, when we returned after the early Saturday afternoon wedding, the room had not been cleaned/freshened up. I called the front desk - they indicated that the cleaning staff had left, but they would bring up fresh towels/soap, which they did. They thought that maybe we had left the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, but we had not as the sign was broken and still in the room. Almost forgot to mention that our room keys did not work - again - and they had to come up, take lock apart and replace the batteries. The next day (Sunday) when we were leaving for a function, I spoke with one of the cleaning staff men and indicated that we would be gone for a couple of hours and could he make sure the room was cleaned. He assured us it would be. Turned out it was not. The person at the front desk was quite apologetic and indicated he would send more fresh towels up. I asked to speak to the manager, but he was not in and would not be back until the next day after 10:00 a.m., after we had left. So we were there for 3 nights - no house cleaning, problems with the locks, no one to complain to… Once we returned home, I phoned Mr. Devendra Patel the General Manager, but he was not available. However, he did phone back the next day, and left me a short message. I returned the call and initially he was not available, but when I told them that a $20 total discount for the 3 nights was not satisfactory, he immediately came onto the phone line. Unfortunately, he was very argumentative, bordering on rude, and when I explained what had happened and that we were not happy, he hung up on me… We are not impressed. If you are traveling and need to stay somewhere for one night and can put up with a very budget hotel with limited resources, this one may be for you. But if you are looking for a couple of nights stay, other establishments might be in order. We would not stay here again. Never.
